Came here to celebrate my friend's birthday . We weee ignored for awhile and I had to flag down someone to help. Not a great way to start. He brought us a bread basket which was nice. I ordered a chopped salad with grilled shrimp- and the others had the eggplant stack, tomato and bruschetta, and calamari. The food was decent. They don't do anything for a birthday - and we were very full. All I really wanted was a candle and whipped cream but sadly that couldn't be arranged!

Mother's Day eve and this place was packed. We had a reservation, which was good. The waitress was Bella and she did the best she could with a busy restaurant. The food was great, although I read the reviews on the veal Cutlet Parmesan and decided to form my own opinion honestly, I wouldn't order this dish at this restaurant again other than that everything was delicious

Judging by the crowd that was eating dinner and waiting for tables at Mario's, I expected the food and service to be excellent. And they both were! Reservations are a must, especially on the weekend in season. We went to Mario's with friends who dine here often. I now understand why they rave about it. Everything -- from the decor and ambiance, to the extensive menu filled with interesting and enticing Italian fare, to the superb service -- was top-notch. Even the prices were reasonable relative to other Italian restaurants. (Maybe I shouldn't say that because I don't want to encourage Mario's owner to increase the prices!) And the food portions are quite generous. Our friends shared a shrimp parmesan entree, and they took home a good-sized portion. I never heard of shrimp parm, but it looked and tasted delicious. My wife and I each had the chicken parmesan. Again, portion sizes were so large that we each took half of ours home for another meal. The chicken was tender, the sauce was tasty and pasta was excellent. Perhaps we didn't eat very much of our entrees because we gorged ourselves on the warm, yummy rolls. The assortment included soft breadsticks in addition to garlic and plain rolls. True comfort food! Our server was excellent. She patiently took our order and politely accommodated our requests for additional sauce and garlic oil for the rolls. She quickly refilled our drink glasses and was very pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Mario's and plan to return again soon to try some other menu items. Delicioso!

Mario's A long standing Boca classic with great food . I've lived here now for 28 years and I can remember waiting in line to get in to Mario's when they were in Glades Plaza. Nothing has changed except the location. Still amazing food, drinks and atmosphere... oh and yes... it's still crowded! Extensive menu with a little something for everyone. Chicken Parm is to die for and it's enough for two or take home the leftovers because it's just as good the next day. I met friends here for happy hour. It's been a while, every time I try to come early, it's so crowded but this time we got 4 seats at the high top table by the bar. It was nice. Since it's a long shared table we got to meet some nice people on both sides of us. Great deal here from 11:30 - 6. Half price drinks and food from the appetizer menu. We ordered Wings, Meatballs with peppers, Baked Clams, Mussels, Grilled Calamari and of course, not on the happy hour menu I had to order a chicken parm to take home. Everything was delish. You can always count on good food, good service and a good time here.

Great venue for family dinner or singles crowd. Bar was packed and restaurant was busy. Food served by DAVID was excellent and served hot and steamy. Portions were family style which we weren't aware of so we had plenty of leftovers. A MUST TRY SUPPORT LOCAL

Although I've been to many restaurants located on either side of this one, I'd never been here before nor did I know much about it. Shout out to Britt Z who told me they had a great happy hour and good food. As we were nearby, we stopped for lunch last week. We were "happy" to learn that in the bar(s)-- the outside one also -- and at the high tops near the bar--that they had half priced "happy hour" appetizers for lunch. My husband found a glass of New Zealand sauvignon blanc that he liked. And I enjoyed my iced tea. They brought out a mix of garlic and plain rolls to the table along with butter. We decided to choose 3 different appetizers and share. We had their baked stuffed clams oreganata. They were tiny but good. And the accompanying sauce was very tasty. My husband enjoyed dipping one of the rolls in the sauce. After the clams, we had their eggplant stack. This was excellent -- and our favorite of the three we chose. Thin, perfectly cooked eggplant that was layered with cheese and a non-acidic tomato sauce. Just delicious. We also had their anchovies. If this hadn't been half price, we'd have felt the dish wasn't worth the money. But we do like anchovies -- which were served cold along with 6 marinated olives, 3 hot red peppers, 3 pieces of toasted bread, and a few celery pieces. It was our least favorite, but we still liked it -- even though we wouldn't order this again. Can't wait to come back here (may be with Britt?) to have the eggplant again and to try some more of their menu.

