If I could give zero stars I would. It makes me wonder if this business is under new ownership Walked In at 11am for lunch. One female employee was sitting at a table with a group of people and one female employee was sitting on a bar stool at the bar talking to a guy. As I stood at the counter for a couple of minutes the female employee sitting at the table with the group of people finally decided to come to the counter to help me. I ordered my food took my number and began looking for a place to sit. As I walked into the back room near the men's bathroom I found several dirty tables with plates and cups still on them. I sat down and then waited 20 mins for my food. When I finally walked back to the counter, I saw my food just sitting there. I asked the employee sitting at the bar if I could have my food and she says "oh that's your food?" She then hands me my plate of food and says "sorry about that." I carry my food to my table and start to eat. My fries are cold as is my cheesesteak. The food just wasn't good today. The cheese on my cheesesteak wasn't even melted. I have been coming here a long time and I have never seen service like this or had food that wasn't very good. I hope the owner reads his so they can fix the problems with the service and food. If your employees have time to sit at the bar and at a table with others then they have time to clean tables. read more

Golfing at the golf course is fun but Ive never had the opportunity to eat at Legends. You can come in and just eat if you wish to. I was working across the street this day and my counter part offered to take me for lunch. You order from the counter and then find your seat and they give you a number and bring your food once its done. I went with the San Francisco Crab Melt and a Green Salad on the side with Ranch dressing. My partner got a Grilled Chicken Pasta dish that looked great. For a diner type place the food is pretty good. The one complaint I had was that the crab on my sandwich was luke warm. More like body temperature. I would have like it to be hotter. The bread was a perfect fit for this sandwich too. I really liked lunch here. I think you could even bring a baby in here for lunch. I would anyway. That's up to you though. Legends and Heroes is a Sports Bar and the 19th hole for the Diablo Creek Golf Course on Port Chicago Highway near Highway 4 and Interstate 680. Unlike many Golf Course clubhouses with hugely overprices food and empty venues, this place is a full sports bar, with several large rooms, a large patio from where you can view the driving range, and lots of TVs. Each TV has a schedule of the games it will show, whether it is Saturday College Football, Sunday Pro, or Monday night. On Monday nights during football season they give out raffle tickets and have a drawing, with prizes like free ticket to their BBQ dinner they offer each Monday from the patio. Often you will find clusters of fans in their gear in front of the TV of their particular team, whether it is the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Seattle Seahawks, or any other team ont TV. They have the full TV sports packages, so they offer a lot of choices. A lot of regulars come here to root for their team or relax after a round of golf or hitting a bucket or two at the range. The food is what you would expect from a Sports Bar. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, beers, etc. The food is better than Hooters and not as good as TGIF/Chilis. A French Dip sandwich is $8.99 with fries, and served au Jus. A soda is $2.35, but it comes in a huge glass of about 30 oz. Most of the hot sandwiches with fries and large salads are about $8 - $11. The service is friendly, depending on how busy it is when you order. They have table service as well as a small bar area. It is actually one of the better sports bars around, with a regular following from a variety team's fans, not just the local teams. If you are a transplant to the East Bay and root for other teams than the local ones, go here and find a fellow faithful fan. read more

We have been in Legends twice in the last week. We came in on Thursday night after a visit to the driving range and were happy to find lots of TVs playing sports (football mostly) so I sat down with my husband for dinner. Our server was immediately at our table getting our drink order (Casey had a soda - $2.75) and she brought me a water with lemon. There are a lot of bar & grill style options on the menu at Legends (garlic fries, burgers, etc.) yet I found a healthy wedge salad ($7.95) that ended up being a lot more food than I expected. Casey ordered a 60/40 bacon burger and wonderful house-made chips ($10.50). As we waited for the food I noticed they sell $1 tacos until 7 and placed a last-minute order for two fish tacos. All of the food came our really quickly and our server (Debi) made sure we had enough napkins and full drinks. She even checked back up on us to make sure we liked everything. We were so happy with the place that we returned on Friday night also. They offer a complimentary happy hour of light appetizers which we were able to enjoy after more time on the driving range. We were especially happy to have Debi again as our server. The place was really busy on Friday and she was still very attentive to each table. I ordered the delicious fish tacos again, having fallen in love with the crunchy fish bites. Casey had chicken and beef tacos (he preferred the chicken). Midway into our food we decided to catch a movie but only had a few minutes to get to the theater; again Debi accommodated us by prioritizing our bill/change. The service really stands out over the food, but the food isn't bad - we'll definitely return. I'm learning how to hit a golf ball (I'm brand new at it) and this is the only place with a night driving range, so we'll be back for more tacos and practice! read more

What a great place to spend your afternoons after work or starting your weekend. Nice setup with benches, patio chairs, and music. But wait there more, it's right next to their driving range so you can view wannabe long drive champions. There ample parking and their restaurant has basic beers and fried foods to munch on. The reason for 2 stars is their protocol during COVID-19. Yes signs are posted but NO Employee enforces the public and at times wear one themselves. The public has no regard to safety. I almost forgot to review this place! So, dad wanted to come here because he loves the wings and they serve Angry Orchard. He took me here for happy hour and we ordered chicken wings, tacos, and a couple Angry Orchards Wings: They're fried wings tossed with sweet chili sauce, that sauce you dip your lumpia in. If you ask me it's a brilliant idea. They give you an entire plate. We ended up taking half the plate home because we had tacos to finish, and no one likes leftover tacos. Tacos: So tiny, so cute, so delicious! I haven't met a taco I didn't like. You could easily down four of these chased with beer. And of course the Angry Orchard was refreshing. read more

