Got what I get 90% of the time which is a small cheese half baked well tonight's Pizza when I got home about a quarter of the cheese that slid to one side and over The edge some and for some reason there was about six pieces of raw bacon on it that made it greasy as hell some of the cheese was actually over the crust stuck to the box I will try again but come on take a little pride in what you serve read more

Ledos is the absolute best place to eat and you should absolutely cherish this pizza.

It's been a while since we've been to Ledo. They've added quite a few things to their menu. Their boneless wings are still exceptionally good! The pizza is always great! They do serve bottled and draft beer, although the draft mugs are pretty small. Service was fairly slow on a Tuesday evening when the restaurant was mostly empty. Ordered food to go and went to pick it up and was told they were out of an item I ordered and asked if I wanted it replaced but it would be longer - fine, no problem, I can wait. While waiting, I heard employees loudly discussing a "horrible smell that had to be from something that died, most likely a dead mouse," in the kitchen. That's disgusting and shouldn't be an issue in a restaurant and it also shouldn't be so boldly and loudly discussed to where people can hear. The place was completely empty and I now understand why. I threw it all away the moment I got home, out of pure disgust, and without concern for the $40 I just wasted. Service was great, only complaint and not much of a bother was the location must have been having issues with their A/C unit; however, they had fans spread out to help with the issue. This Ledo's is usually just fine. The last two times we've been the dining area has been a complete mess with servers sitting around rather than at least cleaning first. The food is always pretty good, better than other Ledo's we've been to. I've worked in restaurants most of my life and hate to complain bc usually I can see what's going on having been there myself. Today, the server set down silver ware on our dirty table (no where else to sit as all the other booths were full of dirty dishes) with no intention of wiping it off. One server started clearing tables off after we ordered, she got them all cleaned before we got our food and the food is still good. read more

Wonderful pizza and has a gluten free version. We as grandparents were entertaining our grandchildren and showed them where we were going to get supper. My wife and I would not be back we ordered the three meat pizza and the pepper cheese steak. The service was fine however the quality of the food did not live up to the price that we paid. First the crust on the pizza was thinner then paper. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza. The sauce that was on there was very good just needed more. Lastly there was hardly any bacon on the pizza. We also ordered the Pepper Cheese Steak it was such a let down. Hardly any meat or cheese. Ordered salad and deluxe pizza. Place looks clean and people are friendly. My pizza arrived and had to set it aside and wait roughly 10 minutes for the waitress to return so that I could ask where my salad was, crushed red pepper and silverware. Salad had some mushy pieces and shouldn't have been served to a customer, specially for six bucks. The pizza was bland and soggy and the hamburger pieces were like meatball size and fell off whenever picking up the very small square of pizza that you would expect to hold its own being that it was small. The beer, Pepsi and dressing were good tho. Just a hint tho, don't serve salad that is bad, it can make people very sick. The place wasn't busy either so not sure why the service was lacking. Called in to make sure they would get order right. Ordered wings with sauce on the side. PLAIN wings with sauce on the side. Chicken ranch bacon pizza and a house salad with NO green peppers and I said that twice. She repeated everything correctly. Got there and paid and waited 20 minutes past time they had said would be ready. I understand that's an estimated time but when I got the order, the pizza was cold (had it been sitting there?) and wings were not hot and they were all sauced (not on the side as had requested) and the salad had green peppers and I specifically said twice no green peppers. I just don't understand why the quality of customer care and doing a good job have continued to go downhill. Step it up Ledo's at Ranson. I won't go back to this particular Ledo's. read more

If Ledo's offered delivery, they would take a HUGE bite out of Domino's and Pizza Huts business. The food that they offer is really good, and there is quite a bit of variety on the menu as well. This is totally different from Dominos, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut, whose menus basically consist of two things: 1 - stuff they toss in a deep fryer, and 2 - pizza crust that they keep trying to redisguise as a "new item" by making it different shapes or throwing cinnamon sugar on it. Ledos has pastas, subs, pizzas, calzones, salads, entrees, and more, and all of them are well prepared an good quality. Of course, I have to get a lot of opinions on their items second hand, because I am addicted to their buffalo chicken calzone and order one pretty much every time I eat here. For the price, portions are pretty large as well. All in all, i usually try to avoid chains because they are usually lackluster with spotty service, surly employees, and subpar food.... but Ledo's doesn't fall into any of those traps. Full Disclosure I am a LEDO's fan from the late 1970s when I first went to their original location near the University of MD. Been here a few times and consistency is the rule...service is timely and food is predictable and delicious. This time we had the salt and vinegar shrimp salad and six wings (with hot sauce), shared. On a recent jaunt to West VA, we found ourselves out after 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday night having not had any dinner. Let me tell you, that's not a good situation to be in in those parts. Everything shutters quite early. We circled a strip mall and discovered a pizza joint tucked away that had an open sign that was on. Saved from hunger! Not in the mood for pizza, we went with a tuna melt sub (not very Italian, I know, but it sounded good) and chicken parmesan. Both were very average, but filled the void quite nicely. The bright spot was the fresh brewed sweet tea. You know when you're in the Mid-Atlantic/Southern part of the U.S. when sweet tea makes an appearance on the menu. read more

