Lees Discount Liquor in Henderson off Boulder is our go-to spot for beer/liquor. Although, one of my last two trips they were out of my Coconut liquor (employees unaware if they would restock)! Second trip looking for a specific canned espresso martini (Tip top). Employee had zero knowledge of this brand or where to locate. *pictured below Unfortunately, I left empty handed on both trips. I've been coming to this location for quite some time. It was my main place to get craft beer but their selection has gone down drastically. I used to pick up the 120 minute IPA here and some good barleywine options but they are no longer here. Not sure what happened. The craft beer selection has depleted badly. Not sure if it's due to new management, but it has taken a serious nose dive. The prices are still acceptable on other items like their wine and spirits. I'll still shop this location for those things. I just wish their craft beer selection would get back up to par. Because of that, I will be in here a lot less now. read more

Came here on a whim to grab some alcohol and was pleasantly surprised! The workers were super friendly and helpful. I even had s really nice conversation with the cashier as I was checking out. The selection is pretty decent - which, I wasn't expecting and was surprised too. The shelves were organized and clean and all the displays were very full and presentable. I will most likely be making this my go to liquor stop AND it's close to home! Winning. read more

One employee was one of the rudest employees I have ever seen in my 30 years here on earth. They rearranged the store since the last time I was there so I didn't know where they put the big buzzballs now. I asked the employee if they have the big one by any chance and he just looks up and just looks at it without any direction. I end up finding it and even apologized for not seeing it (it was in the front) he then just stares at me when I'm checking out and then when I show him my ID he says "You look old" I was caught off guard cause they always ask for ID. I said that was weird and he just keeps dogging me out. And then he finally scans my items and tell me why I got the buzz ball with the dent in such a demeaning way. I said it doesn't matter it was just liquor but then he proceeds to tell me that liquor is everything and if it wasn't for liquor WE wouldn't be here now. We came here just to walk through and see what wines and bourbons they had since we were already in the shopping center. There's a large selection of high end liquors but not the best selection of high end wines. Their wines tend to be more expensive than Total Wine and the liquor prices for the most part are higher than Costco prices. On the way to leave, there was a stack of IPA beers with a sign that said "Flash Sale" and that the beers were $5 for a six pack. I grabbed three packs to buy for what should be $15. At the register, the cashier gave me a total of $32. I pointed out the sale sign and another employee came to assist. They removed the sign, one employee walked away, and the cashier gave me the same total. He didn't know what was going on with the sale sign. I left the beers on the counter and left. They don't honor sale prices and you can do better shopping elsewhere. read more

I was looking for crème de menthe and cream de cocoa. I went to Walmart and the little liquor store on Major. Both places were basically wine and beer. So I decided to go to Lee's for the first time and aahhh. It's like the cathedral of booze. To me it's like a museum so many ways to make alcohol and so many artistic bottles, I am not a big drinker, I wanted to make Grasshopper milkshakes. I found what I needed, with a variety of choices. You could definitely tell me apart from the regulars , they're all looking at me weird cuz I'm just strolling, we had our milkshakes and they were scrumptious. I love this place. They have almost everything you're looking for! I walked in looking for Tart of Darkness and was disappointed they don't have it but then again nobody else does either. I think this Lee's is pretty great! The customer service here is top notch, regardless of who is working that day. I have come in stocking up for upcoming parties or just restocking our bar and learned something new every time. Wether it be a high quality economical but lesser known vodka (Boru); or a cheaper, but quality Tequila that won't lead to awful headaches (Camarena). I have tried different and new beers per employee recommendation and learned of new and creative ways to mix. The prices are very reasonable, and guaranteed cheaper than most grocery stores. The selection is vast. I was even able to find Magic Hat #9 beer here. Now I don't have to drive to Total Wine when the mood hits me. If I could give this Lee's liquor store a rating of zero I would. The manager was so rude to me I went in and asked him a question took him 15 minutes to come over and finally talk to me and when he did he was arrogant and rude. They didn't have the wine I was looking for so I asked him to please check the computer and see if one of their other businesses had it because it was in the paper that they are specifically selling this brand if wine, buy one get one for a penny, so he told me how they have it on Maryland Parkway, so I drove to Maryland Parkway and they did not have it they didn't even carry that brand. .I will never ever go to a Lee's liquor store again terrible customer service. Tonight I stopped into what used to be my favorite one stop shop to get my husband's beer and my wine but I'll have to be honest, this store isn't what it used to be.. the staff used to be so friendly and attentive. This was my third time coming into this location and finding one cashier swamped with customers and two employees right out front kissing and hugging, (a short blonde woman and a tall man) the THIRD time.. I find this incredibly unprofessional, first employees in a relationship at the same location and second too invested in each other to tend to customers. Let me start off by saying not only does the store never keep anything in stock, and if you ask any of the employees about it, the standard response is either it's on backorder or there's a problem with the distributor but I don't understand how I can go anywhere else in town and they have plenty of what I'm looking for, how does that make sense? Purchased some fruity drinks that were priced 10 for $10. Loaded up different flavors into a box carrier they had out to use for our picks, went to check out and the cashier rung up the carrier instead of the individual bottle. Told him the price wasn't right and all he said well it's the price it rings up. Want it or not? I asked for a manager and he huffed and puffed plus an eye roll all because he had to get the manager. Keep in mind no one was in line so it wasn't like we were holding up the line. Finally a manger comes fixes the price and we were on our way. Lee's have a vast variety of wines, beers, malt liquors...etc! There's so many choices of drinks to choose from it makes for a great place to try new drinks from many different countries. The staff are always cool and will help you out if you have any questions on anything in the store, they're very friendly and helpful. They also have a tasting station so you can taste test different drinks at this location. I've always liked Lee's stores, it's worth dropping in and checking it out if you've never been. read more

