If there were more stars to give, we would give it to them! We were a group of 9 with 5 kids and 4 adults. It was a perfect experience for both the children and the adults. Highly recommend the wine and cheese tasting. Walt was patient and gave utmost attention to us. He explained well, answered all our questions and even brought specials for us to try responding to our interests. They were specially attentive to the kids and entertained them. The wine selections were great and perfectly paired with the cheese. The food was equally great (pizza, pasta and specially the patte). We bought Rose but if we hadn't just bought some wine before we arrived there, we would have bought more. The live music was high quality and blew me away with the selection of their songs. Finally, this is a family owned place and the owners come and greet you personally. I will highly recommend the place to my friends and will come back again for sure! Came here for a private and awesome tasting and tour. Unassuming winery with an amazing stable of incredible wines. This vintner is something special. The wines surprise and delight. The cheese pairing was more than over the top and our guide, Pat, was knowledgable, funny and due to her experience had us all totally captivated. We were even able to meet the vintner and workers. What a lovely and happy group. I can't easily describe the wines but they are complex and surprisingly different. Their Sauvignon blanc a must try! All the reds perfect on the palate. How did I not know about Le Vigne until this past weekend? This was our last stop of a bachelorette party tasting tour and was my favorite! We were invited to add on the cheese tasting and what a fantastic idea that was. We were given pizza and dessert....oh wow to both! The room was comfortably cooled for the high outdoor temps (108!). Special mention to Daniel who made sure we were excellently taken care of! Loved it all so much I joined and cannot wait for the October pick up. This is my favorite winery to visit in Paso Robles! I love their wine and cheese pairings. This is my husband's and my third year visiting them, and we have enjoyed every experience. We have loved every wine of theirs that we have tried, and have brought home a variety from whites to reds. If you like cheese like I do, they always have the most unique cheeses that they pair perfectly with each wine. Oh, and they're dog friendly if you want to bring your pup. I am a fan of Paso Robles wines, though in my opinion most of the quality wines come from the Vineyards west of the 101...or so I thought! Le Vigne produces some very nice wines at reasonable prices. Plus, their tasting room is comfortable and staff friendly and inviting. Plus, they are a kid friendly establishment! The highlight, however, is their cheese / wine pairing flight. I recommend that approach and then maybe taking them up on a wine flight, and enjoy a glass (or bottle) of your favorite on their shaded patio. Just to complete the review ... they have an "unfriendly" swan on site and an old train car which is something different to see. read more

We arrived on a rainy day, they were able to accommodate us without a reservation which was a pleasant surprise. They had moved to the tasting inside I'm assuming due to weather. The tasting host was very overwhelmed and although apologetic our experience was lackluster. The nice difference to this tasting room was the cheese pairing, ending with a small plate dessert. Le Vigne was not as good as I was hoping, but not as bad as some of the other wineries. I'd give it a 2.5 if that was possible. We tried two tastings, one of them with the cheese pairing. The server was friendly and knowledgable, and we were the only guests, so she didn't have any distractions. We left with two bottles of Malbec and a chunk of the Holy Cow Creamy Swiss cheese... so that just about summarizes the middle-of-the-road experience we had here. (I had asked if we could sample the Petit Verdot, but the server said no) Detailed notes: Out of Tannat and not pouring Petit verdot. Sav Blanc is good, Viognier is not good. Peacock farm cheeses are good. Sangiovese isn't so good. Zin isn't good. Granache isn't good. Syrah is ok, Malbec is the best so far. Nikiara blend is mostly cab and good. Malbec is best. 2014 Cab is good but not worth a bottle. read more

On March 19, 2022 I attended the Spring Release Winemaker Dinner. Despite having to deal with terrible weather, downpour of rain during part the event, the staff managed to provide service with a smile and grace, unlike other events I have attended. We have gone to this winery twice. Its bit off the beaten path. We also come here for he wine and cheese pairing. The cheese at this place is amazing. The red wines are solid. I have enjoyed several bottles of there's. Some are just ok but some are very good. What really gets us to this winery is the cheese. We will continue to come back. My wife was in Paso Robles about a month ago with my sisters for a girls trip and told me she needed to bring me back just to come to the wine and cheese pairing at Le Vigne. Specifically in hopes Pat would be working. My wife could not say enough nice things about Pat after her first trip. Pat's knowledge, her passion for teaching about the wine and cheese, and mostly because of her very friendly and engaging demeanor. We arrived on Saturday and we were immediately greeted by the one and only Pat. She was busy helping two other groups but made a point to greet us with a big smile. She invited us to the tasting bar and that started our fantastic experience. I could see why my wife was so excited to return. I watched different staff members interact with guest and was so impressed by the atmosphere created by their energy. Pat introduced us to some excellent wines that of course we left with along with a membership. The fact that we live 4-6 hours away depending on traffic but signed up so we could return on a regular basis is a direct reflection on all your staff but especially Pat. We had a chance to meet the new winemaker Terry (and his dog of course) who greeted us with a big smile and a hug. We spoke with Jeremy during our time there who was very enjoyable and friendly. I wish I caught the name on the other gentleman who was helping another group. He was extremely high energy and kept his group very entertained. His energy and excitement was infectious. What I would like to leave you with in this email is your staff is the reason we had such a great time and the reason we joined the wine club with the anticipation of traveling north on a regular basis just to come to Le Vigne. The wine is fantastic, the cheese amazing, and the location beautiful. However, it was your team that made the difference from a nice experience to an amazing one. This is one of our go to every trip. Pat makes our trip. We are members, it has been well worth it. Pat is so knowledgeable about the wines, cheese and winery. Chef Walter's food is like no other. 