A batch of neighbors were visiting and realized we all had missed dinner, but didn't want to suspend the conversation SO we headed over to Ledo Pizza in Ranson. We arrived within 1/2 hour of closing but the servers were "no problem" come on in and set a spell!! NICE - so often you get grumbling if you show up "close to closing time". There were a few other customers seated in the restaurant. We each ordered an individual item; salads, ravioli, pizzas, and I had a flatbread. Everything showed up hot and/or fresh and at the table in very short order. My flatbread was lovely - I think these are an awesome idea. The aiosi sauce is light, creamy, and lovely - not a spicy red sauce. The crust was thin and crispy, not heavy. The ingredients tasted fresh. We normally use one of the other chain pizza restaurants for their Super Special Deals, but decided to use Ledo's for dinner, last night. We ordered a take out Create Your Own pizza with cooked bacon, hamburger, onions and green peppers. We were VERY disappointed to find NO bacon when we got home to eat. Ledo's is kind of a thorn in my side, I'm not a fan but my boyfriend LOVES it. Personally I don't like their pizza one bit, it's almost the consistency of Taco Bell's mexican pizza. We're talking ultra ultra thin crust that can be sometimes soggy and sometimes a little crunchy. And sometimes the "crust" is freaking huge because whoever made it was being sloppy. A giant pizza sized appetizer is what it reminds me of. And there's something in their pizza that gives me massive heartburn, I don't get that anywhere else! My boyfriend got me their Veg Out pizza the last time because he thought I'd enjoy it. It had NO flavor, NONE. There was no sauce on it and there was a basil leaf here and there. Seriously, all I could taste was the crust. I even tried salting it but that didn't work. I'm giving them two stars because their stromboli and calzones are about the only things I can stand. And again... heartburn! And others have commented that the staff can be rude and I have to agree. My boyfriend said on the night he went to get that tasteless pizza I described above the girl behind the counter was so rude he wanted to forget the order and walk out. I've only been to this Ledos twice. One time we walked in to sit down and eat rather then carrying out and it felt as if we were walking in on a private party. We didnt feel welcomed at all. The employees just stared at us didn't greet us right away, I thought it was just me... but my husband felt the same way so we walked out. The last time I went there we just picked up an order, the employees again were not very friendly. The food was oookayyy not Amazing enough to go again especially because of the employees. read more

Our waitress was very honest...they make their pizza a little thicker than we like because the toppings tend to collapse the pizza. they made it our way and it was amazing. Banana peppers, onions, bacon, pepperoni, etc. so very good on a well made and thoroughly enjoyed pizza. We had the Po'boy Calamari Sandwich and the Chicken Calzone. Both were almost without flavor. The calzone crust was vet good but when I got the slimey canned mushrooms in the calzone, I wanted to go a few doors down in the strip mall to the Weis Grocery to buy FRESH mushrooms. The calamari in the sandwich was rubbery, as expected (but we hoped not). For a restaurant with the hashtag, #nevercutcorners, it is ironic how many corners Ledos cuts. We went to Ledos to avoid fast food places like McDonald's and Roy Rogers. Roy's would have been the better choice where food quality is apparently more important. The seats throughout the Ledos restaurant are in really bad shape, with many covered by clear tape to hold the torn naughahide together. There appears to be a need for monetary investment in the business where even the window blinds are not hanging right. Ledos is worth a visit for affordability and great service, but keep your expectations low. read more

My father grew up going to the orginal Ledos so we were raised loving it but only getting it once in a blue moon until it franchised out. That being said It is my favorite pizza of all and has since become my wifes as well and I have introduced it to others that travel to here and they fall in love. Not all ledo's franchises are run as well as others. This one has messed up our order before... but no one is perfect. Overall the product is consistently excellent and the place clean. THE WINGS ARE AWESOME!! The pizza is good, the best pizza I have had so far is the chicken, spinach and bacon pizza. Pretty awesome. We always order for pick up and the wings are the best Ive had out here. Better than BWW. They are big and crispy, yet juicy still, reminds me of "Wing Stop" in Cali! The sauces they have too are awesome, we always get the chipotle ranch. Id recommend this place in particular. read more

Ledo's has always been my favorite pizza but I'll never dine at this location again -- better off driving to Frederick. My salad arrived 30-45 seconds ahead of my pizza so my pizza got cold while I ate my salad. I always order pre-cooked bacon, but this time it was hard, burned and not evenly distributed. My husband's sub arrived 4 minutes later and was not sans lettuce & tomato as ordered. Had to request eating utensils. Drink refills never occurred. Then to top it all off, had a difficult time paying the bill. Left money visibly on the table (husband still sitting there), went to the ladies room, returned and it was never picked up. Tried paying at the front counter but they had to locate the waitress. She was finally found and after a few more minutes she says "we don't have any change so I can't give you your 54 cents, is that okay?" That's fine by me because her tip became 53 cents (she couldn't even do the correct math). read more
