Stopped in on a Saturday morning about 11am having passed by the place time and time again. Wasn't sure what to expect and left feeling a bit underwhelmed. In my opinion, there are better places for breakfast. We arrived and checked in with the host and were told there would be about a 15 minute wait, which ended up being a bit less than that. They were doing a good job quickly cleaning the tables and resetting them for the next guests and they got through the waitlist very quickly. We were seated and our server came over right away and took our drink order (two coffees and two waters) and returned almost immediately with our request. I asked a couple of questions about the menu and whether the biscuits were made in house. I was told no, that they came in frozen. No biggie.. I decided to do something light and chose the oatmeal with blueberries. My friend did scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. The service was good. Nothing exceptional but certainly solid. The place was packed and I'm sure it had been a long day for the breakfast crew. Our drinks were never empty and our server dropped off extra napkins without asking and checked on us throughout our visit. When she brought our check, I placed my credit card on the table and she walked by a couple of times without taking it, which I thought was strange. Then I realized there was a cash register at the back of the restaurant with cashiers. I looked at my bill to see if it said anything about paying at the cash register and it didn't. We probably would have been out of there about 10 minutes sooner had she mentioned that we were to pay the cashier. Again, no real complaints about that, but something worth mentioning. My real issue was the food. This isn't a scratch made kitchen and nothing was exceptional. Syrup was on each table in bulk and was probably from GFS or another supplier. Pancake batter was the same. Oatmeal was okay but again, not great. Nothing seems to be made in house here. Even the coffee had a slightly off taste. Four stars for the service but only two for the food. Since I came here for the food and not the service, that's where my rating comes from. read more

Literally the biggest bowl I've ever seen in my life! My mom ordered the ham and beans and they brought out a huge bowl full that could probably serve a whole family. It's also served with a side of fried potatoes and cornbread. She loved it! Even a couple that came in after us looked over at our table and decided that's what they wanted. I had the veggie skillet with scrambled eggs. It was really full of veggies and the hashbrowns were super crispy. The menu is enormous. I counted 7 very full pages and flaps. Had our car serviced and wanted breakfast. This restaurant is on Washington St. Across from Target in a remolded O'Charle's The parking lot was full and we thought we might have a long wait. The minute we walked in we were greeted with a warm "Good Morning". Asked how many in our party and did we want a table or booth. The minute we sat down we were greeted with hot coffee. When I say hot coffee, I am no talking warm, I am talking hot coffee. My husband ordered fried mush and loved it. He also hot hot links sausage and said it was spicy but good. I've eaten at Blueberry Hill several times prior to their move to a new location and, the food was good but looking at the tired, greasy, peeling tables, booth seats and decor affects your dining experience. I say that to emphasize just how much the new location, new tables, booths and chairs, fresh paint seem to have improved not only the overall experience of my meal but I really think the food quality improved! Meal was perfectly prepared and hubby and I both loved what we ordered. We wish our server would have refreshed our coffee more often but that was a minor inconvenience. Blueberry Hill pancakes has moved to a new location. It is now in the old OCharlie building a crossed from Washington Square. It opens at 6:00 in the morning and now is open until 4:00pm. We had lunch here today. I got my favorite, a tenderloin sandwich; my husband got the biscuits and gravy. My tenderloin was delicious. I would buy it again in a moment. My husband's biscuits and gravy was a little bit under whelming. It did not have much sausage in it, but was tasty. The platter sizes were huge. Both of us brought home the extra food. I loved and used to go to Blueberry Hill's Camby location when I lived near there, and this is my second location to dine at, and they did not disappoint! What makes this place special is their service that makes me feel at home! Every time I go there I receive good friendly service. Looking through the menu, as much as they offer I get surprised that they keep their prices low. It seems that restaurant chains are so quick to raise prices lately but this place still has affordable meals. Visited this place on a Sunday morning. There was about 20 minutes wait which wasn't really a problem. When I sat down, the server was very pushy and rushed us to order. We didn't even have time to look over the menus before she was like "what do you want". We ordered and she kinda disappeared for a bit. The food came back in an okay amount of time. We started to eat and the food wasn't very good. The bacon in my skillet was very hard. The server was quick to come back with the check and to ask if we needed boxes. I eat here all the time. Especially since it moved to its new location. Nothing fancy but the food is good. I've had sandwiches, dinner plates, and of course breakfast is their specialty. My parents are in their 80's and love to come here, so most weekends I'll bring them for breakfast. I see quite a few retirees, but also young families, working folks and even an occasional table of teens. I get their chopped steak a lot for lunch and it's always good. They serve a side salad with it and it's fresh and crisp. The veggie omelet is really good and I love their bacon. The hash browns are a let down, as they apparently make a huge batch and the serve from it till it's gone. Generally means they are room temperature and not the greatest. Servers are always friendly and efficient even on busy days. Weekend mornings till about 1pm can be packed, but they do have pagers that allow you to wait comfortably in your car. I do wish they'd remodel the bathrooms some, they are a bit run down but appear pretty clean. If your need a breakfast/brunch place on the east side, Blueberry Hill is a good spot to check out. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was. While the menu is not as varied as the one in vegas...there were s9me good options. Good afternoon... just got back from Blueberry Hill Pancake House with the Seniors from Bloom. As you can see, we had various meals. The Waffles were delicious! I tasted my Mom's! They were very easy to cut, which was nice for her. She's 93 years young. The BLT Club looked delicious and she said it was. She had to take half of it home. I had the eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast and grits. The grits were hot. Very good! My eggs were on the cool side. Toast, hash browns and bacon were okay. All in all, yes...
