I used to be skeptical of this place but I've come to really enjoy it. Coffee is good. Food is good, too. Coffee for all types. I'm a good black coffee guy and my wife is a sweet iced coffee person and they serve both options. Great environment, too. This place is FANTASTIC! From the giant coffee roasting machine in front to the mismatched couches and chairs, it has a unique and funky feel. The crowd is diverse and includes moms and kids, tourists and local business people grabbing a coffee or meal to go. Their coffee menu is extensive and has tons of choices; anyone can find something to enjoy. And the food, WOW. Our order arrived reasonably quickly and all ingredients were tasty and fresh; from the heavily stuffed turkey omelet to a veggie breakfast sandwich, all was delicious. Unfortunately, we arrived late to enjoy any of their baked goods because they were SOLD OUT. Now we are determined to go earlier and be able to partake in their delicious sounding muffins. read more

Nice little lunch spot in downtown Laurel. The Yelp reviews steered us in their direction and it didn't disappoint. I had a turkey Panini sandwich that was twice as large as I needed it to be. It was really good though and my girlfriend enjoyed her BLT. They've got a nice old school downtown vibe happening in the dining area - exposed brick and high ceilings. Awesome place. We were passing through Laurel on our way back from California. Going off the beaten path. My wife was in need of COFFEE. We found an awesome place to get her caffeinated fix. Beside awesome coffee, we had a great lunch with awesome chicken salad sandwiches and French onion soup. The decor was very nice with turn of the (20th) century buildings and architecture. I love these old buildings and the history that goes with them. I highly recommend getting off the beaten path and enjoying a nice lunch with a great freshly ground cup of coffee. read more

Came in on a Sunday. Terrible terrible idea. It was a little crowded and we were told it'd be a 25 minute wait, but that was perfectly fine with us. We ordered hummus, 2 sandwiches, 2 quesadillas, and one smoothie. Thirty minutes later only the 2 quesadillas had made it. One person from our party went downstairs to politely ask how much longer our order would be. And also informed them that the sweet tea was out. She only got to say the sweet tea is out before the worker completely walked away then started very loudly yelling about how they were understaffed and it was a 30 minute wait on food. And now another 20 minutes later we never received the hummus but finally got the food and after a second trip downstairs we finally were rewarded of the smoothie. The hummus never arrived. The food was subpar reheated under seasoned chicken. And the "creamy" chicken and rice looked like a heaping bowl of croutons to mask the disgusting soup. All in all save your money. This place sucks and the service really makes the experience all the while worse. read more

Been here several times. The coffee is always good. If you like white mocha this is the place to get it , hot or cold both are great. The breakfast omelettes are real good. If you can find them try the blueberry delight or the peanut butter cheese cake. Those are just incredible. The service is very polite. You will not be disappointed by coming here. read more

Walked down to Lee's this morning to have breakfast (we live in Laurel). It was obvious the cashier did not want to be there as he barely spoke and when he did it was one syllable words. We ordered bagels and bacon. Took us 15 minutes to get our food (only one order in front of us) and the bagels were burned and the bacon was so paper thin that it crumbled when we picked it up. We had to come home and get something else to eat as we couldn't eat the whole bagel. Tables weren't bussed. I don't think we'll be going back again. read more

Visited family in nearby Petal and drove over to Laurel to check out the cute town. Lee's was one of the highlights of our visit. Pimento Cheese sandwich was so good (pro tip: get it grilled) and the French Onion soup was probably the best soup I've ever had. So good in fact that I asked for the recipe which they happily shared! They had a nice selection of craft beer too and are really trying to make this restaurant a community gathering place. They have game nights, local musicians and lots of fun happenings. A cute little boutique is at the back of the restaurant and upstairs had meeting space. Lastly, as an Arizona girl I was pleasantly surprised to see they serve Cartel Coffee (which is an Arizona coffee institution). read more

We tried Lee's twice for lunch while in Laurel for The Market Beautiful! I tried the Grilled Pimento cheese with bacon first. Very tasty, but be forewarned, it's messy. The next day I tried the chicken salad on croissant. Excellent chicken salad! The only complaint I have is they had prepared box lunches in advance because of this event and my sandwich was skimpy on the chicken salad. They provided chips and drink with a deal which was great. The BLT with pimento-cheese was prepared in a panini press which made the two slivers of lettuce limp and yucky. Very little pimento-cheese on sandwich and ciabatta bread was sliced so thin, entire sandwich was less than 1 inch total. Pastrami sandwich was just bread and meat and again bread so thin sandwich was just flat. While shopping, several different store employees and owners apologized about our experience and stated since the operators of the restaurant had passed to others, sadly it was not the same. read more

The chicken quesadilla was so fresh and sprinkled with dill. I tried oat milk for the first time after a recommendation by the cashier/barista - loved it! A funky and neat local place near downtown for coffee, sandwiches and salads. Quaint, Wonderful atmosphere, and is much larger on the inside than the storefront portrays. Unlike most "S-brand" coffee shops, it was quiet and a great place to sit and relax without the noise and hubbub. Then again, it was after 7:00 so think lunch is their busiest time. They offer live music on some days. I had the Chicken Ceasar Salad and a cup of Chicken and Rice soup. Both were delicious. The only negative here is the staff was somewhat unresponsive at first - you may need to wave your hands or speak directly to get their attention before being acknowledged. read more
