I have been here twice and MAN!! The food is amazing! First time I went, I was very grateful to have the owner as our server. He was so kind and informative about all of the food, and gave us great drink recommendations. My brother was recommended a side car that was a little too sour for his taste, and the owner replaced it with something else completely free! The meat and cheese charcuterie board is delightful, with the best olives, prosciutto, salami, tomatoes, and cheese! It was delicious, and a decent price as a starter. I dearly miss the yellow tomato soup (we ordered like 4 to go to eat again because it was so delightful), but the lobster bisque I had was also incredible. This place is so beautiful, with lots of pretty lights, fun decor, and a really calm setting. I took myself here and had that meat and cheese charcuterie board again with an apple sangria and was in heaven. You can tell everyone loves the food here, and it's a place I'd go to every day if I could afford to. Absolutely love this place!! Beautiful plating, atmosphere, and vibes! It is a delight to have a nice place like this in downtown Bartlett. It is one of a series of buildings, in the Banbury Fair complex. We went on a Friday night, around 5:30 - I was shocked by how crowded it was! As it is a barn, it is a little drafty and cold, so dress casual and warm, if you anticipate taking your coat off inside. I chose the whiskey and cheese board option, which came with three one ounce pours of bourbon, your choice, from fourteen possibilities - therefore, my drinks are done! Many tapas small salads, ceviche's, and plates to choose from, as well as larger full meals. p.s. - loved that classic ceviche - very good sized as well. The wine list is curated towards French, Spanish, Portugal, and California reds and whites - not extensive, but offering ample choices. Tonight we went back to our fav local restaurant, Le P'tit and decided to revisit the now named trio meat dish, Trio de Carne and as always, it was fabulous. There's just a wonderful dance of flavors all so well choreographed! And tonight, Owner / Chef Sonny Chopra provided a new and exceptional Columbia valley Merlot to go along with the trio medley. My daughter decided on dinner last night and she did pretty good! I love finding little local spots such as this place. The outdoor seating ambiance is just right for a family dinner or a fancy date. Love love love the lighting. Their food is really good as well. We sampled the seafood paella, salad, soup, and butter chicken meatballs. They were all very tasty. This place is a hidden gem in the west suburbs. It's located in downtown Bartlett in a quaint barn house building. The food we ordered was delicious. We got to chat with Sonny, the owner/chef, who was very friendly and greeted the guests at their tables. We ordered the Gambas, grilled octopus, short rib & bacon flatbread, seafood paella and some Old Fashioned drinks. The dishes were amazing. I was impressed that the grilled octopus was perfectly cooked. It was tender and not overcooked. They do not skip on the alcohol in their mixed drinks :) This place is great for a date night or just hanging out with friends. The ambiance is cozy and the service was great. A nice day to try this place out today. Decided to sit outside under a tree which provided shade with some wind. Aviana seated us and since it was our first time in this place, we asked for her suggestions regarding the food. Got the buttered chicken meatballs with naan, yummy! We also added lamb slider (had a little zing to it which added to the flavor), house burger (juicy!) and seafood paella. The owner's wife, Mimi, came out and chit chatted with us. They also own the coffee shop next to Le P'tit. They dont take reservations when I asked and the wait during their busiest times can be anywhere from 20 mins to an hour. However, having to wait 43 minutes to be acknowledged.. only then to go up to the bar to get your own drink(apparently the bus persons don't take any orders)only to go check on it 15 minutes later and bring it back to your table.. very disappointing. Their garganzola crispy bacon burger is hands down, the best burger in Bartlett. The meat is direct from a butcher and no joke! HIDDEN GEM!!! You know a place is great when you're torn between writing a review so the whole world knows how awesome this place is or keeping your lips sealed so you can get a table there. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the warmth, the energy you get when you visit family, when you know you are about to get taken care of. My wife and I didn't have reservations, which I would recommend since the tables are made for couples, just so the staff can ensure everyone is comfortable. As soon as we were seated, we were served complimentary montadito, a delicious mix of olive oil, cotija, Kalamata olives with a side of grilled bread. The wife and I got their special cocktail that was just made well and happened to work with our entire meal. The menu was not large, but it was still difficult since everything sounded mouthwatering. We ended up sharing the Lobster Bisque, Rib Eye Slider, Pollo Al Anticucho Slider, Sriracha Bourbon Burger, Grilled Shrimp, Baked Goat Cheese and the Short Rib Paella. None of what we had was good....it was excellent!! I hate to pick, but the Short Rib Paella was extremely tender, all the meat fell off the bone and was seasoned to perfection. After eating all of that, we made sure to have dessert, the wife had the chocolate molten cake and I had the rice pudding. Both were fresh, warm, presented well and was the cherry on top for the evening. I would definitely come back here again and bring as many people so we can sit outside. read more

