We went there for brunch this past weekend. Nice decor and a massive place with indoor and outdoor seating. We had the Salmon Benedict and fried calamari and coffees. The food was 4.5/5.0. 1st coffee was luke warm bottom of the pot version which was replaced with a hot fresh brewed one which 1 coffee is $ 6.00 buyer beware. The service was slow for not a busy time at 11:15 AM. It seemed our waiter was more interested in the cute blonde bartender than he was servicing customers. The portions I might ad were BIG and very filling. We will go back for the lunch special prefix 3 course for $29.00/person. One final note .... check your bill before paying as we found an error in the restaurants favor that the menu price was less than the price billed. read more

Where do I start? Is there an option for no stars ?!? Went last night with a reservation for 8:45. They explained our whole table needed to be here before we could be seated . We were all there at 8:52. Checked in and they said it would be a minute. After waiting 45 mins and watching other agitated parties not seated from reservations 745 and on they told us they had a room upstairs. We took it just to be seated. little did we know it was literally a library room . You had to go behind a bar area to get to library room. Dinner was sub par and drinks weren't any better . I went to the bathroom and of the 3 stalls upstairs one had vomit covering the toilet bowel and floor, while the other 2 were clogged and not flushing. This place is a true dump. Horrible experience! Went for a friends birthday for a 830pm reservation, they totally forgot about us even tho they said someone would get us shortly, they never did. We were offered a table for 4 in which there was 7 of us and the guy promised he'd find us a bigger table but this was just for drinks. He disappeared and someone else took the table. A short blonde woman came up to us asking if we were waiting here we ended up telling her what happened in which by now it was about 10pm she said this was unacceptable offered 50% off our bill and first drinks on her. We sat down 10 mins later at a bigger table ordered food that took another hour and as soon as we got our food EVERYTHING WAS COLD. I kid you not. COLD. Does anyone else eat cold steak and potatoes?? I asked to speak to a manger in which I felt like he was trying to gaslight the situation and kept saying sorry "but" this and that which is 1000000% unacceptable! We got new food another hour later which at this point it was after midnight. My whole party's mood was just over EVERYTHING. We asked for the check and to go packages but THE BILL WAS NOT 50% off. I ask to speak to the manager again privately in where he told me that he spoke the the blonde lady and she said she never said that, even though another server was there to hear it. So at this point I'm over everything this whole place the food. Everything. I went out with few friends, and we had a spot at the bar, 2 chairs to be specific. The night was going well, had a great time, great atmosphere. Bartender was great, service was great. Food was pricey for its' quality but ok, you can't have it all right. :) A couple that had a reservation next to us came later and they were hanging out. Around midnight more of their friends came by and they had to stand, like most of us. I'm standing by my chair, dancing, having fun when all of the sudden I was approached by the security guard that was standing by the DJ. HE ASKED ME IF I CAN MOVE OVER (so his friends have more room, I'm assuming they are friends), I SAID NO, THIS IS MY CHAIR AND MY SPOT AND I'M NOT MOVING. There was nowhere to move anyway. If you come here , you know this place is packed. HE KEEPS ON ASKING ME TO MOVE AND I KEPT TELLING HIM NO WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN HE GRABS MY ARM AND TELLS ME " IF YOU KEEP DOING THIS I WILL HAVE TO ESCORT YOU OUT"! WTF!!!???? Escort me out for what, for standing by my spot, where our bags and drinks are!!!??? I turned towards the bar, shaking and angry and started shaking my head. We were very not happy ! We got there before our guests sat at bar my husband had a martini and me a wine ! He just wanted some bread because he was drinking in a empty stomach ! They take our coats then proceed to take us outside to a igloo it's 13 degrees and most of our guest are over 70 so we go back in walking back and forth with out our coats . Went on Saturday night, restaurant was full indoor and out. We sat outdoors to the side of the restaurant and ambience was nice, fun music. Wait staff wore masks and were pleasant and attentive. Food was good, nicely presented. Of the three raw fish dishes we like the tuna tartare best, seasoned w sesame oil. Saganake cheese appetiser was our favourite. Vegetable chips for the table is a good app to share. Tuna entree was good, a little under seasoned. I went here because I heard great things about this restaurant and it looked beautiful. We came to dinner last weekend I started off with a drink from the menu and so did my fiance. Our drinks tasted awful so we ordered different drinks and we still thought it tasted gross. When our food came it was very disappointing. The octopus was rock hard. TL;DR - Never Again, waiters and manager we engaged with were very condescending. If I could rate them a 0 based on service I would. Please note, we had to make reservations 30+ days in advance with the condition we spend a minimum of $140 a guest. Not a problem, we're drinkers. We were a group of 17 ready for an amazing time. The experience on 12/3: - Waited over an hour to be seated and were not seated until 10 pm. We were all at the bar drinking and waiting. After multiple inquiries on the status of our table, based on response from staff they overbooked. When we were finally given a table we had 4 guests without chairs as if the number of guests was a news flash