Great if you're a sports fan looking for a place to eat and drink with other sports fan. Bit crazy on certain Sunday depending who's playing but over all pretty good service. Free wifi so bring the kids and their ipad and you can watch the games for the whole 3hrs without having to leave cause your kid is bored. Worst BBQ chicken salad I ever had. My company did a group take out lunch for 10 people. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad. The chicken tasted like it had freezer burn. It was grainy and rubbery. The cucumber was cut in chunky clumsy cubes. The tomatoes were overripe and soggy. There was a smattering of corn over iceberg lettuce from a prepackaged bag. Thick tortilla strips. That's it. Oh and a stale bread stick. Boring, uninspired and overpriced. They should be ashamed of themselves. I'm definitely happy to be coming here more often. The drinks are cheap, which is a huge plus, and the TVs are huge and abundant so it's great for watching games. I like having a place to go when there's more than one game on that I want to watch at once, and this place is definitely better than Buffalo Wild Wings. The service is only okay, there's one server I like way more than the other (man, I forget her name already, but she is younger and has long brown hair). She is lovely and quick, and keeps a smile even when the Comcast guys are yelling drunken things at her. Live music in the warmer months is fun, but there's a big group of Comcast employees that hangs around after work and they all get WASTED and loud, and they start getting very profane and graphic toward the female employees. This is not based on a one-time experience, it's pretty regular. My family and I come here all the time during the week for dinner...but on Mother's Day I was denied by the blondie bartender at 1:00 pm to have a single one of the 9 tv's turned to the Giants game. I just wanted a bottomless mimosa on Mother's Day while I followed the game. Two had golf, one had an antique roadshow episode, one had women's soccer, one had the LA Angels game, and the rest were basketball. Legends is a great spot for food and drinks. Amy and I have been here a couple of times in the past few weeks and since someone (Amy) hurt her ankle we haven't been able to hit the ball around. Legends has some tasty food, excellent drinks, great service and a perfect atmosphere to watch your favorite sport, since they have TV's all around the joint and no matter what direction you are facing you are going to be able to find what you want to watch. When I first thought of the food at legends it was hard not to think of a hot dog that I would normally get when I took the turn after nine, but after going with amy to the driving range there is so much more then just hot dogs, and they have different specials every week night. Their taco's are probably my favorite but if I remember correctly I really enjoyed their club sandwich. Either way the place is a great way to spend an evening watching sports or participating in them with the lit up driving range. read more

They act like YOU should be the one serving THEM. The food is overpriced. The food is not very good. Ten freakin' dollars for a burger? The building has three separate wings, so you can have 49ers fans in one room, Raiders in a second, and something else in a third room. The food was decent, and yes, the last time I was there, I thought the prices were a tad high for the place. Large, classic black-and-white photos of Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, & some other hang high in the main room. It's probably the cleanest sports bar you'll ever visit, and one of the biggest. I helped put on a Giants Rally when the Giants were going to go to Tampa. Anyway, we planned a rally with the Contra Costa Chapter of Save Our Giants, and the management was very accomodating & hospitable with our group. Even though we played phone tag, when the day of the event came, they had free nibbles, orange & black all over the place, and we did our part... three TV stations showed up to cover our event! So if you have a big birthday party or event, and sports is your thing, you might consider them. read more

Just had the California Eggs Benedict and I almost never order it because it's almost always terrible, but I had a perfectly cooked French Dip here once and my mouth was too sore to chew much so I ordered the Benedict. That said, this was the best restaurant version I have had in decades. Hollandaise that tastes like lemon and butter, PERFECTLY poached eggs, fresh bacon, tomatoes, avocados and great hash browns. It look almost 10 minutes just to pick up an order I already placed over the phone. The food was OK, but the toast in my club sandwich was so hard (stale?) that it scratched my gums with each bite. Went there for lunch three days ago. The food came very fast and it was good except they forgot somebody's order completely and had to start making it when everyone got theirs. When everyone was done, like 15 people, the order came. One of us had to go get their order that was just sitting there too. Here's a tip, don't sit outside during lunch. At least three of us got pooped on and when we got up the birds literally took over the table. Gross! read more

Not a bad spot! Came here on a Sunday to watch my Bengals play the Steelers. Although, I will say there were a ton of Steeler fans galore I still had a lot of fun. They had every game on which was awesome and I even had a very delicious breakfast there which was the corn beef and hash with eggs over easy. I did have to wait quite a bit for the food to get to me, but it was understandable because the place was absolutely packed with fans of all different teams. I had lunch here recently, simply because we were in the vicinity and there doesn't seem to be any other food places along Port Chicago Highway. You order at the counter and they bring out the food to you when it is ready. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. I thought that their prices are reasonable, where you can get a sandwich and side for under $9 usually. I had the California Burger with fries.
