I stopped by this afternoon and ordered a bbq pork banh mi with no cilantro and a black unsweetened iced tea to go. Unfortunately, whoever made the sandwich decided to put plenty of cilantro but no jalapeños. The pork was not great - there were several pieces of pure fat, which took away from the sandwich (along with the missing jalapeños). The iced tea was good but not worth $4. Upon walk in, the tables were clean and counters were clean. The food was pretty good I got the #6 bbq pork baguette and a lee's milk tee only for a cheap price. The quality of the bread and veggies were super fresh and didn't over do it with the mayo. Service was quick and efficient and it's definitely a good place to stop for lunch or dinner. I got the bbq pork banh mi, which was good but a bit small. Price was average. About $5.50 but you can probably get a bigger size, better quality banh mi at a vietnamese restaurant. They also have a decent selection of fruit teas and also sell milk tea. I never been to any other Lee's sandwiches so not too much expectations. I signed up to order online and it only took 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I also got a free baguette reward as well as 20% off my next online purchase which was nice and will bring me back here. I complain about the missing sandwiches back then but didn't realize they still remember me when i came back a month and a half later to claim the refund. Did you know you could get freshly bake French Baguette if you call in? Pick up in 15mins, bread was hot out of the oven the smell of fresh bread is AMAZING couldn't resist so had to have a piece!!! Grabbed some sandwiches and a ca phe sua da for a road trip and was great! I always put the veggies on the side as not to have a soggy sandwich after. The service was fast, friendly, and easy here. Lee's will always be one of my favorite Banh mi restaurants. They also have great American sandwiches (turkey and cheese croissant is delicious). The Vietnamese coffee is one of my favorites but mind you it does have a very sweet flavor. The wait can be a bit long if you walk in during a rush but there is an online order option and you can call an order in ahead of time. I also found out they do party platters. Since new management has taken over everything has went downhill. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich in store around 5pm for my lunch after a long day working and running errands. I get home and the sandwich is refrigerator cold. I called and the cashier and reported the cold sandwich, he assured me to come back into the store and they'll correct the situation. Upon second arrival, he told me the chicken was cooked and the daikon and other vegetables was making the sandwich cold. In additon, he kept reassuring me this is how the sandwich is normally prepared. I expressed the food being cooked wasn't the issue. After more verbal disagreements and poor word choice, the cashier suggested a refund. All the meanwhile, the manager/owner and cook are staring at me in the kitchen. What happend to the customer being right? what kind of Owner/Manager doesn't take accountability. Who orders a COLD grilled chicken sandwich and how is that normal? All I wanted was to have my lunch at home finally after a very long day and i couldn't even do that. I've had poor experiences where I could care less to leave a negative review on Yelp, but this by far tops them all and I dont want anyone to have this same experience. The workers here are so caring and kind. I recently came and they gave me a free coffee on the house. Not to mention the last time I came they walked me to my car to help me with the food. This chain's Vietnamese iced coffee is famous, concentrated caffeinated goodness full of sugar and milk. You can make a stop at this store just for the coffee alone, the sandwiches are the bonus. They have different styles of sandwiches but I go with the Vietnamese style usually bbq pork, the sandwiches are cheaper than Subway. Right now with Yelp check in and purchase of a sandwich you get a free coffee. Look for Groupon deals for this location to save some cash, they usually have a couple deals going. Not the most convenient location as parking is street and Colorado is a big street so at certain times of the day all the spaces right out front are taken. Plenty of free street parking if you are lucky enough to find an empty spot. FREE WIFI!! I asked the worker for a recommendation. She recommended a sandwich which I HATED. It looked like a combo of mystery meat and fake play food!! I ended up giving it to my dogs and they loved it. What I did LOVE was the free coffee I got when I checked in. AMAZING!! Walked by this sandwich shop today after a business meeting in Pasadena. Was I in a surprised: this has got to be the best sandwiches (Banh Mi) shop that I ran into in the States, it almost can compare to Banh Mi Huyen Hoa (Best in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), the bread was freshly baked, ingredients were plentiful & fresh, once I took a bite, I could not help but finish the whole thing. I've been Lee's Sandwiches for a long time and just happened to see this location while driving down Colorado Blvd. However, it would have been a lot easier to see if there was a "sandwich board" sign or ballon's, just something to draw your attention to this place. Like all Lee's Sandwiches, the interior is really clean and inviting. Thankfully the menus are all the same, so it's easy for me to order, #81! I had the pleasure to be taken care of by the owners of this location and to chit chat with them. I expressed to them how expensive the franchise costs were, and they seemed a bit shocked that I had looked into it. For those that don't know, it's HUGE! This location has great potential to succeed with all the colleges, medical offices, and professional businesses around. Lee's offers great sandwich platters to feed any size groups. Most people haven't experienced a sandwich for Lee's, so this is a great introduction to a great place. As for the food here, it's spot on and a delight to my tummy.
