The flavor was impeccable, so I didn't mind the mixed temperature. That's something that could be improved. I haven't ever ordered kung pao chicken, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but it was amazing. Seasoned well and served with a little heat. The amount of chicken you get is impressive. It is served with a side of rice. The wontons were some of the hottest/freshest wontons I've ever eaten. Steam was coming out of my mouth! It definitely was a fresh order due to them originally forgetting that part of our order. That's not service, that's pressure with a side of audacity. I even tried to clarify, thinking maybe gratuity wasn't included and I misunderstood. I was told, "No, service is completely separate." Okay... then maybe make that crystal clear somewhere? A sign, a note, literally anything. I would have gladly run to my car to grab cash and come back if it had been handled respectfully. But after being cornered and told I had to tip? Absolutely not. If your business model relies on tipping, act like it. Don't ambush customers on their way out like they're skipping out on a bill. Between the overpriced, underwhelming food and the aggressive tipping situation, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while.
