I understand that the store staff need to protect our healthy during COVID-19 . But the staff did not allow me to see things close to the window even though I was the only customer at the store.... I didn't get the point why I was not allowed to have a closer look .. I wasn't trying to touch anything since all LEGOs are protected by the window. I just wanted to see the details, but the line on the ground is too far from the display , so I wasn't able to see the details ..... it made me feel like the display worth million dollars and I can only see it in a long distance . Terrible experience today. 3 employees working and two of them are standing around BSing. The line to check out is getting longer by the minute. Dropped my purchases as the wait was taking far too long. You just lost a sale. So let's get down to brass tax here,I have to spend 250.00 on the UCS 1989 Batmobile then I get the smaller version of it for free which you won't release at regular retailers. There's no other way to get it as I have no need to buy UCS version as it won't fit in my collection. This is ridiculous why won't you offer the smaller set for sale, I don't want to spend 250 on something I don't need, want or have to resell just to get something I actually want that costs 39.99. Next let's talk about them poly bags that you release at mass retailers (my stores for some reason never gets them,like ever)but you won't sell them in your own store or park.This is a ridiculous thing here,they should be available at your stores regardless and not from some 3rd party seller at a higher price online. Dear fellow Lego fans, This is a MUST!!! We are forturnate enough to HAVE one of the few Lego stores in the whole nation. And there is one in downtown Disney too!! I must have spent close to a grand @ this particular Lego store. The staff are friendly and helpful! Ask them for a customer appreciation card when you shop there! One stamp for every $25 you spend. 9 stamps = $10 gift card, and 18 stamps = $20 gift card! So hey, why not?! They also have sales once in awhile. They put out damaged boxed for 30% off marked price. That's a pretty good deal I'd say. And they have bigger, better selections of Legos than your local retail store of course! So stop by, if you're in the area!! read more

I like to come to this store since it's close to my house, and it has pretty frequent 20% sale on busted-box products. The staff is friendly and greets you when you come in, offers assistance, combined with what basically a 5% off membership card, it's an all around good experience... UNLESS you come on Sunday afternoon. I've come a few times on Sundays and there are always these things that I noticed: They don't greet you, they look disinterested, and they tend to form a small group and talking among themselves. Maybe they're paid differently than the staff from other days, I don't know. The Lego company needs to take a look into this. And for the icing on the cake, I went there today to get me some of that Simpsons minifigures. They are blind bags and if you want to collect all 16 of them efficiently, you need to feel them in store. Yes it's awkward, but I've heard stories that some Lego stores actually have been accommodating to us bag feelers by helping us feel the bag, even pre- sorted them for us. I tried my best to shake off that awkward feeling and marched on. Anyway, I spent quite some time there because I was trying to get all 16 for myself and another set for my friend who's been asking me to get him a set whenever I go out to get some. Yes, I can be a good friend sometimes. All those time, not one staff member was asking me if I needed help with anything. But I didn't care, I'm quiet expert on this and I can handle this myself, as awkward as it may be. Then it was time for me to check out, handed over two almost-complete sets among some other stuff. The girl on the counter asked if those are more than 16, I answered yes, another is for my friend. She said, no you can only get 16 per customer. Well fuck me then why isn't there a sign telling me so!?!! I have just wasted my goddamn leisure time by being all goofy in the corner of a toy store, now that I think about it. At least give the courtesy to tell me in advance when I was busy doing a bag-a-feel!! There's another layer to the icing, but I think my story is long enough already. I mean I won't be as mad if they told me nicely. "I'm sorry but it's company policy that we only allow to sell 16 of these per customer." No no no, they treated me as if I am some ebayer that will resell these at double the price and as if it will undercut their sale somehow. And don't get me started on their prejudice resting faces. I came here this past Tuesday to buy the boy some things. The staff was totally helpful, store was not over/understocked, VERY clean etc. etc. I will def. co-sign with the others on the "damaged" boxes being marked 30% off for the smallest damages. I was helped by Consuelo and man she had me feeling like she was our own personal shopper. This is one of the best LEGO stores in southern California (much better than the Burbank, Glendale store). It's spacious, colorful, artfully arranged, *and* the employees are generally more than happy to help you with any questions or decision quandaries. This LEGO store seems to have a more consistent damaged box table throughout the year (30%-50% off). During Christmas, this store stocks heavily (both new *and* damaged boxes). The damaged boxes are often nothing more than a crease, chucked corner, or some bends in the box that would make it not mint. Once a month, this store holds a kids' day--build your own LEGO creation/take it home. read more

