The thing I appreciate the most is that they are very open and honest about what actually needs to be fixed vs can be deferred. I've also always felt comfortable declining services and never felt pressured to get anything that I didn't need to. One time we had a tire puncture and thought we were going to get it repaired at the shop but quickly realized we would need all four tires replaced so decided to get it done at Costco tire center. There are a lot of cars in the lot but if you make an appointment they'll honor your appointment time slot and take your vehicle in immediately. Be careful on pulling into the driveway, it's a sharp right and traffic flow pretty steady on the Main Street; if you're driving too fast you may miss the turn.

Sometimes the work is fine and sometimes its not. Too often I drive out with a new problem that I did not have before. A year ago this happened with the Steering Gear Box, which started making a grinding noise as soon as I left the lot. I had to bring it back and pay for a new one. Today, I brought it in for a few minor issues and an inspection and oil change. I also asked them to look at the rear end because I was sometimes experiencing a light "clunk" when I would drive over bumps. They told me the rear differential was making that noise. It seemed odd to me that the rear differential would be the cause. So I told them it was not a big enough issue at the moment to justify $3,000 for a new rear differential. I drove it home and - voila - the rear differential is now making a grinding noise (it was not before). The clunk is still there, but that is not on them. I am not going back because I never know if I am going to drive out with more problems than I came in with.

Really feels like they treat your car how they'd treat their own cars: what needs to be done that will keep your car in great shape, but not overselling on costlier options. Feels like you can always go bigger and better with regard to car repair: do I want a fluid change or flush? Do I want the premium or ULTRA premium brake pads? You can almost hear KC rolling his eyes over the phone when he advises the option that gets the job done even if it's not the one that other shops tell you is worth the costly splurge.

Jack recommended the door be replaced if he could find a replacement. He went on line immediately and found a door. He quoted a price somewhere between 700 to 800 dollars for the whole job. I accepted and he ordered the door that fortunately was completely free of corrosion. He transferred all of the door electrics and window mechanism to the new door. The door fit was perfect and all systems worked. All of the minor paint blemishes were touched up and he polished the headlights to remove the lens haze that occurs on older vehicles. The price was just over $700 and the car looked brand new. I have used Jack before and he is so pleasant to work with and he always goes over and above with his work. Cannot recommend him highly enough. He's an honest, skillful, quiet mannered guy who is totally reliable.
