Oh my goodness. My wife and I were driving, on the way to a different pizza place. As we were driving by - my wife said "ooh- that place looks cute... " One U-turn later, we're sitting outside (under the awning, in a rain storm, having the best pizza and Chianti we've had in years (Lecci e Brocchi 2014 Classico). The price was good. This should, for all intents and purposes be a 5 star review, and apparently many yelpers feel that it is. Well here's my opinion. First, I was in West Palm Beach for work and staying over a couple of nights before my wife flying here and us going to Marco Island. If you want a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, keep driving because they don't serve that hear. Just real Italian food. I had the gnocchi with pesto sauce. Really good and a perfect portion. The couple kept stopping by to check on me. On the way out I had a pleasant conversation with the wife/ owner. So everyone gives this restaurant 5 stars so how dare I drop it to 4? They have a bar with a full selection of liquor, and a pizza oven. Over the bar is a big screen TV. You would think maybe for sports games, slides of their food, or of Italy. Maybe even the food channel. Nope, 55" of the "The Judge Jerry Show". That's right Jerry Springer is now "Judge Jerry". For me a big let down. That has to go. To me it takes away credibility . There are 3 different rooms you can sit in. The atmosphere is fair, the staff & owners are very friendly. The prices are more than most places. The food was very good. The baked clams $30 were very small, but good. We ordered a pasta for the 4 of us, it was very small. Then we ordered 2 veal Milanese dishes, $55 each. We wish the server told us how to order. One veal Milanese was enough for 4 people, we should of gotten a salad for the table and more pasta. The only thing we did not like was the bread. It was toasted pizza dough, no taste. Took my son to dinner we were craving pasta, waitress strongly suggested the black truffle pasta special - done table side with a musical presentation We ordered the beet salad and calamari appartizer to start both were very good. Dinner came out with a big hoopla of Italian music tambourines and happy service staff table side, the pasta was mixed in the top of a Parmesan wheel and twisted at round a few times , then sprayed with an aerosol can of truffle oil What?!!!! After the pasta was plated up and served the server comes over and shaved minuscule slices of truffle on top. Serving was very small and was cold , and extra Al dente sent back to have heated, when it returned the truffles disappeared. Batgirl and I joined where's my Roy Cohn and Mrs Cohn for a Saturday night adventure at Le Sorelle. We ate fairly good but certainly overpriced Italian food. Batgirl said the flair and flavor of everything was a little bland, however it's certainly not a bad kitchen. Agreed it's too loud and noisy. Roy Cohn took out a contract hit on the ridiculous uncle Fester who's playing guitar and when not annoyingly playing he drowns out our conversation with old Blue Eyes tunes from a speaker which was way to close to our table, nevertheless visitors to boca might find that charming. Our local hit man couldn't kill the guitarist as he was dining up the street @Positano. The overly chatty waiter needs to calm down. Over engaging diners might be charming to some. We found him annoying. He pushed a bottle of Barolo on Roy Cohn which Batgirl sent back as totally corked and acid sour. So to the food. Generally over priced. Bat girl and I shared Veal chop and pasta bolognese which was bland while Mr and Mrs Cohn ate Veal Milanese and Fettuccine Alfredo. Both went home with left overs for two days. Despite not ordering dessert, cheesecake, cannolis and other assorted cream filled desserts hit the table compliments of the house and middle sister owner and they were added to the doggie bags. In reviewing Le Sorelle Italian Restaurant in Boca Raton, I based this upon two very positive experiences. I found the restaurant to be homey and comfortable, with the service being very good. And as for the food, I found their cuisine to be exceptional. So far I've had their special Pizza Le Sorelle. The crust was soft and bread-like. And they were not stingy with the toppings! The flatbread was piled high with Mozzarell di Bufala, and flakes of Parmigiano Reggianio. Then once it was baked in the wood burning oven, the pizza was further topped with raw cherry tomatoes, fresh arugula, slices of Parma Prosciutto and olive oil. It was, in my opinion, one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted! On my second visit, I had the Risotto alla Pescatora. It was an outstanding Primi Piati course consisting of short-grained risotto rice, flavored with a light sauce made of high-quality Pomodori Pelati tomatoes, mixed with clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp and one whole langoustine lobster. This Mediterranean delicacy was so flavorful, with the taste of the sauce combining harmoniously with the flavors of the fresh seafood