All right, I admit it - I don't drink alcohol. Period. But my younger brother got married about 2 weeks ago, and my father sent me on a "beer run" to get more beverages for the party. Being that this is (most likely) the closest liquor store to the house, I decided to come over here. The store itself is a bit large and overwhelming, and I asked for help when I couldn't find the products I had been sent for. Quite honestly, I was worried the staff in here weren't going to be friendly or helpful. I was wrong on both fronts. Within 2-3 minutes of telling them what I was looking for, I was at the register paying for it. I admit, it was a little pricey (given that the establishment has "discount" in its name), but I can't change the fact that alcohol is expensive stuff. Additionally, after paying for my items, the gentleman who helped me find the stuff I was looking for helped us get the items out to my car, and even lifted them to load them in the back (this was a pretty big haul.) And he did it with a good personality and a smile on his face. I haven't been in liquor stores too often, and for obvious reasons that probably won't change anytime soon. But these guys deserve credit for doing a good job - enough said. read more

I like this Lee's location because of the service. Got a question? They will answer it. Can't find something like Russian wheat beer or Dogfish Head My Antonia? They are more than willing to help. This location was not in Yelp and I wanted to fix that. Having lived in Colorado I got spoiled by stores out there that offered the "make your own 6 pack" options. Imports, domestics, local breweries, you could try all sorts of stuff without committing to a full 6 pack that you might not like. I wish that Lee's offered that here. It's bad when Albertsons is experimenting with this and Lee's is not. But that being said...it's still not bad on price and selection. read more

I LOVE Lee's Liquor. I am glad that it is a family owned business here in Las Vegas, and their commercials are pretty funny! There are locations all over town - this location happens to be about a mile from my house, so it is really convenient. I am beer drinker, and they have a great selection. Don't get me wrong - it could be better, but I don't think Vegas is really that into beer just yet, so the selection they have is sufficient. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful, and if there is a particular item you are searching for, they will check the database to see if it is something they can get from their distributor. Prices are reasonable. They have a loyalty club as well. I am not 100% sure what the benefits of this club are, but I am certain to give my key fob card everytime I go! :) The only thing I wonder is who added the picture of Yuengling to this page? That is not something available here in Vegas, or at Lee's for that matter, so it's not fair to tease us Yelpers!! Unprofessional...... This store is perfectly on my way home and that's the only reason I stop here! I was recently in for a few things and noticed a price discrepancy on the vodka I wanted. So I took a bottle to the register to ask for a price check. The female cashier was talking with another employee, saw me approach, then turned her back to me and kept right on talking!! The other employee smiled politely and got her to help me. I pointed out the difference in the signs posted but no one went to check or take them down! Came here before getting some lunch at the Vietnamese place nearby as we wanted to check out their selection of cognac. Man...this is a great place if alcoholic bevvies are to your liking. Selection here is pretty huge with most anything you can think of booze wise. Also lots of hard to find items with the high end stuff whiskey, cognac etc behind glass in display cases. The store is very clean, no unpleasant doors and very well organized. Pricing appeared to be decent. For me being Canadian it's akin to going into a discount booze heaven. I'd be tipsy more often if I had such a selection and a store closer to my home. read more
