I have known about Nancy's for quite some time because it is one of the famous diners that are dotted along former Route 66. There are many in the area and I would say that Nancy May's is one of the better ones. We stopped in for our first time this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was our server's first day on the job and she was extremely sweet and did a great job and so did the kitchen. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and just as we requested. It's in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don't have any outdoor seating and inside is pretty small but in a cozy way. For our first visit, we wanted to start with some of their bakery items so we chose the Cinnamon Roll and the Coffee Cake. They were pretty good, but you could tell they were not homemade and were very cakey. The store bought pastries never seem to be as good as homemade to me. This was not my favorite part of the meal. For my breakfast, I chose the Country Fried Steak and thought it was fantastic. It was not overly cooked and the eggs were done perfectly, I was a big fan of the dish overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a great diner or to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or lunch option.

A Gem of a Brunch Spot! I can't say enough great things about Nancy May's 50's Cafe! Everything on their menu is absolutely delicious, making it nearly impossible to choose just one favorite. The friendly staff truly makes the experience special. Rhonda is hands down the best server around, always attentive and welcoming. What sets this place apart is the incredible customer service--the kitchen staff even comes out to check on you, which adds such a personal touch. And to top it all off, Nancy, the owner, is the kindest soul, making everyone feel like family. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, a warm atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond, Nancy May's 50's Cafe is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Breakfast Burrito is delicious! The red salsa goes great with it and tastes fresh. The lemon pancake is amazing! I would get the regular syrup on the side so that the lemon isn't overpowering. Walk in and seat yourselves, no need to wait for a table if one is open. The servers are nice and quick to get your coffee and orders. The chef is really good and super nice. Overall a great little spot for a nice 50s style themed breakfast.

The cutest little diner!! 50 's decor! Old photos on the walls and 50's music playing! So perfect! The staff was so nice and dressed like 50's! Breakfast was absolutely perfect!! Priced right! Go! It's so worth it!

The crispy chicken and kimchi fried rice skillet was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The food was fresh, creative, and beautifully presented, and the service made the experience even better. Sunny's Café is definitely one of our new favorite breakfast spots in Rancho Cucamonga. The first time we came my husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito and I got the Sunny's Sandwich on homemade brioche. The sandwich was amazing but my husband just thought the burrito was okay. It's so crispy and the French Toast which is also made from the brioche. The bakery is right next to door and the reason their bread is so fresh and delicious. On nice days, they'll have a couple tables outside but the seating is primarily inside. I'll definitely order the kimchi fried rice next time. I tried some when my husband ordered it and it was so good.

I usually dislike fried rice. Whenever I have a choice between that and regular steamed rice, I…read moreusually opt for the latter. I just much never saw the point of adding random ingredients to rice when I could have complete control over what I want as ulam. I remember when Toby and I were in Hawaii, she insisted I try some local fried rice. I ended up getting somewhat sick because whatever they put into it just didn't agree with my stomach. And it's not like I could've asked to take the offensive ingredients out because most places don't post exactly what goes into their version of the dish and if I asked to hold the sketchy stuff, it would end up being closer to steam rice anyway. But some places like Scrambler's Cafe just know how to make it right. They load it up with meat only put the bare minimum of veggie mix, and portion it out like there's a hungry man ordering it. Every bite is tremendously flavorful and filling. I love their fried rice and it's quickly become a go-to dish at Scrambler's--first at the Corona location and now at the new location. The service is great too. Everyone was nice and the refills came fast without prompting. Every restaurant should have service this competent. Also, the ambiance was great. The tables were spaced out and the noise was very respectful. It's just a chill place all around, fit for large parties and solo diners. It's a good eating place for anyone. Overall, this place is an amazing spot and I look forward to coming back here.

The staff was really nice, and even though the place was busy and clearly popular, my food came out surprisingly quickly. I ordered the strawberry matcha, which was probably my least favorite part of the meal. The matcha itself wasn't very strong, and I didn't get much strawberry flavor either. When I saw another strawberry matcha come out, it actually looked different from mine, so I'm not sure if that one had extra strawberry added. Mine definitely wasn't on the sweet side, so I asked if they could make it sweeter, and they added what tasted like vanilla. It was okay, but definitely not my favorite matcha. For food, I ordered the Katsu Chicken Loco Moco, and this was much better. The gravy was absolutely delicious, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the chicken was nice and crispy. The fried rice was okay but rounded out the dish well. One thing I thought was especially thoughtful was that they brought out a carafe of water even though I was dining by myself. They also serve the utensils and napkins in a little basket, which was a cute touch and added to the overall experience. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly service, and the Loco Moco. The matcha could definitely use some improvement, but I'd still give this place 4 stars and would be open to coming back to try some of their other Hawaiian-inspired breakfast dishes

We were so surprised and pleased to see they offer a variety of drinks for $3. Shame on me for forgetting to get a picture of that part of the menu but from what I can remember, there was jasmine tea, milk tea, lattes and salted caramel cold brew. We got the salted caramel cold brew, a latte, a halo halo and a ube truffle. Oooh yummy everything was absolutely made to perfection. Getting these types of coffee drinks for under $5 is almost unheard of but I will for sure be back when in Rancho. The cafe is not easy to spot from the parking lot but they do have a sign to lead you there. It looks like a cool place to study or hang out, they have games and a few toys for littles. There is also some seating outside.