and not in their system for over 30 days. We ordered drinks. - 10:15 pm we received tap water - 10:20 pm bread arrived - 10:25 pm partial drinks arrive along w/ hummus & pita - 10:30 menus arrived, for viewing since they never took our order (it was family style but I expect to be asked about the main dish since it was between steak or fish). In less than 5 minutes appetizers arrived. We had a diabetic guest which was very overwhelming to deal with considering the lack of food then a fast paced service not even allowing us to have enough table space for it all. - 10:50 pm we followed up on the remaining drinks ordered - 11:00 pm drinks were provided, FINALLY after an hour - 11:38 pm, dinner arrived, who wants to eat dinner close to midnight and tomorrow's calories - I requested mine to go and never saw the food again. After eating the thinnest sea bass of my life I became nauseous, cannot say with full certainty that it was causal. Either way, I requested ginger ale from a waiter nearby. He asked me if i knew where my waiter was, I was bewildered, how can I know where he is? Waited another 15 min and asked if he could get it instead. He said no, my waiter must. Now another 15 min have passed and I said my nausea isn't subsiding if he could please get my ginger ale and I'd pay him cash on the spot. He went to the back for 10 min and got me a cloth bag to vomit in. Needless to say, I'm disappointed and still nauseous. At this pace I'm about to lose another hour of partying - that is unacceptable. So I walked myself into the kitchen to get my own drink because clearly they are understaffed. Grant it that isn't recommended but I was desperate. While there a kind young lady (believe her name was Liliana) brought me the ginger ale and I will be forever grateful for her. She understood basic customer service and even checked up on me later in the night. If the remainder of their staff had 30% of her customer obsession they'd (your staff) be a lot more successful. We had a b'day cake that took about an hour to bring out so we were not able to cut it. They brought out their own desserts instead then the cake for pictures but weren't able to have the server serve the cake anymore since it was the end of the night. As a group we were vocal due to the subpar experience. Staff was condescending and behaved as if they were doing us a favor. Manager offered to comp our drinks from the table only but the vast majority of the drinking happened at the bar while we waited for over an hour. Then they offered a few other discounts and claimed it was his limit. We wanted them to acknowledge that what we experienced wasn't acceptable but they refused. Excuse after excuse to justify the series of unfortunate events. Since we are a friendly happy crowd, other people were kind enough to make us aware the owner was there so we escalated our issue and after our discussion with the owner we received an additional % off from our bill. In the end, the lack of service trumped the food and atmosphere. If you make the customer the foundation of your business you'll achieve great things - nothing better than the voice of the customer to promote your business but it can also be its detriment. read more

Made reservations for 8pm for 7 of us because on their website it said that the music/DJ was supposed to start at 8. The food and drinks were overpriced for a table that squeezed us in with no place to put everything we ordered while we had waiters and folks walking behind us bumping onto our bags every single time. Once we sat I asked when the music starts and the waiter said oh at 9:45 or so but you have to get up at 10 because we have other reservations, but you can speak to the floor manager and he can accommodate you. Spoke to him about this situation noting that on their website it says that music starts at 8 hence us making the reservations for 8. He wouldn't address that but said oh I'll get you a place to stay but I need you to have the table available at 10. Overall his promises and commitments continued many times after that and they were all lies! He never accommodated us but kept on saying "oh 5 more min" I'll have something for you. He also said I'll get you ladies a round a drinks but go to the other side of the bar. Obviously that never happens and he simply wanted us to get off his case of asking questions around his continuous committment. The place was packed and clearly overbooked and the management of this place was lacking to say the least. None of us will ever go back and we'll make sure we let anyone else know that this place is only trying to make money and not at all give proper customer service. Time limit for 7 people was 2hrs and we couldn't even finish our desserts or drinks because we had to release the table. I was recently there on a Saturday evening made reservations well in advance for a party of four arrived early and spent over two hours waiting to be seated .. after speaking to the manager and hostess countless times nothing was ever done. I completely understand times are difficult and the restaurant may be understaffed but I've never seen so many managers and so little waiters. After complaining numerous times we gave up and just left and they didn't even seem to care. We try to be as patient as possible but after seeing that they didn't care at all it was enough for us to leave and to make sure that we never return. I would NEVER recommend this under any circumstances, but especially NOT with a larger group I usually don't write bad reviews, but feel it's important to warn others so they don't get scammed by this place. This restaurant charge top-dollar for services they fail to provide due to mismanagement & short staffing. SERVICE- This place is a disaster and none of the employees here know what's going on. We had a reservation for 9:30pm-ended up being seated at 10:10pm. Despite knowing our reservation