Absolutely loved our stay at this Laguna Beach boutique hotel. From the minute we checked in Katie was so sweet accommodating & amazing. The room was exquisite, very spacious and clean. The aesthetic is very Ralph Lauren Coastal just beautiful. Complimentary breakfast with your stay Karen was awesome & makes a mean cup of coffee & tea. Booked a Saturday night check out Sunday 25$ for parking over night " not bad considering the location" and direct access to the beach. The beach is right across the street & they provide complimentary beach chairs & umbrellas. They have the room stocked to the brim with goodies... Will most certainly be back for another stay...

This place is so cute! It's across the street from the beautiful. I'm finally having a snack at the bar thanks to Anthony who is a doll!! They have happy hour from 4-8 pm on Thursday's. Great vibes here! It has a vintage California coastal vibe and it's kind of like Palm Springs by the beach.

This place is absolutely the cutest most gorgeous spot! The attention to detail is immaculate. I highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed. From the Rosé at check in, to the warm cookies in the evening, everything is thoughtful. Le Petit Pali, PLEASE invite me back! Our stay was on a whim, I am SO GLAD we chose you!!!

I make the trip back home to Laguna Beach once a year and try to pick a different place every time and this spot has been our favorite so far. Location: Let's face it, regardless of where you stay, you're going to take your car to get to most spots so the hotel being a little far from the main downtown restaurants and shops was inconsequential. There's a container CVS in the center but it looks like the market has been shut down, although Google reports it's temporary. Amenities: Hotel staff came and emptied the adorable retro fridge so we could load it up with water and our drinks, it took them 30 seconds from when we asked to when they knocked on our door with an empty basket, ready to go! Bed was HUGE (we got a king suite) and was decently soft. The pillows were also nice and plush as well. The bathroom tub in our room was ridiculous. I'm 5'11", my partner is 6' and we were able to comfortably fit inside with room to spare. Food and service: The free breakfast in the morning was perfect! They don't have meats but they do provide soft boiled eggs, an assortment of fruits, bread, delicious jam, and lovely tea service. We went for my birthday and they left me a cute little slice of cake our first morning in. They also delivered delicious cookies around midday and my partner loved them. The only downside to our stay was that we paid a dog fee but they were out of pet beds and bowls when we checked in. Thank goodness we brought our own fur son's supplies.

Mozzarella's Review of Le Petit Pali - 5 Paw Rating! Bonjour! I'm Mozzarella, a pink poofy poodle princess, and I give Le Petit Pali in Laguna Beach a big tail-wag and five sparkly stars! From the moment we arrived, the humans were so nice--they even brought my momsie some bubbly (I got kisses instead ). The room was trés chic, with the cutest little fridge and lots of personality (like me!). And guess what? They gave me my own bed, bowl, and biscuits. A boutique hotel that understands a girl needs her comforts! Every morning, we trotted to the beach across the street--Treasure Island! I zoomied in the sand before 9 a.m., as is proper for a lady of leisure. Then I napped while my humans snacked on hummus and veggies. No crumbs were dropped, I checked. I also highly recommend Rapport next door (I sniffed approvingly), and my moms adored the gluten-free pizza nearby. This whole town was made for paws and pink bows. Thank you, Le Petit Pali! I'll be back--with more outfits. Licks and love, Mozzarella Duchess of the Squeaky Toys Warden of Zoomies Fluffiest Guest of the Weekend

This place is very cute. My friend and I planned a last minute girls weekend and only stayed here one night but we very much enjoyed ourselves. It's conveniently located across from the Montage. Would have loved to stay there but 2k a night wasn't in my budget. Le Petit Pali was surprisingly pricey at over $600 a night but it did include a nice champagne breakfast and free parking. This is a newly renovated property and the room was beautiful. I loved that there was a complimentary steamer, flat iron, blow dryer and hot water bottle. Also loved the robes/slippers. The decor was a mix of new/old vintage including the pool decor. They also have a great social hour. I didn't catch the guys name who led it all but he was larger than life and super friendly. Definitely went above and beyond. The staff was very accommodating letting us hang out before and after our reservation time. Loved that it was walking distance to the beach. Also really loved the free trolley to town. We were about to call an Uber until he told us just to catch the trolley. He also gave us GREAT suggestions of places to eat, hear music, etc. it's a little loud being so close to the highway but they supplied earplugs (very smart). Loved the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion too. Would definitely recommend.

Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach is amazing, charming, fun, local and relaxing hotel. Right across the street from the beach. Everyone was friendly, inviting, nice, professional and more. Looking forward to more relaxing and recharging days/night. Poolside Blonde Marvel and Trestles IPA by Left Coast Brewing.

Next time, we'd stick to meals at the Montage, pizza at Z, and French fare at C'est La Vie -- all were delightful.

They are so kind and made sure our stay was a pleasant one. The hotel itself is right on the sand. There's beautiful views all throughout the hotel and from the rooms. The location is perfect and close walking distance from many great dining spots. You want to walk whenever possible because parking is a bit stressful and walking allows you to enjoy all that Laguna Beach has to offer. One of my favorite things about the room was being able to open the windows and sliding door to the beautiful ocean breeze. It's the best! (We couldn't do that for a portion of our stay because a couple of the neighbors continued to smoke. Not the hotel's fault because it is non-smoking but we were bummed that we kept smelling it in our room.) The room was nice, quaint and clean in general. For the price per night, I would say it might be due for some up keep just from normal wear and tear, such as new pillows and things like that. It wasn't super fancy or anything but the location of it offered beautiful views! The hotel and staff are lovely overall. We would genuinely stay here again.

Parking is a challenge, but that is pretty much table stakes in this area…read more While our room was not in the best location. (That's probably putting it nicely as we were just off the main street and as far away from the sea as possible without standing on the sidewalk.) The room itself was basic but met our needs, though the AC/unit was... different. It was a little floor unit connected to a dryer-vent-style hose that went into the wall. Other than that and some noisy guests and traffic from the street, it worked for me for our weekend. We didn't use the pool or partake in the breakfast, so I cannot comment on those, but the property itself seemed well maintained and they put chairs and umbrellas on the beach when the tide goes out. The uppermost balcony is a great spot to sit or stand in the morning to listen to the waves crash and follow sea birds or spot the occasional dolphin or crazy ocean swimmers. I would go get coffee and spend a few minutes up there each morning. Once you've got your parking spot, it is pretty easy to walk to a lot of places in town -- restaurants, shops and larger beaches -- and there is a shuttle that comes by periodically. There was a parade in town during the time we were there, so those seemed infrequent and nearly always packed with people. Bring comfortable shoes. We were fortunate to get a parking spot on the main hotel grounds. There is a secondary lot pretty close by, and they will give you directions and a map to its location at the front desk. I would not bring a large vehicle (no big trucks or Suburban/Ford Excursion-sized vehicles) since I doubt you'd fit into the small spots in either of the lots.

The service was excellent and can see that staff takes great care and attention to making sure everything is taken care of. We very much appreciated all the amenities this inn had to offer such as the welcome drink, evening cookies (delicious!), sauna, sunblock at the pool, towels, lovely breakfast.. all complimentary (breakfast with resort fee). We also appreciated the 10% military discount. We stayed in room 23 which was a standard queen bed with garden view and liked that spot because it felt central, private, and quiet. The room is on the smaller side but it was fine. It does not have a fridge but they provide an ice bucket. We ended up putting our bottled waters on top of the AC box and that kept it cool. Being that the inn is beautifully historic, there weren't many outlets inside the room. The bath robes were very plush. Both lamp shade knobs didn't seem to turn properly but we made it work somehow. Otherwise, we felt well taken care of throughout our stay and so glad we came. Aside from the inn, there is a walk to get to Victoria Beach. We walked south along Coast Highway to Victoria Place and found the underpass from there. We also took the free trolley outside of the hotel to get around town. It could be quite a wait for the trolley as we waited 30 mins. There is a QR code on the sign to track the trolley locations.

One of my favorite parts of the hotel that was unexpected was the free breakfast. The breakfast was seated with a server where we had many options from a delicious, light, and healthy menu. Definitely recommend Casa Laguna for a celebration, staycation, or a relaxing weekend getaway. :)

My room appeared to be next to what sounded like a utility or service room, and there was loud equipment noise running throughout the entire night. Sleeping was nearly impossible. I reached out to the hotel by both text and email after my stay and was told the matter would be looked into. It has now been over a week with no follow-up or resolution whatsoever. For the rates Surf & Sand charges, guests should not be placed in rooms with constant overnight noise issues, and concerns should certainly not be ignored afterward. Very disappointing experience from a hotel that presents itself as a luxury property.
