I first got to have mangrove during last summer, I went out for breakfast with my sister, and we stopped here on a whim. The kaosoi soup was out of this world. It was so rich in flavor and the spice was perfect, really coconutty and a beautiful curry base. I had so much that I was able to eat it again for dinner. I ordered a cup of rice to dip into the soup. The Thai fried rice was also delicious. It has a seafood base which tasted amazing with all of the citrus and to finish off our meal we had hot ginseng tea, which I'm surprised I haven't tried sooner because I love herbal teas. It has now been added to my shopping cart because ginseng has such a full body flavor that I can't get enough of it! The way they decorated this was adorable, the owner's personality really comes out in the way they set up the place. There's a lot of seating, but I don't think it would be good for a group bigger than four. The customer service is also great. This little diner is small but the food I got there was really good. I picked up several dishes to go and everyone really liked what they got. The kitchen was pretty quick, the cashier was attentive and answered all my questions about their vegetarian dishes. I didn't stay in the diner, but while I waited for my order I waited outside because the temp inside was awfully cold for me.