Amazing. Another store sold us an opened Death Star with open bags, and we didn't discover it until the morning of my son's birthday party. There were quite a few more major issues with the whole story, but its not important for this review. However, Hugo from Ontario Mills was notified and he graciously DROVE a replacement Death Star to our house just before the end of his birthday party. I LOVE this Lego store!!! Ontario Mills Lego store is awesome!! The assistant manager Garrett is amazing, all of the employees are amazing!!! Customer service is exceptional and their selection is superb!!! I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here, to be honest I am lost reading them, I have never experienced anything that is remotely bad at this store, every time I go there I have experienced nothing but fantastic service and 10000% total professionalism from all of the employees there. Among Lego stores, this one is average in terms of displayed models and a smaller number of Pick-A-Brick bins with only 60. Esthetically, the lighting is a bit dark and the shopping area is oddly split in two sections. The store is located near the south entrance of Ontario Mills near The Gap. Although Ontario Mills has outlet stores, this is not an outlet Lego store and everything is retail priced. read more

This is the only reason we were at Ontario Mills, the rest of the mall looks like the land that time forgot. Firstly my husband and I were surprised at how big this store was. The Valley Fair Santa Clara location seemed a bit cramped compared to this one. They also had a better selection of Lego sets. The Great Wall Of Legos is where my husband had the opportunity to fill up a small box that he'd received during the holidays for purchasing you guessed it more Legos! The sales associates were friendly and committed to providing excellent customer service. We really liked this store and will probably be back, soon. read more

My son loves coming to this store. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean, organized and stocked. The pick a brick wall is organized with plenty of different pieces. My only complaint is there should be a sitting area for parents like me that are waiting (seems like forever) for their kids to finish looking and/or choose something. read more

