I'm knocking off one star because I specifically requested extra jalapeños on my sandwich, and ironically, mine was the only one that didn't have any jalapeños at all. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was definitely disappointing since that was my only special request. That said, the sandwiches themselves were delicious. One thing I really appreciate is the bread! it was perfectly baked with a light, crisp exterior without being overly hard. Today was a great day! After a workout, we stopped by for some bánh mì in Rancho Cucamonga, and it absolutely hit the spot. It was delicious, filling, and brought back the authentic flavors of Vietnamese culture. We ordered the Combination #11 with everything on it, along with a black coffee and a Vietnamese coffee to top it all off. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. However, the pickled vegetables and cilantro were ample which was a plus. However, the #11 Special Combination was very good. It seems this sandwich has been very consistent in taste and quality. I always get the iced Vietnamese coffee, but I am bummed they changed the recipe because it's a lot sweeter now. My go to sandwich is the bbq pork with extra cilantro. Lee's sandwiches are always so refreshing and I feel the portions are a good size. Pricing is a little up there but quality is good. Would not be ordering either one of those items again. It's a nice clean shop though with seating. I may come back and try something other than a sandwich. Service during their re-grand opening appeared a bit chaotic. I was charged for a sandwich that I did not order, which was quickly corrected when I brought it to their attention, and I was refunded the cost back to me. However, I didn't realize until I got home, I was also overcharged for one of my coffee at regular price vs their promo of 1.99 coffee drink with purchase of sandwich. The only reason why they looked is because my husband let them know they were calling 10 more customers that came in after us. There was zero apology. When my husband asked about a refund, they rushed to "make it right" instead of addressing the delay, and there was no sincere apology or acknowledgment of the hassle. My turkey sandwich felt like there wasn't enough meat like 1 and a half slices paired with three large slices of cheese, all flavorless. It seemed the focus was on the baguette rather than what was inside, and the result tasted like cafeteria or pre-packaged food you get at the hospital or quickie market. I pulled off the cheese to cut fat/calories because it just wasn't worth it...but even then the sandwich was just not worth the time or the price.
