Beef stew with arroz con gandules
    Trish C.

GOod bang for your buck and delicious to go with it. We have passed by a few times and decided to finally stop in. I regret not doing it sooner. The beef stew with potatoes brought back childhood memories and was very tasty. It could use some additional heat and then it would be perfect.

    Great price with huge portions.

Visited this restaurant around 2 PM during a Saturday afternoon. Nice huge portion of food with very reasonable price. Like all the other Hispanic cafeterias, I was overwhelmed by the number of choices of food on the steamed table. However, their service was very friendly with both English and Spanish. They would answer any question about their food. I even got to learn about the difference between Dominican and Peruvian fried rice. I was very happy that I ordered the Budin de Pan. One of the best bread pudding I ever had. Not overly sweet but very flavorful. I will visit this restaurant again just to try all their other desserts.

If you know you want Hispanic food, but don't know WHAT specifically, THIS is your go-to. It's got many options to order, you won't leave disappointed. Who doesn't HATE when that happens? It's a small-ish, cozy, chill spot. You can tell, taste that the food was made with pure knowledge & care formaking the customer happy. This is a picture of my Carne Encebollado, Arroz con Gandulees, Yuca (Meat with Onion, Rice with Pigeon Peas, Cassava) & Pure Leaf Raspberry tea. Also, you get a LOT of "bang for your buck". If you're not "Starvin' Marvin", you'll have plenty of leftovers. Just reheat it, you have another meal right there. It's a double-whammy.

I really enjoyed this place. I called before coming in and the employees were so nice! When you first walk in you see the menu and there's signs of how much the lunch special is. The food is super traditional Hispanic food. I loved everything that was in my plate. You get a choice of rice, a protein and a side for the lunch plate. They serve a lot! Everything was very clean, and they were pretty fast. will definitely be coming back :)

Wow! This place is amazing. Great customer service, felt like I was going to eat at an uncle's house The food was super authentic. Fast service and great portions for the price. Everything was extremely flavorful. I will definitely be back!

I have been here a number of times and couldn't tell you all the different dishes I've tried from their buffet style ordering platform. But I will tell you they've all been great! First of all, this place is hopping, so that's always a good sign. You walk in and can ask for a to go meal (that's what I do) and then you pick your rice (which changes everyday and let's you try all sorts of different styles without getting boring), your meat (again, they're all good, so don't spend too much time trying to decide and instead just close your eyes and pick) and then your side. I'm not sure what it is that I get, ground plantains or something that looks like mashed potatoes, but I get it whenever I can because it is sooooooo good!! Make sure to ask for their garlic sauce and they'll give you some in a little condiment container because just a little off that makes this dish beyond addictive. I tried one of the sandwiches for the first time today - the Cuban - and that was possibly one of the best I've had. Very well flavored and not at all dry. Definitely recommend!!

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

This is the real deal: thin-sliced ribeye chopped on the griddle with perfect browning, Cooper Sharp melting like it's supposed to, fresh Amaroso rolls flown in from Philly that actually have the right chew and crust. Place is small, family-run local business. If you grew up in the Philly burbs or just know what a proper cheesesteak is supposed to taste like, do yourself a favor and get over to Winter Garden. Easily the best cheesesteak in Central Florida, full stop. Already planning my next trip. TL;DR: South Jersey/Philly expats, your search is over. Go. Now. Bring napkins.

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

We ordered at the counter and they were out of sweet potato fries, cranberry walnut bread, no blue cheese. She gave us very little ice and we ask someone else for an extra glass partially filled. They wouldn't accept my $100 bill. There was a full house with plenty money in the drawer. But we used a credit card for more money and less tip. The chicken salad was dry and had no pecans in it. The potato salad was a little bland. My buffalo chicken wrap had maybe a 1/4 of a chicken breast in it. It was a good wrap but lots of lettuce and wrap. Poor management.

I placed a pickup order and even pre-tipped, but when I walked in there were only a handful of people in the shop. I stood at the pickup counter for about 15 seconds while multiple employees watched me come in, yet no one acknowledged me, greeted me, or asked if I was there for an order. I eventually had to get someone's attention just to receive my pickup. It's a very small store, only a few feet from the entrance to the counter, so it felt strange to be ignored. To make matters worse, my bagel appeared to be underbaked. The inside was pale, dense, and doughy instead of the chewy texture you'd expect from a freshly baked bagel. I understand that mistakes happen, but combined with the lack of basic customer service, it made for a frustrating experience. I really do love Jeff's Bagel Run, which is why this is disappointing to write. Great food can only carry a business so far. Friendly service and consistent quality are what keep customers coming back, and I hope they address both before more loyal customers start looking elsewhere.