A friend recommended this place for food and Happy Hour lunches, (thank you Brit!) Welcoming atmosphere and prompt service we sat at a high top adjacent to the inside bar. I chose a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Whitehaven, and we decided on the short stack of Eggplant, Anchovies and Clams as our lunch dishes. We enjoyed our garlic rolls while waiting. Our Food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and each dish was delicious. The sauce with the clams was a nice citrus garlicky delight. The Anchovies had a nice brushing of citrus olive oil and the eggplant was served in a tomato sauce in thin tender slices and cheese, like an eggplant parmesan dish...delicious! Thanks again Brit!

The place was mobbed from 5:30 to 8pm. The decor is warm and modern. We were sat at large booth surrounded on 3 sides by noise blocking glass and a large overhead lamp shade that reminded us of Get Smart's "cone of silence." It was still quite noisy, but at least we could hear each other. Our waiter was warm, friendly, and helpful in explaining the specials and menu options. Before our meal, he brought freshly baked rolls, garlic rolls, and breadsticks. The lasagna, chicken piccata, and Veal chop special on the bone were throughly enjoyed. The grilled shrimp and vegetables (Barbaresco) was loaded with delicious steamed vegetables, but the shrimp were too salty. The Tailgate Chicken was okay - only order this if you love cooked red peppers. Unfortunately, the restaurant felt understaffed. There were very long pauses between appetizers and mains, and the waiter had to do the job of bussing.

I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. What I liked best was the fried calamari, arancini (sauce is on the outside) the spaghetti, the marinara sauce. I hate that they call their sauce gravy. Mashed potatoes, and the veal cutlet was great although my daughter ordered the regular one and pointed to it but the switched it to the bone in. We worked it out. The tiramisu is just extra sweet cream with so much cocoa powder on top. I like a lot but this was too much.

Upon arrival you can get your car valeted. The valet is free you just have to tip. We went on a Thursday night and did not have reservations. However they prioritize reservations. We requested a booth and was seated fairly quickly. On server came right to us and She was polite and very accommodating. She made our experience and I give her 10s across the board. The food came out super quick. I had the anchovies. I was slightly disappointed at the celery. It was not fresh, but the dish was amazing without it. I also ordered a short rib dinner with mashed potato and veggies. I also paired it with a pear martini. We also got a cheese pizza for the table. The food was absolutely amazing. The portions were huge. Definitely big enough to eat family style and the prices were amazing. Everything was fantastic. I would definitely be coming here again to try more things on the menu.

Crowded for a reason this place is in a relatively non-descriptive shopping plaza with lots of food options. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is excellent. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. The Wade staff was attentive and appreciative.

This was a fun meetup on a Saturday for lunch. I was conflicted between their pizza or a lunch entree. We started out with an order of garlic bread and a few Stella's while we delved into indecision. Weather took a rainy turn which got me in the mood for some soup. I went with the lunch combo which came with a cup of pasta fagioli and vodka rigatoni. Perfect light combo to remain productive. The rest of the table ordered a salad, lasagna, and a pizza with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms. The pizza was the clear winner -- perfect for 2 with a salad or aperitif. Great time and festively decorated.

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

There is an extensive wine list, with many by the glass along with crafted martinis & cocktails. Joshua waited on us, he was on point. How it sits us at a booth directly next to the bar which had been empty since we arrived that 40 minutes earlier. Seriously? In the meantime, the bar overflowed with the usual selection of Boca, babes, and pretentious men with bad rugs. Service was good, however, and the food was definitely B or a Level,, in fact, my French Dip sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. My dining partner could barely finish their fish sandwich due to it's sheer size. It is worth mentioning that the menu definitely comes at a price point higher than most chain restaurants. If they can only provide the dining experience without all of the locals who jammed the place and carrying on conversations as loudly as they can, you really have something.