UPSIDE DOWN HALO HALO (with Ube Ice Cream) Been awhile since I've last tried this dessert and it was so good! Did pay a little extra to substitute vanilla ice cream for ube ice cream and it was worth it! You can't go wrong with the ube shake + ube ice cream + jellies + fruits inside this delicious dessert! It is in a much larger cup too, so this can be shared with two people. UBE CRACK CHEESECAKE The crunchy crust was a bit more coarse and had a shortbread sweetness to it. The ube flavor was there in the cheesecake, but you got that tangy cream cheese flavor too. Moist, creamy and sweet. Overall, I enjoyed it. UBE TRUFFLE This was very sweet. You got the ube cake inside which was like a cake pop, but much softer and creamier. It tasted like the ube, but overly sweet and the outer Oreo crust was sweet too. A little bit of vanilla flavor too. Probably won't order this again, but I will say the aftertaste was of ube and it was a pleasant aftertaste. UBE CRINKLE It tasted like a very soft shortbread cookie, but a bad one. The texture was too soft and it did crumble. The outer crinkle part was very sugary and sweet. I wouldn't reorder this. UBE MONSTER (MINI) Basically what is sounds like, an ube shake. It was good. The Oreo topping did go well with this ube shake. The ube shake is the same ube ice cream. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and nice, good service overall. AMBIANCE + SEATS Cozy and inviting. Lots of wooden tables and chairs for 4 people. There were outdoor seats too. Decorated with lots of Star Wars paraphernalia all over the cafe. Surprised they didn't play the theme song too. Lol. There's also a small area with games where you can play with friends and family. Bathroom was clean too. SELF-ORDER KIOSK You can order at the front register or order at the kiosk. I ordered at the front register the first time I was here and then ordered via kiosk the second time I was here. Both worked well with no issues. LOCATION + PARKING Adjacent to The NoyPitz Bar& Grill, Right next to Desu Pizza Bite. Hidden inside the courtyard. Lots of parking spaces. Not everything I tried was great here, but will be back for the Upside Down Halo Halo and Ube Crack Cheesecake!

Didn't even know this place was here, much less that it's in the building of a seminary of the same name! Very cute little cafe. Tons of parking available, at least while we were there. There's ample seating inside but there's also nice tables and chairs outside with the picturesque pond that has geese and ducks. We opted for the outdoor seating. We had to wait a bit to be helped as the ladies behind the counter were super busy getting orders out. The cashier was friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a mixup with the Yelp offer on check-in, but we got it sorted out rather quickly. We each ordered separately, but we ended up ordering the same thing. Apparently they're known for their chicken pesto panini, so we all opted to try it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the pesto was amazing and the roasted red peppers and onions complemented the sandwich perfectly. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to the geese and ducks, there's apparently a resident egret that happened to visit our table. He seemed pretty used to people and appeared to want to join us. I paid $9.78 total for 1 Deli surprise bag and what I got far surpassed what I paid for it. Starting off with location and parking, it's located inside a big building that is called Gateway Seminary. I didn't know what to expect but it looks just like a regular office building but happens to have a nice view of a man made lake complete with a water feature and ducks! Parking was pretty easy but you may have a far walk across the parking lot if it happens to be full. I got lucky and got a spot near the handicap spaces. There was a girl working outside and I asked her if that was the deli and she said yes and held the door open for me. Inside is like a regular little deli cafe where you order from a counter. Both employees that I talked to were friendly and kind. It was an easy transaction as they already had the bag of food waiting in the cooler for me. Now for the food, I received a delicious orange cranberry muffin. The label says it was made by Old Town Baking Company in Rancho Cucamonga. My son and I split it and we both agreed it was the best Orange cranberry muffin we have ever had. I also received a nice size cup of soup. I'm not sure what kind of soup it was but it had veggies in it and it was delicious and tasted like it was made from scratch. I also received a large Harvest salad that was nicely put together and I gave it to my bf for his lunch. The last box was a large container with seasoned rice, noodles, broccoli and carrots, caramelized onions and topped with 4 large grilled shrimp. I'm having some of that for lunch today and it is delicious ! This place far exceeded my expectations. The food tastes like it was prepared by an experienced chef and I really appreciate that. I would not mind paying full price knowing the quality of food they serve. Highly recommend.