size, we were seated at a table that was too small for our group and didn't have enough chairs. Locating more chairs and tables took about 20 minutes where members of the group had to awkwardly stand and wait while appetizers were being served. We did not receive waters for the table until approx 45 mins after being seated. FOOD- We had a table for about 20 people at $190 per plate total including apps, a main course, dessert, and "open" bar. We had ONE waiter who had multiple other tables with large groups. I ordered the steak and fingerling potatoes which was just okay. They gave me the wrong plate at first, then swept it out from under me and immediately gave it to another guest. However, I hadn't had 4 bites of my meal before it was cleaned off the table and thrown out when I stepped away from the table for a minute to try to find the waiter who was MIA the entire time. Nobody asked me if I was done with it. What a huge waste of money and food. We also had paid for dessert to be included our package which was NEVER brought out. Most of us went home hungry and we all paid for food that was never served. DRINKS- Save your money with the "open bar" add-on to this place. They'll gladly take your money for this service, yet don't assign a designated person to manage drinks orders from your table. Most of our group had their main course served before they had their first drink served because the waiter was MIA trying to juggle 100 other tables. I ordered the same 2 vodka-sodas 5 times which took WELL OVER AN HOUR to come out, at which point I couldn't have them because I was driving. When the 2 drinks did finally come out, they were the wrong drink. Also, I must have asked 6 different employees throughout the evening for a round of shots for our table which NEVER came out. All in all, I was charged for open bar yet was sober the entire time because they don't actually have the staff to provide this service by taking orders and bringing drinks to the table. I informed not 1 but 2 managers of the situation going on with our table and nothing was done except being comp'd $15 for 1 drink, despite paying for an open bar. A TOTAL SCAM. AMBIANCE- I've been in Amtrak bathrooms cleaner than this place (see photo below). People throw napkins all over your food as you try to eat. The music is good, definitely too loud. The biggest problem is the crowd control. They let in anyone off the street into this place to the bar to the point that they can't even serve their own patrons. This place was so over-capacity on a Saturday night to the point I felt unsafe. Also, it's relevant to include that when I brought up the issues with service to the male and female managers at the front of the house, they immediately got into a screaming match with each other and went nose-to-nose screaming with the waiter directly in front of my face in a huge argument which was completely unprofessional. OVERALL- I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. This dishonest establishment will steal from patrons by charging for food and services that are NOT provided. When the issue was brought up to managment, I was comp'd $15 for a drink when I had the open bar package & was only served 1 drink despite trying to order 20 times. Also, our dessert was NEVER served. A complete failure of managment on every level. This place has gone significantly down hill. We live in the area and have come here a lot of times. The new manager (a guy) is rude AF. We were there on a Friday night, showed up 5 minutes late to our 6:15 reservation. The hostess had mentioned we had a two hour cap on our table for 8 people, which we said was fine. After we had appetizers, which ended at 7 we asked to wait a bit for our mains. Our waiter agreed. 4 minutes later the manager walks to our table, looked that we still had appetizer plates that haven't cleared and said "you guys haven't ordered your mains?" Proceeded to look at his watch and then said "you only have an hour and a half left" and then walked away. It was VERY rude. Mind you the restaurant was half empty as well. We ended up ordering our mains and it was a friends birthday so we asked for dessert. The manager came back to our table and said we can't order dessert at the table that we had to pack it up if we wanted. We had 10 minutes "left" on the table. Again, we told him we are repeat customers (been there about 4 times) and no one's treated us this way, it's our friends birthday let us have a dessert while the bill is getting made and paid. The waiter brought the dessert, he was told not to bring silverware by the manager cause he didn't want us eating the two bites of cake they gave us as dessert. The waiter said we had to pack it. After we told him by the time we are done splitting the bill and paying we would have been done, so he brought the silver ware. We left the table and then decided to speak to the "manager" (he seemed new since we've been there a bunch and it was always someone else), he denied timing our table, saying we had a limit and that we were just wasting time. He said he'd "take care of us the next time we come back" and gave us his card which I threw away- wish I kept it so you all can see his name and avoid avoid avoid avoid. Lefkes your new manager is rude, your service has gone down Hill and your food and overall experience is not worth it. I WOULD NEVER recommend this place. Save your money. read more

She gave me a few recommendations and I must say I was impressed because everything was as good as she described. I loved the decor in here and the modern touches... wasn't a fan of the random blue glasses on the wall but that's besides the point... I got the stuffed calamari and it was flavorful but I was not a fan of the consistency and wished it was cut calamari. My friends ordered the Greek salad as well as some sushi rolls and the burger and said it was all really good.
