I have known about Nancy's for quite some time because it is one of the famous diners that are dotted along former Route 66. There are many in the area and I would say that Nancy May's is one of the better ones. We stopped in for our first time this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was our server's first day on the job and she was extremely sweet and did a great job and so did the kitchen. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and just as we requested. It's in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don't have any outdoor seating and inside is pretty small but in a cozy way. For our first visit, we wanted to start with some of their bakery items so we chose the Cinnamon Roll and the Coffee Cake. They were pretty good, but you could tell they were not homemade and were very cakey. The store bought pastries never seem to be as good as homemade to me. This was not my favorite part of the meal. For my breakfast, I chose the Country Fried Steak and thought it was fantastic. It was not overly cooked and the eggs were done perfectly, I was a big fan of the dish overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a great diner or to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or lunch option.

A Gem of a Brunch Spot! I can't say enough great things about Nancy May's 50's Cafe! Everything on their menu is absolutely delicious, making it nearly impossible to choose just one favorite. The friendly staff truly makes the experience special. Rhonda is hands down the best server around, always attentive and welcoming. What sets this place apart is the incredible customer service--the kitchen staff even comes out to check on you, which adds such a personal touch. And to top it all off, Nancy, the owner, is the kindest soul, making everyone feel like family. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, a warm atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond, Nancy May's 50's Cafe is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

Breakfast Burrito is delicious! The red salsa goes great with it and tastes fresh. The lemon pancake is amazing! I would get the regular syrup on the side so that the lemon isn't overpowering. Walk in and seat yourselves, no need to wait for a table if one is open. The servers are nice and quick to get your coffee and orders. The chef is really good and super nice. Overall a great little spot for a nice 50s style themed breakfast.

The cutest little diner!! 50 's decor! Old photos on the walls and 50's music playing! So perfect! The staff was so nice and dressed like 50's! Breakfast was absolutely perfect!! Priced right! Go! It's so worth it!

We opted for the alfajores, strawberry croissant, and warm ham and cheese croissant. First, the alfajores! Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS! This wonderful South American dessert was properly made and HUGE. The filling and the outside cookie were both perfect -- the flavors felt like a symphony dancing across my tongue. Next, the strawberry croissant: a perfectly flaky pastry filled with creamy, smooth custard that had just the right amount of everything. It was like a dream. Third and finally, the ham and cheese croissant -- OMG! I don't remember ever having a ham and cheese croissant like this before. This was quite possibly the best one I've ever eaten. This little family-owned and operated bakery/coffeehouse is one of my favorites. I highly recommend that anyone passing through stop by and indulge -- and I don't mean a little... go all out and treat yourself! The staff were friendly and quick to assist both during and after ordering. The shop has a great vibe that makes you feel transported from the busy California city hustle to a charming small-town coffeehouse that's been around for 30 years. This is a must-visit spot for everyone!

I did have to drive the block twice to find parking, but locals know this spot pretty well so cars will be in and out of parking spaces in no time. On the plus side, by driving around the block, you will see other businesses and murals that you would want to check out once you visit Mestiza Coffeehouse. The coffeehouse is cashless, so be prepared to pay accordingly. Behind the counter are employees baking and barista-ing all aspects of this place. Upon placing your order be prepared to pick-up your order separately if you order a pastry and a beverage. Speaking of beverages, I ordered a Bees and Flowers...iced. As recommended by the barista. So good! For foods, I ordered a deliciously flaky Almond Croissant, that was topped with sliced almonds and powdered sugar and filled with their house-made almond paste. I highly recommend visiting Mestiza Coffeehouse and shop one of its many vendors of goods in the seating area.

The restaurant and food are definitely giving Hawaii vibes. This is the type of restaurant where you order and pay before they seat you. It took a while to order, but once we were seated our food came out right away. You will more than likely wait in line, but it's worth the wait. They have a lot of staff members that continually check on you at your table. The food is delicious! We both had the loco moco, one with fried rice and one with steamed rice. The fried rice is top tier! We both ordered a side of spam and the Portuguese sausage. Every single thing on our plates was finger licking good, but my favorite thing was my Ube iced coffee. It was delicious and not too sweet which is a huge plus for me. The only downside is that now I want to plan a trip to Hawaii. Lol I highly recommend you go eat at Scramblers Cafe.