Le Petit is a great Fusion Tappas with delicious flavorful dishes in a cozy room with a bar. The tappas portions were enough for four people to share. Some of our favorites were the "Frito de Espana" with Spanish olives & ciabatta slices, the "Bacon Wrapped Dates" were outstanding, the "Patatas Bravas" (potatos) were interesting in the smoky sauce, the ""Grilled Octopus" was good & finally the meat paella (chorizo & albondigas was the perfect ending. This beautiful barn is actually a restaurant! Owned by a very sweet man named Sunny, who seems to have a love for really good food , this is my kind of place, tapas are my favorite, because I like a little of a lot of different foods and to try as much as I can . We selected The most delicious food here . We had the the bacon wrapped dates, crab and lobster bisque, the ceviche, the salmon avocado BLT and the seafood paella. Everything was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it . I love the new decor the owner Sunny kept most of the old barn charm from when it was a small antique shop, cleaned it up and made things new and added some industrial decor feel. I was just browsing through Yelp today looking for someplace new to try, and Le P'tit just showed up. The reviews looked great, so we thought we'd give it a try. And my husband and I are so glad that we did!. The Yelpers did not lie! We both love sharing tapas, and this place is perfect! The chef/owner, Sunny, greeted us personally, took our orders, and made our drinks. It's a nice, intimate place, with a very rustic ambiance, being in a barn. In fact, we'd shopped here a number of years ago, when it was an antiques shop. But now that it's a 5-star restaurant, it's so much better! I enjoyed a delicious old fashioned (Le P'tit OF), which has cocoa added (amazing!), and my husband had the red sangria (perfect for tapas!). Along with these, we thoroughly enjoyed lamb meatballs, grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, peppers stuffed with seafood (warm and tasty, but not too hot), and bacon-wrapped dates. The dates were so good, that I found myself making yummy sounds the whole time I was eating them. This was a very enjoyable dining experience, and now that we've discovered Le P'tit, we'll be back again and again! read more

For a small dish and cozy atmosphere its a nice place. Pricing can vary but expensive for my taste compared to what you get. It has a specialty type food and not very filling and limited in many aspects. To me its a 1 and done trying experience. We tried the Lamb chorizo, Butter Chicken Meatballs, Bacon Wrapped Dates and the Pimento del piquillo. Everything was delicious! The meatballs were the highlight for me. Incredibly tender, creamy and flavorful. Just the right amount of heat. My husband said they were amaz-balls. If they recommend the dessert special - do yourself a favor and say yes. Nested amongst beautiful lush trees and gardens is a tapas (small plates/sharing) restaurant in an old historic building! Family owned and they are so caring and attentive to your tastes and needs! The owner himself served us and was just amazing to hear how the dishes were made and how they tasted! You don't get this level of service or quality of food in chain restaurants! I absolutely adore the owners Sunny and Mimi, and every restaurant they have blessed Bartlett with. These are amazingly talented, passionate, and kind people putting out great food, drinks, and customer experiences into the world. My first time at Le P'tit tonight for dessert and wine was as wonderful as I expected it to be and I will be back this week for a full meal. My daughter and I brought our puppy and dined on their beautifully arranged and wooded patio. Next time we will check out the beautiful dining room. Our waitress brought out a plate of olive oil with parmesan and black olives along with a couple pieces of warm, crusty bread to get us started. My daughter ordered a molten cake which was drizzled with caramel and I opted for a glass of red wine suggested by Sunny. She offered me a bite of the cake and I had to go back for several more. Definitely will order my own next time! Sharing is caring but not on our next trip, kid! My wine was delicious and I appreciated the recommendation on it! The menu is filled with so many things I need to try, from paella to butter chicken meatballs and so much in between. Everyone I've talked to loves this place. We tried this tapas place for the first time with some friends. The food was very good and a wide variety of items for different tastes. We had both the tomato soup and the crab/lobster bisque. Delicious, although the "sharing" concept was a little difficult - we scooped soup onto our slightly-dished plates, it would have been nice to have small bowls provided. The favorite dish of the evening was the bacon-wrapped dates, they were smoky, salty, sweet and indulgent. Service was attentive but unobtrusive, and the atmosphere was 'friendly-noisy'. I would have gone 4 1/2 if it was available ONLY because the food was not super hot when it came out and, come to think of it, the room temperature was a bit chilly. But forget both of those items because this place is a keeper. It feels like you've gone on vacation in Europe or Spain and found a secret locals only spot with amazing food and drinks. The 2 people we interacted with (I assume the owner and a wonderful, personable female server) were delightful and helpful. And, I would not call this a tapas place. They have grate assortment of normal entrees, and I would just call the other small plates appetizers. That's how it felt to me. My friend had a glass of wine and my wife and I had a couple of lemon drop martinis. Excellent drinks. Between the three of us we ordered the grilled calamari and the chicken meatballs. The meatballs were a 10. The calamari was a bit chewy but it was plated beautifully, and maybe it was just a less than perfect batch. For my entree, I ordered the pork chop with grilled brussell sprouts and mash potatoes. Excellent. My wife and friend split "deconstructed pastitsio" which had short ribs mixed in. It was very good.
