We were 11 people who came in at 11:00 we knew it would take a while but we finally got seated at 1:30 and after they seated us not even together may I say, also they tried to move one table to another place and leave the second table. Had the opportunity to go to Le Peep for breakfast yesterday to celebrate my birthday for the first time. To sum it up in a sentence, it was good. Not fantastic and nothing to complain about. We went during a Sunday morning at 10am which I'm sure is their peak hours of the week. The wait we were told was 15 minutes and ended up being approximately that. The staff was efficient at getting patrons in and out as quick as possible. The wait area is too small for the popularity of this restaurant and my party of 3 awkwardly stood around basically in the dining area in proximity of other patrons dining. The food was great. I had the Le Petit French Toast and was good. I also had a side of bacon. The bacon was thicker than most other greasy spoon diners in the area and also cooked to perfection. A+ on the bacon. I sampled some potatoes as well which are griped about quite a bit on here. They were good. The other member in my party asked them to make them 'extra crisp' and i think that fixed the issue some Yelpers had regarding them being undercooked. The prices here are about 10-15% higher than other diners in the area. You definitely feel a sense of quality when you eat here. I can sense this place being expanded in the near future to accommodate their popularity. read more

Here's my breakdown: When it comes to the food, you have to find the right thing. The pancakes/waffles/pastries are good. The Belgium waffle is really good. The eggs are average. The potatoes are obviously pre made and frozen. Their texture is dense and their taste is a little more bland than I prefer. And the coffee has been burnt %100 of the time I have been there. The actual building itself is really beautiful. Really sunny and welcoming, cathedral height ceilings. Obviously well cared for. The service is phenomenal. Wherever this is location may lack in food quality they make up for in service and then some. Which is what keeps us coming back and trying new things! We've been to Le Peeps across the country but this one was not up to what we've experienced at others. We only went here because of great experiences at others ones. The food was okay...not anything special. It was the service though that was a big disappointment. The hostess acted as if she was a hostess at a really classy restaurant. This place might be classy for Valparaiso but Chicago is about an hour away. There it would hardly deem a yawn. Our server hardly spoke and barely checked on us. Maybe she and the hostess have the same DNA. It seems to be a place for the "upper crust" of Valparaiso. Lots of old bluebloods eating there. Maybe if we were a lot older, we would have appreciated more...but I doubt it. read more

Yes, this is the typical casual breakfast/brunch place. The place was clean, the service was prompt and friendly and the prices reasonable. The food was decent. When I say the service was prompt....I mean like fast food prompt. We ordered two different kids of eggs benedict, and I think the orders came out in about 3 minutes. Were they mindreading? My guess is the stuff isn't that fresh, and is primarily a Sysco/GFC establishment. The hollendaise sauce was a bit suspicious....lumpy., and with the texture of a nasty pudding....from a mix perhaps? Also, like most places that have special trademarked/branded potato names, the potatoes were bland. I don't see why restaurants put the effort into branding bland potatoes. Does the marketing/branding budget exhaust all of the salt/spices budget? Seriously. It's not hard. I think they are trying to imitate Cracker Barrel with these spiced apples, but they didn't do very well. These things were cold. Like straight out of the freezer cold. Not my thing. So, Le Peep is fine when just food for satiation is needed. read more

Always great service. Food is consistently good. Theyll make a substitution for you if you ask. Dont want the potatoes? Theyll bring you tomatoes or fruit. Mini denver is a favorite. But ive also ordered off menu... scrambled egg and bacon... and theyre happy to do it. Very accommodating. Lots of seating and an outdoor area. Lots of parking. Absolutely garbage restaurant. Completely refined all three of our Mother's Day meals. My crab cake Benedict wasn't cooked, the eggs were hard cooked not poached, there was no sauce OR English Muffin. My son's waffle did not come with butter or syrup and they gave him bacon instead of sausage. My husband's eggs were not cooked to the right style and his chicken fried steak did not have any gravy. I was in town for a few days and met up with an old friend here for breakfast. I ordered a veggie omelet. The omelet was over cooked to where there was the brown from the griddle on it. Since it was over cooked it was also dry. I ordered a caramel latte after our meal and it was creamy but had no definite taste. Service was good. read more

The English muffin was extremely tough and chewy, it clearly had been in a microwave. The ham was wet and cold with absolutely no sear on it. The poached eggs were 100% firm on the inside. It was so bad, I sent it back and stuck with the average diner quality coffee. Please save your money everyone, go to any other breakfast diner for a way better meal. I was a little sad because my friend wanted to order from the kids menu but she wasn't 12 or under. I got the wanderer skillet. They didn't ask how I wanted my eggs. I didn't eat them. Used to be very good. I used to go once a week for a long time. Menu changed, portions have decreased and the prices have increased. Food is meh. Service is good, however most of the food isn't nearly as good as the Le Peep locations I visited while living in Indianapolis. I'm not sure if it's the management or what, but the food just isn't prepared as well. The bandito burrito, however, is still just as amazing as Indy. read more