We were so surprised and pleased to see they offer a variety of drinks for $3. Shame on me for forgetting to get a picture of that part of the menu but from what I can remember, there was jasmine tea, milk tea, lattes and salted caramel cold brew. We got the salted caramel cold brew, a latte, a halo halo and a ube truffle. Oooh yummy everything was absolutely made to perfection. Getting these types of coffee drinks for under $5 is almost unheard of but I will for sure be back when in Rancho. The cafe is not easy to spot from the parking lot but they do have a sign to lead you there. It looks like a cool place to study or hang out, they have games and a few toys for littles. There is also some seating outside.

The parking is plentiful and easy. The location is fairly quiet and they have all the same selection of items as other locations I've been. They offer a kiosk for ordering but staff can also assist as needed. We ended up ordering a plethora of items for myself and my family. One thing that must be mentioned is they have $3 drinks EVERYDAY on certain drink items. That is an amazing deal! We ended up ordering some Halo Halo for my family, a Thai Tea, Ube Crinkle cookies, Ube Leche Flan cupcake just to name a few. This location has indoor seating and it's well kept and clean. Patio seating is also offered outside. My family enjoyed all the drinks and desserts. Everyone was happy after this visit. I'm happy to know they have this location in the IE. Same great quality of desserts and drinks as other Cafe 86 locations. Thanks, Cafe 86! ( ^_^)b

Didn't even know this place was here, much less that it's in the building of a seminary of the same name! Very cute little cafe. Tons of parking available, at least while we were there. There's ample seating inside but there's also nice tables and chairs outside with the picturesque pond that has geese and ducks. We opted for the outdoor seating. We had to wait a bit to be helped as the ladies behind the counter were super busy getting orders out. The cashier was friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a mixup with the Yelp offer on check-in, but we got it sorted out rather quickly. We each ordered separately, but we ended up ordering the same thing. Apparently they're known for their chicken pesto panini, so we all opted to try it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the pesto was amazing and the roasted red peppers and onions complemented the sandwich perfectly. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to the geese and ducks, there's apparently a resident egret that happened to visit our table. He seemed pretty used to people and appeared to want to join us. I'd never been that close to one before. It was cool but he was also kind of freaking me out lol! Will definitely have to come back here and try more of their menu now that I know they are here! I paid $9.78 total for 1 Deli surprise bag and what I got far surpassed what I paid for it. Starting off with location and parking, it's located inside a big building that is called Gateway Seminary. I didn't know what to expect but it looks just like a regular office building but happens to have a nice view of a man made lake complete with a water feature and ducks! Parking was pretty easy but you may have a far walk across the parking lot if it happens to be full. I got lucky and got a spot near the handicap spaces. There was a girl working outside and I asked her if that was the deli and she said yes and held the door open for me. Inside is like a regular little deli cafe where you order from a counter. Both employees that I talked to were friendly and kind. It was an easy transaction as they already had the bag of food waiting in the cooler for me. Now for the food, I received a delicious orange cranberry muffin. The label says it was made by Old Town Baking Company in Rancho Cucamonga. My son and I split it and we both agreed it was the best Orange cranberry muffin we have ever had. I also received a nice size cup of soup. I'm not sure what kind of soup it was but it had veggies in it and it was delicious and tasted like it was made from scratch. I also received a large Harvest salad that was nicely put together and I gave it to my bf for his lunch. The last box was a large container with seasoned rice, noodles, broccoli and carrots, caramelized onions and topped with 4 large grilled shrimp. I'm having some of that for lunch today and it is delicious ! This place far exceeded my expectations. The food tastes like it was prepared by an experienced chef and I really appreciate that. I would not mind paying full price knowing the quality of food they serve. Highly recommend.
