I've always enjoyed Lee's Sandwiches, and this visit was no different overall. We ordered the #17 Jambon Pork, #4 Grilled Chicken, and #6 BBQ Pork, and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. I'm knocking off one star because I specifically requested extra jalapeños on my sandwich, and ironically, mine was the only one that didn't have any jalapeños at all. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was definitely disappointing since that was my only special request. That said, the sandwiches themselves were delicious. One thing I really appreciate is the bread! it was perfectly baked with a light, crisp exterior without being overly hard. I've had bánh mì from other places where the bread is so crunchy it tears up the roof of your mouth, but Lee's gets the texture just right. Despite the missing jalapeños, I'd still come back. Today was a great day! After a workout, we stopped by for some bánh mì in Rancho Cucamonga, and it absolutely hit the spot. It was delicious, filling, and brought back the authentic flavors of Vietnamese culture. We ordered the Combination #11 with everything on it, along with a black coffee and a Vietnamese coffee to top it all off. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. By the end of the meal, we were completely full and happy. I'm so glad Rancho Cucamonga has a place like this that represents Vietnamese cuisine so well. We'll definitely be coming back again. I ordered a #7 Pork Meatball and a #11 Special Combination. The #7 Pork Meatball was a bit disappointing as the actual meat was somewhat mushy in texture, very bland, and devoid of much flavor. However, the pickled vegetables and cilantro were ample which was a plus. However, the #11 Special Combination was very good. It seems this sandwich has been very consistent in taste and quality. The bread to meat to vegetable ratios were perfect. The freshly made baguette was light textured on the inside and crispy on the outside. I still think this is their best tasting sandwich. It's been quite some time since I've visited a Lee Sandwich chain and I really wanted to like it, but overall, sandwich is overpriced. Ice coffee wasn't strong and was more on the sweeter side. Would not be ordering either one of those items again. It's a nice clean shop though with seating. I may come back and try something other than a sandwich. Service during their re-grand opening appeared a bit chaotic. I was charged for a sandwich that I did not order, which was quickly corrected when I brought it to their attention, and I was refunded the cost back to me. However, I didn't realize until I got home, I was also overcharged for one of my coffee at regular price vs their promo of 1.99 coffee drink with purchase of sandwich. My turkey sandwich felt like there wasn't enough meat like 1 and a half slices paired with three large slices of cheese, all flavorless. It seemed the focus was on the baguette rather than what was inside, and the result tasted like cafeteria or pre-packaged food you get at the hospital or quickie market. I pulled off the cheese to cut fat/calories because it just wasn't worth it...but even then the sandwich was just not worth the time or the price. Good news for them, they are the only banh mi nearby in the IE. I remember sometime last year on either Thursday or Friday, they turned into a ghost kitchen. Should of known that was a tall tale sign it was failing. On 8-19-25, around 3pm I ordered the combination and bbq sandwich. The bread was stale and not crunchy.
