They gave me a good price competitive to online and other local shops that I called so I went with this company again they got tires for me the next day gave me a call brought the car and dropped it off. They had it done within an hour hour and a half. great A+ there. Tires are awesome exactly what I expected. Service was really nice. AJ was great.. I guess my only nitpick is that the rims and the tires were very dirty and greasy when I got the car back. I called on the phone to request a quote on tires, as instructed on their website. The service rep who answered just told me to 'bring the car in'. When I asked him I wanted a quote, he seemed annoyed and asked for the tire size. I did not have this information. I wanted to provide him with the car make and model... but he ONLY wanted the tire size. When I couldn't provide it, he abruptly hung up, rather than offer to further assist me. We bought 40,000 mile warranty tires that were bald after 20,000 miles and they basically told us we bought cheap tires and couldn't do anything for us. We even had them rotated and serviced at Lees's every time as well to keep them in good condition. They never mentioned anything about excessive or uneven wear and offered us no option to get a partial refund or apply a discount toward future tires. I went right when it opened and they were able to assist me asap. I had a nail on my tire and they were able to tell me right away whether it could be patched or not. I had to replace the tire so they were able to order one within the same day for the replacement. They were quick with my requests and efficient. Have been here twice in the last 18 months. This past weekend just to patch our tire that had a nail in it. Dropped the car off first thing in the morning, had a call within the hour to come back and pick it up. Damage was just $25 to fix it. Last time we had to replace the tire and it was like 100-150 something like that to replace. They gave me options and I chose the cheaper one. It's usually a day or same day turn around. I've had a couple of flat tires and they helped me out. The staff is friendly and they do their best to accommodate everyone. It's first come first serve, so come early and you'll be in and out. They can also give you quotes on tires and let you know when they'll arrive. Prices aren't bad at all. There's parking in the front of their shop and it can get busy as the day goes. Get here early since they open at 730am! They accept visa, Mastercard, Amex, and discover. I've always had good experience with Lee's Tires, but this time it's a little different. I came in to get a tire patched. It was a pretty slow day for them it seems since there was only about 2 cars being worked on when I checked-in. It took them like 30 mins to patch my tire. In my head I was like, sometimes taking your time working on something is good because as the saying goes "slow and steady wins the race". I was kind of hoping that they will take care of my wheel since they're taking their sweet time for 1 tire to patch. Yes they did the patch, but in the process damaging my wheels. The guy that worked on my wheel kept on asking, "everything good"? It seems that he knew he fucked up and was waiting for me to comment. I've told one of the service advisors and all he said was "sorry about that bro" after showing him the damage. I was so pissed and just left. I went here to fix a leaking tire. They patched it and claimed it would not hold air. Then they plugged it and patched it and claimed it would not hold air still. AJ tried to sell me a 50$ used tire that's not an exact match with my other new tires. I told AJ the head guy that I did not think that was true. He lied to my face and said sometimes the patches don't hold. (Mine was a small cut in the center of the treads) The next tire shop said it was a terrible job and they did not grind down the patch area at all And that's why it wasn't holding! AJ has an attitude problem and turns his back and walks away while saying I'll be in the office. He knew that I knew he is a liar. My father raised me to never trust a liar. In hopes of saving others time, money, and heartache, don't trust these liars. He did not charge me. Because I was not happy to be lied to in my face. I didn't even tell the next tire shop anything. I had such a terrible experience just now at Lees tires in Lomita. I went to get my brakes evaluated and see if I needed to get them changed. They weren't making any noise. However, when I go down a large hill, my car shakes a little bit. I came in today (3/29/24) at 2:30 PM. I spoke to. A.J. Hernando and let him know my concerns. A side note... I told him that I called last week and mentioned they would check my brakes for free (he concurred). During them checking my brakes A.J came out of the font office and told me that I needed new brakes for the rear bc they were "metal to metal" and that the rotors needed re-surfacing. I told him I was surprised about the metal to metal rear brakes because I don't hear anything when I break there's no noise or there's no indication on my car that I need new brakes (I have a 2018 Lexus). However, I proceeded to ask him how much all of this would cost and he said $420.00. I said wow that is really expensive. I cannot afford that. I told him let's do the rear brakes for now. Mind you at this time he was already rushing me to make up my mind because he kept saying they're about to close and not taking any new cars (again this is at 2:30 PM). Within minutes I called my brothers and told them both via 3-way that the service was going to be $420.00 for everything! They immediately told me that is a rip off and to say no. They also told me to double check what they said and look at the brakes yourself. I went into the front office and spoke to AJ again and asked him if I could see the brakes. He said yes. I went to see the brakes and it did not look like it was metal, and that instance, I told the mechanic put the tires back. I'm not going to change my brakes here anymore. I went back inside the office and let AJ know. I said Thank you for checking my brakes, I will not be getting the service. Then he proceeded very rudely and said that will be $40.00 and I said for what? he said because they were going to start working on your brakes. I said that's not true he just barely took the tires off. He proceeded to argue with me and say that I owe $40.00. I told him that I was told and you concurred that it was free of charge to check the brakes, I don't remember what he said after that but all he kept saying was you owe $40.00. at this point I told him that this is not customer service and would like to speak to a manager. He chuckled (laughed) and