Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. Shout out to Christian, Omar, and the rest of the crew whose names I absolutely should have written down -- I'm sorry, you all deserved better from me. Meticulous. Professional. Health-conscious. The only reason I even went with them was because of the impressive plumber I met with that recommended them. They came that night and helped initiate the process of drying the next day. Noah Lopez was the rep and was my contact initially. I saw 3 restoration companies that day and 3 plumbers so I had a decent idea how of much water damage, estimated time of deconstruction and reconstruction. A lot of companies get a bad reputation because they try and tear up as much as possible and I thought Express Dry was different but I was proven wrong. After a few days of drying, they all of a sudden discovered that my tiles were 30-99% saturated and they had to rip them up which would add another 2 weeks of work. I was confused on how this was NOT spotted initially by them or any other company I saw that initial day of interviewing. Everyone commented on how I should be lucky that the tiles didn't get wet. So obviously I called BS on them. They tried several scare tactics by having me sign some hand written statement that I would be liable and having multiple try and convince me to remove the tiles. Thank God I got a second opinion and had an outside company return to check for water damage and they too once again confirmed that tiles weren't wet and even if they were, there are other options that don't involve tearing up the tile. I thought I was getting a company that looked out for me but they were obviously looking to rip off the insurance company and make money for them. Noah tried to convince me not to contact my insurance company myself and he would do it all for me but I'll glad I called my insurance while he was present. I think that made him upset because after that, he went from being pleasant to being irritated, especially after the process began and I attempted to contact him. There were other things they did that also rubbed me the wrong way but I don't want to get anyone fired. Just another example of how can't even trust people to have some decency, even in 2026

Alex and Marcus (i am not sure of the names, but hopefully I got it right) did the drywall/patching of the mess of my kitchen. Then the cabinet team finished it off, painted everything exactly matching the original paint, and put all the appliances back where they belonged. The kitchen looked brand new, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. The timeline was as first estimated. If there were any issues, Jim took care of it! That…read moresaid, accidents happen, like maybe you're fooling around near the side of your house and you gently tap the "inspector's test valve" for your sprinkler system. Suddenly all heck breaks loose and you've now got several walls full of water. After realizing exactly what I had done (the fire alarm helped me understand), I called around all the big name companies that do this sort of water damage repair. The quotes I got were ridiculously HIGH. I decided to go local and gave Moe and his team (read: family) a call. Not only could they fit me into their schedule quickly, but they are also a one stop shop, meaning, when they leave your house, it looks just like it did before you broke your sprinkler pipe. Most of those big name companies require you to get someone else to do the drywall/painting part. All the Mold Safe guys that worked on the job were not only related to each other, they were also great workers and great people. They kept everything clean and showed up when they said they would. They kept me in the loop as to what was being done and explained anything I asked questions about. They dried the walls, cut out and replaced the wet drywall and added the matching orange peel texture when they did the final painting. Color matched, perfect finish. And when Ted was finished fixing the hole in the stucco left by the sprinkler system guy (yeah, it has to be a certified professional who fixes anything to do with your sprinkler system, not just any plumber), he went around my house with the left over spackle and fixed several other stucco dings in my house. Above and beyond. Like I said at the beginning, you really don't want to ever have to call these guys, but if you do find yourself in this sort of a situation, don't risk the mold, just call Moe. There's a reason they have dozens and dozens of 5 star reviews here. Highly recommended.

Chase came by the same day to assess the damage and had an estimate ready the very next day. I found the estimate and statement of work to be very professional and reasonable, and accepted it right away. Ted came and performed the work in multiple stages within the same week - demolition and clean-out, drywall replacement, and painting. He was thorough and searched for and treated mold in the carpet, along the walls, and even in the ceiling. Ted was very respectful to us and responsible, and was very knowledgeable. I felt peace of mind that our home would be in good shape thanks to Ted's quality of work. Micah also came with Ted one of the days and was also respectful, skillful and efficient. Gianna from the office was also very responsive and helpful. My wife told me she was impressed with how thorough Ted was. For example, he created a plastic wall to seal off the work area and prevented the rest of the bedroom from getting contaminated and dirty. Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

We've used Leak Star Advanced Leak Detection twice and are very happy with the work done by the owner, Timo. He responds quickly, is prompt, courteous and conscientious, and definitely knows what he is doing. In 2016, our main water line from the street into the house sprung a leak. Timo jackhammered out part of our walkway, replaced the old plastic plumbing with plastic sleeved copper pipe, and poured a new concrete walkway. In October 2017, the pressure regulator for the main line cracked and caused a slow leak inside the garage. I called Timo and he asked me to send him some photos of the problem. He came out the next day, removed some drywall and replaced the regulator all in about an hour. read more

I have used Timo on two different occasions, and both have been very good experiences. I originally contacted him for a slab leak on a rental property, which was a time sensitive situation and he fixed it on a short notice and did a great job. I decided later on to repipe the whole house and, after bidding it out to other plumbing contractors, I decided to rehire Timo and he finished the project on time, was really clean and even helped me with a leaking toilet that he discovered which was not in his scope. Honestly, I wish I wasn't experienced in dealing with water issues occurring at my home. Three…read moretimes, I had to navigate around emergency water situations with our first one being a slab leak, our second being a leaking water heater, and our most recent episode being a sudden burst of water from one of our upstairs toilets. For all three emergencies, I called All American Plumbing to look at the issues and for the first two water issues, American Response Team was the mitigation company that handled the drying out of the water and other abatement issues. For this third emergency All American Dry Out came out and it was great to hear that they are part of All American Plumbing, so God forbid I have another water emergency, I'll only need to go through All American Plumbing to handle everything. Jonathon from All American Dry Out was a really good dude to work with, which doesn't surprise me considering that I haven't had any issues with any of the personnel from All American Plumbing. I'm a Veteran of these water emergencies at our home and I honestly wish I never experienced any of the problems we encountered. Since I dealt with All American Plumbing for the previous two issues, I knew who I was going to call after my wife informed me that we had bubbling on our downstairs ceiling and water coming from our ceiling after she popped the bubble. This emergency happened on a Saturday evening, so I knew that I'd be calling All American Plumbing Monday morning. All American Plumbing is located in Poway, CA and based on my previous dealings with them, they send a team to address our emergency pretty quickly. I contacted Rachel on Monday, who I believe is part owner of the company, and she scheduled a mitigation company to come out first thing Tuesday morning and plumbers to come out after the mitigation company. On Tuesday morning, I met Jonathon from All American Dry Out. It was great to hear from Jonathon that All American Dry Out was part of All American Plumbing and that he had previously worked for American Response Team, but moved over once he heard All American Plumbing would be handling their own mitigation responsibilities. Jonathon handled everything by coordinating a team to set up drying machines for the water, coordinating with an environment company to determine if we had asbestos, calling a pack out company to remove our household goods, and working with my insurance for payment. Having to deal with emergency water damage is very stressful, but Jonathon's professionalism, communication, and responsiveness made our situation less stressful. Anytime I had a question and either called or texted Jonathon, he quickly answered my question. Jonathon even set up a lock box where we could place keys there for the contractors, so that they had access to our home without us needing to be there while work was being done to our home. For the initial mitigation and abatement of this water problem, All American Dry Out quickly addressed what needed to be done before the other things that still need to be worked on. When I had to deal with the two water issues at our home years ago, I had to work with two different companies for the mitigation and the plumbing. With All American Plumbing having their own mitigation segment called All American Dry Out, it was great working with just one company and it was a blessing to work with another good dude, who made a stressful situation not as stressful.