to create a wonderful experience for the palate. This was followed by their veal chop, a generous cut of tender meat, roasted in the wood-burning oven. Simply seasoned with salt, black pepper and olive oil, the exquisite flavor of the chop came shining through. This was sided with Broccoli di Rapa, flavored with whole garlic cloves, salt and olive oil. To go along with this dish, I ordered the Patate al Forno, a plate of well-seasoned roasted potatoes, flavored with rosemary, salt and olive oil. Naturally, I could not enjoy this luscious food without some fine Italian wine. They have an extensive wine list with vintages from Sicily, Sardinia, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Tuscany, as well as from other parts of Italy. To my delight, they had Primativo, which is my favorite wine. As mentioned, the service was very good, and with the friendly staff speaking Italian, it made my experience at Le Sorelle all the more authentic. I highly recommend Le Sorelle. But while the quality of the cuisine is superior to most other Italian restaurants I know of, it is still pretty expensive. But considering the generous sizes of the portions and the superiority of the food, it is worth the price. read more

Took my staff here for holiday dinner. I was so embarrassed I didn't try the place out first. I trusted the reviews. Where do I start? One waitress told us we needed to be done by 8:15 because that's when their next party was arriving. I didn't realize we rented the table lol. I asked waiter if calamari was fried, he replied "what does is say?" After that I was afraid to ask questions about menu. I asked for wine list twice and he insisted on me just telling him what I wanted because (he pointed to his head) he had it all up there. Well that's good for you, but I'd like to see my options and discuss with the table, no such luck. Entrees were mediocre. Dessert was amazing. And obviously service was off. I've been in Boca for 25-plus years, and this is our worst dining experience! From the moment we sat down I could see it was going to be a bad situation. The owner was at the front entrance screaming at his employee in Italian for five minutes almost getting into an altercation. We sat outside and The waitress didn't come to our table for 10 minutes and finally brought a small basket of bread with 6 bite-size pieces for 6 people. We had to find her for butter and oil, and we asked for more she said they had to bake it. The meal was sub-par and in the end, the bill came. They charge for Refills on Iced Tea and Coffee, when we questioned it they got belligerent. Then when we were leaving the staff gathered by the front entrance and started yelling out obscenities at us. The owner could not control his staff as they continued to yell. I confronted him and said it was unacceptable. He knew they were wrong and could see he was embarrassed. All ingredients are prepared fresh in house and only the finest imported ingredients are selected. I have never seen an entire Artichoke heart and stem place on top of my tomato pie with whole garlic cloves, mushrooms, more Artichoke hearts, buffalo mozzarella, and prosciutto di Parma. The service is great, atmosphere calming, and a menu that is outstanding, what more can you ask for. My wife and I decided to get out of Miami for the day and go North to Boca. She wanted to try a Italian restaurant she saw on Yelp. It was funny when we walk to the door to enter they started to joke with us. That was a breath of fresh air. We decided to sit at the bar. Eduardo was our server and he was so friendly and funny . He recommended several things to eat and we love it. Luigi was so nice . I asked who was the owner and they pointed to him and this lady. My wife and I felt as if we know everyone there even when this was our first time. The food was fantastic and atmosphere was so pleasant. We are very picky about where we eat. Le Sorelle has the absolute worst service and food possible. The "0wner" served us and he rudely stayed on the phone while he waited on us and for the entire hour and a half we were there. They had pepper grinders but they were not offered with our salads. The bill was wrong. The go-to portions of pizza were stuffed in a small metal and plastic container. The obscure and suspect wine was way over priced at $20+ per glass. When we asked to see the wine list he wouldn't show it to us. He said it was in his head. Last night was the first time I have been out since the pandemic. The atmosphere was very cozy..I felt like I was in Italy. The owner was warm and friendly. The place was very clean and I was completely comfortable eating there. First we started with a muscles and clam appetizer in a light red sauce. It had a delicious flavor. We then had there homemade pasta stuffed with a truffle and cheese mixture. Did I mention the pasta was homemade!!! Omg. The flavors were incredible. We had the life changing vealchop parm and bronzino piccata special, Vealchop Milanese, Ficohetti pasta with truffle cream, lasagna and bronzino in the salt.
