    Vegi Bee
    Carlie L.

I've been wanting to stop here and get lunch for a while. I ordered the Vegi Bee on rye bread, added cheddar cheese + creamy horseradish spread. The ingredients were so fresh and it was an overall great sandwich, but next time I won't get the horseradish - it was way hotter than I (and my sinuses) anticipated. An employee brought out a sample of their house baked beans and they were so good! I'll definitely return to try more of their food.

Rancher bee, sub the lettuce with sprouts and add pickles

Never tried this place until now, I did have high expectations based off of their reviews but unfortunately this was a miss for me. When I walked in every single employee in there was so friendly and very welcoming which was refreshing. I ordered the rancher bee and added pepperoni to it for an additional $1.50. I had it with no tomato or lettuce but added sprouts and pickles. The sandwhich was honestly not very flavorful and they put 1 single piece of pepperoni on the sandwhich, they are deli size but still should have came with 2-3 for $1.50 uncharge. For $9 for a half sandwhich i expected more meat and flavor. I tried the meats by themselves and they just aren't as good as other places. I feel bad for saying this with how sweet the staff was but it's the truth for my experience. I added a broccoli cheese soup as a side and that was good, typical sandwhich shop broccoli soup, but it was decent. I spend $15 for the half sandwhich and soup and that was a bit pricey for what I received. Sadly I don't think I'll be back because of this experience but clearly many others love this place so I'm sure they'll do just fine with my 3 stars lol.

First time at Hungree Bee was such a treat! We were greeted by the delightful RJ who explained the sandwiches, bread and sides. I loved the Cran Bee (turkey, cream cheese, stuffing and cranberry sauce) on French bread. Turns out I'm a huge fan of cream cheese and cranberry sauce on a turkey sandwich but not a fan of stuffing on a sandwich, so I took that home and reheated it later. My buddy had the Busy Bee (roast beef, pepperjack, pepperoncini, apple, lettuce, tomato, mayo, balsamic glaze) on swirled rye, perfection, no adjustments. We even received little bees when we left. Canned and bottled beverages are available for purchase along with chips. I enjoyed a frosty diet Dr Pepper.

    Queen Bee to go.

I've been hearing lots of great things about this shop and have wanted to drop in for lunch. It finally worked out and I'm so glad it did. These are super friendly folks in a very clean shop, making outstanding sandwiches. I had the whole Queen Bee to go and it was absolutely huge. They put in a load of ruffles chips, some pickle spears and a piece of candy along side the sandwich. The rye bread I had it made with was really good, and they stuff it with quality meats and veggies. I also had a sample of the baked beans and will be ordering some of that the next go around as well. Well worth a drop in for a quality sammy.

Very clean and neat place inside. Super nice staff and insanely great food. I got the special roast beef, sprouts, cucumbers, cream cheese, creamy horseradish on sourdough and it was so good. Can't wait to come back.

Great service! Nice portions! A bit out of the way unless you're already in the neighborhood but love a good non-chain place to eat.

The planets aligned yesterday and we finally made it to Hungree Bee Sandwiches. The experience was exceptional! Their sandwiches are among the best we've ever had. The freshly baked local bread, outstanding service, and impeccable cleanliness were a great first impression. The 'half' turkey sandwich, which was surprisingly large, was only $6.99 and included a pickle and a generous serving of chips. As we waited for our order, they brought us a sample of their delicious beans. We only wish we lived closer and they were open weekends...but for more of their outstanding sandwiches we will gladly make the drive and rearrange schedules if need BEE!

Food was great. Needed to go boxes because the sandwiches are so big.

I stopped in for lunch and I was the only customer at this new little sandwich shop. I found a super-clean shop with very friendly staff and an excellent sandwich! I will be back and I'm telling my friends about this great, new, local business.

We arrived about a half hour after they opened and I felt they were already getting kinda busy. Took a look at the menu and The Deadliest Catch immediately caught my eye and I went with that and added provolone cheese for an extra .75 cents, which isn't bad at all. My roommate ordered The Barnyard. I told the voisterous jolly gentlemen taking our order that it was our first time here and he suggested we sit out back on the patio. Loved his suggestion! The patio was really nice and spacious and it was a beautiful day to enjoy it. Now the winner of the day, was my tuna sandwich--it was, hands down, THE BEST and MOST FRESHEST albacore I've had in a long time. The quality of their tuna is outstanding compared to many other places I've tried. The veggies were also fresh and crisp--and the cheese I added? Sooo thick and good, not that paper thin kind you sometimes get. Totally worth the .75 cents! Not to mention, the sandwich was huge and on the freshest yummiest sourdough that they bake in-house. My roommate also loved the fresh baked bread and said his sandwich was great. I took a peep and it was loaded with a mountain of turkey. Vibe and ambiance was relaxing outside and all around the service was awesome. I even told the jolly man how good his tuna was--I'm an instant fan and definitely will be back!

The veggies are crisp and the grilled panini bread it's served on is so delicious. My roommate ordered the French Dip and he said my pic doesn't do justice compared to its awesome tastiness...he was so impressed and enamored with the quality of meat that he didn't really need the au ju--which is unheard for my roommate lol. On another note, they offer a ton of hot sauces and I tried, Melinda's Ghost Pepper, and it was so fiery good that I'm gonna find myself some. If you like heat, try it! I was in absolutely no mood for Olive garden but thought Spokane might have some nice country fried steak. Did a quick Google search and this place came up. The steak portion size was super generous and it was covered with gravy. I cleaned up my plate. This dish was perfect. I got the eggs, biscuit and slaw ( did some subs) and they didn't disappoint as well. This is a small, probably family managed place. Don't expect anything fancy and all that jazz. Hangry's is in my pasture--my neck of the woods--and because of that, I want it to win. When Hangry's first opened, I remember lifting my head from the grass and thinking, Now that's something different. A small, independent burger stop with real personality. Not a franchise. Not a copy-and-paste joint. Real food, real effort, real care. Burgers with heft. Flavors with backbone. Portions that didn't insult a full-grown cow like myself. There was pride in the grill and warmth behind the counter. You could feel it. That's why this is hard to chew on. The food is still good. Let me be clear--I'm not saying it's bad. But the spark has dulled. The uniqueness that once set Hangry's apart has lost some of its flavor. The service doesn't carry the same energy it once did. There's a tension in the air now, a kind of hangry mood that doesn't come from hunger, but from strain. It feels less like a place excited to serve, and more like a place trying to survive. And that worries me. Because I don't want Hangry's to become just another Zip's. Another forgettable stop where burgers are churned out without soul. This place was never meant to be that. It was meant to be a friendly, fun, neighborhood joint--high quality, generous portions, bold flavor, and people who cared deeply about what they put on the plate and how they handed it across the counter. I know running a business is hard. Even a cow understands that. Starting strong is one thing; staying sharp is another. Motivation fades. Criticism piles up. The grind wears you down. But the answer isn't to lower the bar--it's to return to the basics. To remember who you were when you started. To cook like you still have something to prove. To serve like every customer matters, because they do. Hangry's doesn't need to reinvent itself. It needs to refocus. Quality first. Pride back in the process. Fresh eyes on the food. Confidence instead of survival mode. If that happens, this place won't just hang on--it will thrive. This bull is rooting for you. You're in my pasture, and I want you here for a long time. Get back to your roots, sharpen your edge, and remind us why we noticed you in the first place. This cow is all in.
