I literally got a pedicure done yesterday for Labor Day weekend and not even a full 24 hours my second toe is infected i got a detox pedicure that cost me 50$ which I don't mind spending to be pampered and I did give the nail tech 15$ tip but not realizing that my toe is very swollen and I myself is a nail tech shouldn't feel unsafe and have to thoroughly clean my toe to prevent any further infection. I notice my toe was bleeding but maybe cause I did have a ingrown toenail but it shouldn't have this much pain within such short time. read more

**Update** I went back today and had them redone by Jason. He tried out a couple of pinks to make sure they would be opaque enough. He was extremely meticulous and made sure everything was perfect. He even redid a nail without my asking, just because it wasn't to his standards. Jason was incredibly friendly and I will absolutely go back to him. I also spoke with the manager, who was super understanding about my disappointment with my service on Sunday. He thanked me for giving them a second chance, and I'm so glad I went back. First and foremost, the spa itself is gorgeous. Very luxurious, no expense spared in decor. After reading reviews about iffy manicures, I was hopeful that they were just a fluke and decided to visit Legacy Nails anyway. Sadly, I have to admit that I'm rather disappointed. My nails were a treat to myself to celebrate my upcoming baby shower. I visited the shop on Tuesday, 3/22 for a pedicure and a full set of NextGen and by the following Monday (six days later), over half of them were lifting and some had already fallen off. I am extremely careful with nails - no longterm exposure to water, cautious as to not catch them on hard surfaces, etc. For how pricey their services are, you'd think they'd last longer. I've paid $10 less for a full set at other salons and had them last a full three weeks. I spent about $120 at Legacy and not only was the pedicure lackluster, my nails were ruined less than a week from the time I got them. My toenails were shaped and painted nicely, at least. All in all, not worth the drive or the cost in my opinion. Respectfully, there are many, many nail salons both in Frisco and in Plano that will offer better customer service and a better product. read more

What all would you expect from an acrylic manicure? I just got my nails done and paid $65 for an acrylic set. But the guy only put my acrylics on and painted them. He acted like I was a nuisance for being there and just slapped them on and said "thanks". I literally sat and cried in m6 car because they looked terrible. My cuticles were still disgusting and my hands were so dry from the sanding of my fingernails. I'm so non-confrontational, but I just paid $150 between my mani and pedi and my hands look disgusting. So I went back. I called first and explained to Michelle, the manager. She said to come back so she could see. So I went back. I told her I just really wanted a partial refund so I could go somewhere else, because everyone in that salon was staring at me and I was so uncomfortable I wanted to crawl out of my skin. She was really blunt and just said "No. I'll fix. I'm not refunding. I had to pay for supplies to do it." I told her I really just wanted a little bit of my money back, I didn't want them to continue working on my nails. She said no. So I left and I'm going to try to find a different salon to just go take the acrylics off and do dip. Gordon at Legacy Nails and Spa is the one who butchered my finger nails. Jennifer did my pedicure and she was nice and the polish turned out okay, but once I got home I realized how scratchy and DEFINITELY not soft my feet were....after paying for the most bougie pedicure they offer. The manager called me after I anonymously posted in the local moms group, and asked me what the problem was...again. She kept insisting I just didn't like the color, and I shouldn't have done matte, etc. I told her it was fine. I just wanted a partial refund. She said she can't because the transaction on my card wasn't complete yet, and that if I paid cash she could just give me that money back. She made it sound like she was going to refund me? But then I asked if I called her back later, once the transaction "was complete" if she could refund it then. And she said no, because she offered to "give me a color I like". I went to a different salon, and they did so much better and didn't make me feel like I was bothering them by being there- plus my new manicure (including taking this crap off) was still cheaper than the service I paid for at Legacy. read more

Worst pedicure ever and they reuse the parrafin wax. Just ask. SORT REVIEWS TO THE NEWEST FIRST. PLACE HAS CHANGED OWNERSHIP AND GOING DOWNHILL FAST. Didn't even do a good job painting my toes. So if you want to get your feet wet and have someone do a subpar paint job, go for it. So disappointed! This is absolutely not a fake review. I was picking up my wedding dress with my best friend at David's bridal across the street and decided for an impromptu girls treat with her daughter. I will edit this review AGAIN shortly with my receipt from the pedicure. Wow. Nice to know how you treat unsatisfied customers. I know what I asked and I know what I was told. My friend even changed her mind about the wax after we were told this. Always super friendly, never a wait time, and (for someone who has super sensitive nails and always have nail techs that burn me), I have never once been in pain during/after my appt! They got me in last minute for pedicure and Nexgen. Saved my life, reputation and probably my marriage! When the hubs says, "GO! Get your your nails done! You are no longer allowed in this house with those THINGS!" - I scurry. Pedicure was reeeeeeelaxing. I'm 3.2 pounds lighter from the amount she had to scrape off my feet (super hot). She tackled these feet like the pro she clearly is! Well done, pedicurist! My Nexgen was speedy and precise (sorta like my housekeeping skills). She was no-nonsense and got the job done (mic drop)! I don't often travel outside of the Frisco Bubble. However, I may push myself to do so more often to visit this wonderful establishment (oh, I also received TWO cups of wine). read more

