I would have gone 4 1/2 if it was available ONLY because the food was not super hot when it came out and, come to think of it, the room temperature was a bit chilly. But forget both of those items because this place is a keeper. It feels like you've gone on vacation in Europe or Spain and found a secret locals only spot with amazing food and drinks. The 2 people we interacted with (I assume the owner and a wonderful, personable female server) were delightful and helpful. And, I would not call this a tapas place. They have grate assortment of normal entrees, and I would just call the other small plates appetizers. That's how it felt to me. My friend had a glass of wine and my wife and I had a couple of lemon drop martinis. Excellent drinks. Between the three of us we ordered the grilled calamari and the chicken meatballs. The meatballs were a 10. The calamari was a bit chewy but it was plated beautifully, and maybe it was just a less than perfect batch. For my entree, I ordered the pork chop with grilled brussell sprouts and mash potatoes. Excellent. My wife and friend split "deconstructed pastitsio" which had short ribs mixed in. It was very good. We are definitely going back to try other dishes asap. read more

The chef is personable, came to our table and made tapas suggestions. Each dish was better than the last. Highly recommend the baked goat cheese (smooth goat cheese with seasoned) marinara sauce and truffle fries (fries well seasoned with Parmesan cheese and a sauce that is amazing). The gambas (shrimp) was cooked in a garlic and tasty herb sauce. Cheviche was just as it should taste with an outstanding lime sauce. Added veggies were potato and corn. Excellent choice! Rib eye slider was tender with sautéed onions...can't eat just one! Fun date night atmosphere. This place is not to miss! read more

Meant to write this a few weeks ago when we first tried this new restaurant. We are headed back this evening for a belated Valentines Dinner, thanks to the amazing experience we had last month. The food was amazing - so many beautifully complimenting flavors in each dish, great presentation, perfect portions. We started with the bacon wrapped dates which were delightful, then we split a bowl of the lobster crab bisque and the salad. I'm normally not a fan of Gorgonzola cheese but this dolce version on the salad was amazing. The salad was perfectly balanced in texture, depth of tastes, and I immediately knew I would be back just for this salad alone. The bisque was also delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. We moved on to a few of the tacos - each was seasoned well and had a good deal of meat and toppings within the tortilla. We had a few bites of the fillings with a fork before you could even pick it up to eat in a traditional taco style. Definitely a good deal for the price. The shrimp was my favorite while my husband favored the discada (meat lovers) We ended with the molten chocolate cake which was delicious but would have been better with a bit of ice cream served with it. I would order it again if it came with some ice cream on the side for some balance to the hot temp and density of the cake. My husband was happy to see the good selection of different beers for every taste and I enjoyed the red sangria. Ambience is cozy and perfect for a casual romantic dinner date or a place to meet up with friends to catch up. We were seated along the window looking outside and another couple were to our left. To our right, a few tables had been placed together and a group of women were enjoying cocktails and sharing dishes, appearing to be celebrating a birthday. The music was at a nice volume to add ambience without being too loud. The lighting throughout the building also added a casual, cozy vibe. Our server was helpful and knew when to approach the table to check on us. She answered our questions about the menu and cleared our table efficiently between our different courses. From our table along the front window, we saw the owner in action attempting to help a customer who had managed to get her car stuck in a snowbank along a far edge of the parking. The owner was helping her along with another customer and once they got her out, the owner bought a round of drinks for the customer and his girlfriend for his help. At the end of our dinner, he approached us to see how we had enjoyed our dining experience. He was friendly and genuine. We are glad to spend our time and money at a restaurant where care is taken from the decor to the food to how customers are treated. That is why when my husband asked me where I wanted to go for our belated valentines dinner, my first choice was this restaurant. Looking forward to many special dinners here with friends and family in the years to come! read more

I now tell all my friends & family about how amazing this place is. The waitstaff is awesome and I think I've met the chef a few times-- always welcoming and friendly. It reminds me of a little Italian cafe with the lights outside & music playing. It's first come first serve for outside seating but there's so many options/tables available outside. Their extremely flavorful menu included our pick of Short Rib Flatbread, Salmon salad and Lamb Meatballs on a beautiful Sunday evening eating under the tree canopy. Service was amazing! Sunny is the Chef who clearly loves what he does (thank you for your warm greeting to us- it made all the difference!). Went on Friday and ate inside since it was too cold to eat outside. Sangria was just ok and a bit over priced. Great food with lots of taste . The most memorable was the dates with bacon and it very rich . Staff was friendly and helpful with answering questions . One thing we noticed was the smell of the bathrooms when someone entered them. Do not if it's the chemicals they use to kill the smell but it kind of ruins the vibe. Will be back when it gets warmer to eat outside . read more

Looking for somewhere new to dine with a friend and found this little gem on Yelp! We visited on a Monday night and there was a steady stream of patrons. The service from Sonny was excellent. My friend and I had a lot of catching up to do and he knew just when to approach our table. We ordered cocktails and they were made perfectly. The tapas were divine! My favorite was the salmon blt slider - on my! The flavors combined were incredible. We also enjoyed the hummus, Spanish meatballs and ceviche. All so fresh, well prepared and delicious! Food is pretty good that is if you can get someone to take your order! Service is BAD. I've been there twice and each time we waited about 20 minutes before we had a server. We ordered drinks (after waiting 20 min) they brought drinks and didn't see our waitress for another 15-20 min. When we finally flagged her down we asked for our check and left.