said I am the manager and I said to him I don't wanna speak to you is there someone else he said the owner and I said OK what is your name and he again chuckled again and said, there is my card "go ahead" go ahead as in, let the owner know. I said I will I have a pretty large following and I'll make sure to leave a review and then all of a sudden he changed his mind and said don't worry I won't charge you $40.00 just leave. I was very upset after he said that to me and walked outside of the business. Got my car and left. This is no way how to speak to a repeated customer I think he just felt comfortable talking to me like this because i am a girl. I had no clue as to how much something like this would cost and I felt like he took advantage of my naiveness. my brothers were right - to stay away from places like this, and I will definitely do so in the future. This was very hurtful experience. I hope he if he has daughters no one will speak to them and treat them like he did me. Very unprofessional person definitely not manager material. Just had a full brake job done on my car. I usually do these things myself because I'm cheap and actually enjoy wrenching on my car so I bought all the parts myself. However , old age has not been kind so I brought my car to Lee's for installation. A lot of shops don't want to install customer provided parts, which I understand, but Lee's had no problem with that. AJ and Josh greeted me at reception and were both friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. 3 hours later my car was finished. Memo was mechanic on my car and he was GREAT. He went over all the replaced parts and which brakes had the most wear. He was very impressive and he knew his business. He taught me a thing or two for sure. I've used Lee's for many years and I still find them very convenient, professional and fairly priced. Lee's Tires should be avoided at all cost. Even if you live down the block, go elsewhere. The service advisor AJ Hernando is horrible. Zero stars. 1) AJ Hernando's record keeping is terrible - he opens several accounts under your name and can't track what he has done easily. 2) AJ Hernando tries to sell women 4 tires when they only need 2 tires. This is after 2 new tires were purchased at the shop for the same car 1 year prior and those 2 tires were still in great shape. 3) AJ Hernando doesn't listen to the customer and is condescending. When confronted with this he retorts "I speak in code, huh?" Stay away! I hope that Lee's closes and goes out of business. read more

They broke my brake sensor while installing brake pads because they carelessly left the harness dangling in a zip tie rather than hooking it back up correctly which ended up rubbing against the axle. See pic. but they sent me elsewhere to fix it because they don't do such repairs. Cost me $200 and they will not take accountability for it even after i gave them multiple chances thru phone calls and visits to offer me a reasonable remedy. I was told to change front pads, front, rear rotors and rear pads (rear multiple times) at only 8,000-12,000 miles because they could not stop the hissing, squeaky noise from brakes which started the day they installed new pads. Was told consistently for 9 months that squeaking is "normal" and that it'll eventually go away. Also Unnecessary rotor change which resulted in more squeaking which started the minute i was driving out of Lee's. Manager told me to wait it out. Took the car in total of 6 times in an 11 month period for squeakiness which never stopped. They repeatedly sprayed and machined the rotors which apparently damaged them further. They will not acknowledge neglect. Both manager and attendant confidently told me on multiple occasions that squeaky noise after an install is normal, and should go away in a week or two after they "spray" something. Brakes also halt very roughly and makes a cranking noise. I returned again and again and they repeatedly told me it'll go away eventually and that absolutely no damage is being done to my parts. Now they "offered" to charge me $900 for new factory rotors at wholesale price plus new pads when my already- new rotors are only 1,000 miles old. read more

I am very upset with the quality of service I received at this shop. All of my brand new wheels were damaged by them. I'm looking forward to see how they handle this situation. Update 12/15/220: The shop acknowledged and has taken accountability for the damage. The manager agreed to have a wheel repair company repair the damage at their cost. Thanks to AJ/Josh for reporting and handling this appropriately. For the record, customer service was never an issue here. The office staff and shop technicians are all awesome here. There is just a void in their system when checking and reporting damages that occur to customer's property. Furthermore they need to make sure their mounting and balancing equipment prevent damage to wheels. This kind of situation happens at all tire shops. On a previous occasion I went to Allen Tire in Torrance to get a different set of new wheels and tires mounted and balanced and they damaged the brand new wheels as well. So I choose to come here this time around. Unfortunately damaged still occurred. Hopefully this will help the shop with a retraining opportunity. Thanks for making things right with the repair offer. I went here to get some oem lugs installed on my car. Josh gave me a quote in person for $40 but he asked me to come back since they're busy for the day. I waited 3 days and went on a Tuesday morning. Josh wasn't there so AJ took my keys and advised me they would call me when it's done. 3.5hrs later he calls and tells me that they will have to charge me $250. I told him I had them install those extended lugs a while back and they only charged me $100 extra with the spacers installation. Spacers by the way are very easy to install. It's just a direct slap on the rotors. With that being said, I don't understand why all of a sudden AJ would try to hit me with a crazy price of $250 when they already did the same job for $100?!!! I've been to Lee's tires a few times and I'm afraid this would be my last because of this AJ guy who tried to scam me with his outrageous pricing. He even told me "if I don't like their price, then why don't I do it myself". Really?... Lee's tires seemed like a good place to get stuff done on my car but with this dude working there, I don't know if I'll ever come back. He's just unreasonable and very annoying to deal with. He's a complete opposite of Josh who knows proper customer service. Avoid this place if you can as there are a ton of choices out there. The wait at Lee's by the way is rediculous! read more