Legacy Nails and Spa is Amazing! The first time I walked in the door I was overwhelmed by the gorgeous decor, the chandeliers sparkle like diamonds. The pedi chairs are so comfortable. But the Glass Waterfall is mesmerizing. I go every 2 weeks for mani, the spa is so clean, the music is so relaxing. Michelle is the best she does my nails perfectly every time ! And the massage I get with pedis are so relaxing. You can also enjoy a glass of wine or champagne. The presentation of the trays they bring out for manicure and pedicures are beautiful. We made an appointment for 2:30 and had to wait a few minutes longer than we had hoped, but it gave us plenty of time to dither over nail colors and drink some wine. I love the taupey gel color I went with for my mani, and my friend loved her NexGen mani with ombré glitter tips. Bebe gave my natural nails a super cute almond shape as I asked, and my friend's tech a coffin shape. Massages were very lackluster for us both, but this may be because we didn't get a foo-foo mani. Also, I'm a "I wish I could have a massage every day" kinda gal so there is never enough massage imo. Salon was clean and modern, with plenty of parking around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. No cuts or nicks for either of us, which is super. We'll definitely give this place another try for pedicures! read more

Good experience at Legacy Nails & Spa. Stopped in after work and was seated right away. Love that all of the supplies and tools are in sealed bags and water bowls are lined. The salon was bright and clean. I was offered a drink. My nail tech offered a suggestion for a glitter top coat and it turned out pretty. The base classic pedi included a massage and callus removal. Wow, this was not a good experience. It was a big place, very spacious and perfectly nice. I got a pedicure and a manicure. First of all, I was not offered a drink. Secondly, the girl who did the pedicure seemed very inexperienced. The massage was so light that it was basically someone rubbing lotion on your calves and feet and not in any way like a massage. The paint job was very streaky. The woman who did the manicure was so aggressive and rough. When she was cutting my cuticles, it was so painful The paint job was not good on my nails either. I have never had an experience at ANY nail salon like the one I had here. They listened to my requests and before continuing to the next step asked for my approval. They didn't force their opinions about how I wanted my nails- I felt like they worked WITH me and asked me questions to get my desired results. The staff was very friendly and respectful. Horrible experience. The nail experience itself wasn't the worst. She drilled over my fingers and hurt me a couple of times, but was polite and said sorry. I could get over that because it happens. Granted it happened much more than any other time I've gotten my nails done. But I was willing to look past it. She then started in on the color and down the appointment went. She stuck her finger to mine with the polish. Dipping powder was everywhere. As in covering her, covering me, covering the table. Since there was extra polish everywhere the powder stuck to my skin. I was told that it would come off if I washed my hands with soap. After washing three times it was still everywhere. I asked for it to be cleaned up and the excuse was it stained her table too. My fingers were kind of wiped off and then I was sent on my way with polish all over my fingers and the worst looking manicure I've ever had. read more

I do not understand these 5 Star reviews. I came in with my sister in law who's in town visiting. I asked the lady at the desk if they can do designs, she said yes, any designs you like from Pinterest we can do. I sit down and try to find colors like the ones online. Finally choose a red, strip and floral set of nails for them to copy. I show my manicurist, she basically laughs in my face and goes "nope can't do that." Okay..... then she shows the girl who's doing my sister in laws nails and she laughs too. So now I'm wondering why I chose to spend so much money here. Then the lady doing my sister in laws nails bring out some wax treatment that's included in her service and I'm like that doesn't look/smell like eucalyptus spearmint (the scent she chose) , it looks like tangerine (which she didn't choose). She brought the wrong scent, but it was no big deal. Then while we're talking away I decided not to be so difficult and just get a simple white heart on my red nails. Still cost me $5 each nail plus the $47 manicure/next gen powder total. Then I look at the menu that's sitting on the entrance when you walk in and under the manicure I chose it says "rose mask, lotion, paraffin wax, and massage" I go, since I didn't get a rose mask, can you just subtract it from the price? She says no it doesn't come with it, the menu is wrong. Are you joking me?! The menu you have at the entrance is wrong and now you're not willing to make it right? That's total crap. Long story longer, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Anywhere is better than this nail salon. read more