2-13 I had a great time with from Le Vigne. My mom ordered the Valentine's menu for 6 people. (we had my dad's work friends spend the night). Starting of the day on Saturday is me and mom went to Le Vigne winery. The drive to the winery was amazing as the road had a bridge and all of the farms and grapevines was very awesome. As we got to Le Vigne, I was impressed that the whole place looked good from the outside. When me and mom went inside, I was impressed of the place from the wine to all the food in the fridge in which cheese go in. They had the distillery in the back that was open. After paying, I got the wine that my parents have from this place because they are members and we got a couple of more wines. As I opened up the car, the person had a dog in which was a border collie. This dog was very friendly to people. As my mom and the other workers got the food in the back of the car, we were good to go. After me and mom got back home, we have unpacked the car and put the food on the counter of the kitchen. As my mom opened the bag, there was tiramisu, shrimp, ravioli, and a chicken dish. Later in the evening, we started to have our dinner. We started with the 1st course which was Gamberoni Con Caponata Sicilian which was a crunchy jumbo black tiger shrimp and spicy Sicilian country style roasted veggies. I only had a bit of the stuff, but had the shrimp with the sauce. The shrimp had great texture and with the sauce as well. We then went on the 2nd course in which it was 2 meals. We had the Ravioletti Di Formaggio Al Forno and the Fricassea Di Gallinella nostrana. The Ravioletti Di Formaggio Al Forno was a baked tiny tender 5 cheese ravioli with steamed fresh asparagus. That was an amazing dish and I had seconds on it. Really delicious. The 2nd was the Fricassea Di Gallinella nostrana and it was an organic chicken, bella mushrooms braised in le vigne chardonnay reduction. It was good, but the ravioli was better. My parents and my dad's work friends had the Tirami-Su Innamorato which is a delicate homade Tirami-Su just for lovers. I really enjoyed visiting this winery for a couple reasons. First, they have food sampling/pairings with their wines. This makes me happy because wine should be an experience, so incorporating other flavors to bring out their wine varietals is a great call. We had the option to pair with either 5 chocolates with 5 wines or 5 cheeses with 5 wines. What do you do when you can't decide? Do both! We enjoyed both pairings and they all were quite tasty and amazing. You like the cheese they offer? No problem, they have a cold case that houses all the cheeses you try and then some. With that being said, another reason? The staff is knowledgable about their wines, their vineyards and what works with what kind of pallete. It was an overall great experience because of this tiny detail. Knowledge goes a long way in selling your product. When you are done sampling or need to take a breather, just linger around their location. They have a bunch of locally grown or created snacks, paninis for lunch or you can sample their in house olive oil. And if you don't try it, you are missing out. This is one of the best olive oils i have had and I wish i bought more. It's so rich and fantastic - it makes for fantastic snacking, not cooking. So I went here about two weeks ago and promised myself that I would review. It was the first winery in Paso Robles that I went to. The winery was supposed to close at 5:00pm. My husband and I showed up at 4:40pm. When we walked instead of rushing us, the guy at the front welcomed us in and made us feel welcomed. He suggested the wine and cheese pairing. It was super fun and I learned a lot. I ended up purchasing two bottles of wine (sangiovese) which I had never tried before. I am not a wine expert but I know I do not like super dry wines. This was delicious. Oh and I bought to of the cheeses that we sampled. At the end they threw in a free cheese board and a little cooler bag for the cheese. This is a hidden gem just east of Paso Robles off of Hwy 46. My wife and I have been going there for wine tasting and lunch (served Sat & Sun only) for the past 2 years. They only charge minimal amount for tasting ($10) for very good wines, and you can pair with gourmet cheeses for $5. Our recent visit was to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Wine steward Pat had prepared a special table for us with a personal card and an orchid, which is one of my wife's favorite flowers. Chef Walter's vegetable pizza, baby green salad with calamari, and stuffed puff pastry accompanied by Carponata were delicioso and made with fresh ingredients. I had a good time here. Our server seemed very knowledgeable about food and wine pairings. It was nice to actually try some wine with something other than the dark chocolates that all the wineries have. You can actually do a wine and cheese pairing or a wine and chocolate pairing here. We did both. The cheese was really good on its own though(cheese lover) lol, I'm really not much of a chocolate lover but the pairs went well together. And it was all great, she really helped bring the varietal flavors through with the pairings. We bought wine here, of course. They also sell cheeses, olive oils and all kinds of other wine related knick knacks. It also offers deli selections, cheeses, gelato as well as the usual nibbling. A found the prices were very reasonable. They offer complimentary tastings of a few wines of their choosing. You can also go for the 5.00 wine tasting with has several options. They also have a 10.00 tasting that includes cheese pairings and you get a free wood board. Nice.
