Since I went on a Saturday I felt compelled to do the cheese wheel experience. Where they cook fettuccine pasta inside a giant wheel of cheese. Added a protein option as well for a lil more substance as well. The dish as incredible! The cheese sauce was so rich and creamy and I def need to come back and try it with the chicken. My server told me I should ask for the chicken blackened (the chicken is $9 but if you get it blackened it's $2 extra). The price for the pasta on its own before adding a protein was competitive when you compare the portion size. Be warned that the cheese wheel experience is only available Thurs-Saturday but it's so fun! It's akin to going to a Mexican restaurant that offers tableside guac or going to a hibachi restaurant! Can't beat the show! This place is great to go for a date, special occasion, whatever! Easily one of the best Italian spots in Northern Virginia!

Also after having had SO much seafood this week for RW it really stood out to be how strong it smelled fishy compared to allllll the other calamari / fish / oysters / hamachi crudo / dover sole / branzino / whole head on shrimp etc I've eaten over the last 10 plus days... like it substantively smelled strong and pungent. Needless to say I didn't finish it. They were kind and provided a lemon filled sorbet for desert and i appreciated that- it was a little too sweet for me and the other RW deserts seemed just Ok... I had mentioned we had 3 birthdays on deck and they saw the gift bags- so our server acknowledged it at the start of the meal that we mentioned it on the resi-but surprised absolutely nothing came of it... Then when they were lifting a sauce to remove it from the table - a lot of it spilled into an almost full glass of wine (fair to say it may have been my friends fault as she helped hand the dishes over) and we asked if they could replace it, and they just charged us for a second glass... Music was a little too loud albeit GREAT pop music selections, but appreciated the brightness of the windows. Chill ambiance, with four sections: lounge-style seating near the entrance, huge bar seating area with TVs, standard dining area, and special event area for large group reservations. We were pleased to find that house pastas were half off on Mondays. What a deal! That said, the restaurant is a little on the pricey side, so the half off pastas made the bill a little more bearable at the end of the meal. All our dishes were delicious; I ordered Godfather Ragu and it hit the spot nicely. Our server, Christian, was thoughtful, professional, and prompt without being overbearing. The GM Rodney was considerate, checked in on us several times, and helped the staff with dishes and bussing tables when available. The restaurant also honors a 10% off military discount.

I'd come back here if I was ever along the Van Dorn corridor, but the odds are low of ever being around here these days. In fact, I used to live over here walking distance to here but never ate here when I did, and I've never shown my girlfriend of 1 year 9 months that apartment as we just are never over here and live a bit closer to Baltimore than DC now. Ironically, we were in Alexandria just yesterday (Old Town) for a birthday party, but Alexandria in general is quite rare.

And I hadn't had carbonara in a long time, but they do a really good one here. Prices also are reasonable for the quality. I have friends only a couple miles down the road from here. The next time I visit them, I'll suggest we meet here for lunch or dinner.

Dear Paisano's: You keep putting junk mail on my door, which has a sign that says "No junk mail, solicitation..." I've asked you to stop, several times, but you keep doing it. This is considerably rude and thoughtless. It's also against the law. Please stop. Your pizza is mediocre/poor--far too greasy, under-seasoned, decent crust, cheap--for me to overlook your treatment of me. My family & I will never eat at Paisano's again. I will dissuade friends from eating there. I will spend an hour posting bad reviews of you at Yelp, Angie's List, etc. In the end, you will, over the course of the next few years, lose hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in revenue because of this, and deservedly so. Love this place! The food is always well prepared and staff is so friendly. Anytime Ive ordered for delivery the service has been so fast and they have never mess up the order. I work in Springfield and all of my coworkers love the food here. I highly recommend and prices are good. Definitely worth the value. read more

There is a worker who sings throughout the night, and her voice is amazing. Not sure if that's every Saturday, but it was a nice bonus to dinner. Keryan was our server for the night and she was super sweet. Even with it getting busy, she didn't miss a beat. The food came out hot and fresh, and it was delicious. The staff were really nice, however, the food was really subpar compared to other locations. The…read morepizza fell apart in the middle, they gave my friend real cheese(she specifically asked for vegan) and some of the pizza was super thick and tasted not fully cooked.