The worker Frank was the absolute nicest guy ever and helped us find what we were looking for. He remember which one of my kids picked which toy, bagged them in separate bags (which helps them not fight over the bag lol) and then gave them each their bag of Legos. This store has a better selection than most toy stores. There are tons of sets to chose from all the way from Duplo (for ages 1.5 - 5 yrs old) to the hundreds of tiny pieced Star Wars Death Star (at $400/each are they really geared towards kids?). I totally forgot this store exists until a friend of mine mentioned that Lego will be releasing LOTR sets this summer in conjunction with "The Hobbit" and now she is in a fervor to start collecting them all. I enjoyed meandering around the store and seeing that I was not the only adult in the store without a kid. The huge wall of mini Lego bits gave endless options of creating your own Lego world which you select and then pay for by the pound in plastic storage containers, like soft serve ice cream. I am tempted to started collecting the Harry Potter, Star Wars and maybe even the LOTR. I almost bought a key chain but since I have a bazillion already that seemed out of the question but I don't think I could pass up a Lego character zipper pull.* AHEM...... Not so good experience over the weekend. Sunday before Christmas. They finally got the Tumbler 76023. I grabbed two boxes. One staff quickly told me that it was limited to 1 per person. I said I'm ok and have enough people here. Waited in line to check out. The female cashier tells me that I can only get one. I told her yes, but my cousin here will get the other. She said no, one per family and refuse to sell one to my cousin. She changed from 1 per person to 1 per family and now she is policing and determining what is considered family. My cousin took the box and waited in line again and got another cashier. My cashier didn't give up and told the other cashier not to sell to my cousin. Of course my cousin wasn't stupid and got the sale to go through because I was long gone out of the store to provide any family proof. I just hate it when companies make stupid rules that is impossible to enforce. It just piss me off when not all employees are on the same page and they have to interpret and police the rule. My cousin was going to get the manager and just make a scene. Just bad for business! I'll go to the downtown Disney store next time. I just recently got into building legos, even though the sets are a little bit more pricey than they are at target or Amazon but you get 5% back if you have or apply for a VIP lego card. If the store had zero stars I would pick that. We visited the store on 12/27/17 around 2pm. I guess the gal who greeted us figured she can just say an unenthusiastic "hi" and figure she was doing her job. She spent about 20 minutes talking to some boy in a Lacoste sweatshirt. I know because I wanted to ask her a question but didn't want to interrupt her in depth conversation since she was so google eyed over him....so I sat outside Cinnabon, joined my mom and for kicks and giggles I timed how long she talked to her friend as people walked in and out of the store. I'm sure there were more people that needed help, I saw it,but she was so dang googly eyed over her man. I don't know if it's a millennial thing where they feel entitled to stand there and socialize while getting paid or if she's just a bad employee, but LEGO store,you lost my money. Since I was at the mills decided to check out the Lego store to see if my Simpsons house was in stock. Unfortunately it was not, but they did have the Kwik e mart, but wasn't interested. The place was clean and orderly and the staff seemed friendly enough. I'm just shocked on how the prices can easily go over $200. This Lego store is as good as it gets and here's why. I see many people on here talking about Lego product. Yes, the products are the best but let's talk about the store and the staffs. Without a clean store, friendly and helpful staff, I probably wouldn't buy it at all. This store, is by far the best Lego store I've ever step foot in. Their staffs are very, very friendly, knowledgeable and overall great to ALL of their guests. Let's just put it this way, I live near downtown L.A. and I have a Lego store in Glendale less than 10 miles away from me. I don't go there (because of their customer service) instead I drive well over 40 miles to go to this Lego store. Why? Because of their friendly environment, they treat me like family and never once showed displeasure in serving their customers. They've earned my business because of what they've done for me. Enough about the staffs as I've made solid points on why they are awesome. Now their products, they have a wide selection of sets that most of the other stores don't even have. They always get their products faster than any other stores which make my trip worth while. To sum it all up, the staffs at Lego Ontario Mills have shown they are the best at what they do. Who doesn't love Legos? So you would think this store would be completely awesome but it isn't. There are no prices marked on the shelves so you have to pick every item up and turn it all around looking for the price tag on the side. I wouldn't have heaved the giant Star Wars Lego box up if I had known it was almost $400. This store is also always so packed it is hard to walk around and inspect the items up for sale. Staff is ok, not overly friendly but not rude. My last visit there the clerk forgot to give me my gift with purchase and I had to ask for it. Did he forget or do they only give it to people who ask? Who knows? The great thing about this place though is that you have every Lego set currently on the market available to you. They also have a large selection of loose Legos that you can buy to make your very own creation. So the merchandise is great but the shopping experience there is only mediocre. read more

I have a toddler and he loves, loves, loves this store. Lots of eye candy. However, the toddler section is poorly stocked. You will really only find the very basic sets there for the little ones. i.e. BUPPLOS. The staff is some what knowledgable especially when it comes to telling you what they dont stock. Legos EVERYWHERE! Nice place to get gifts for kids of all ages; including those that are kids at heart still. Prices are generally cheaper than at other stores but there are other stores out there that on a good day will sell the same product for less. In a pinch this is the go to place though. Absolutely the most disorganized and frustrating night at the Lego Store, Ontario Mills monthly mini figure build. No more lines down the back hall due to security, so told to show up at 4 to get a ticket to return at a designated time. Watched people crash the line in the store that were behind me and slip past the line in the store to the front as Lego staff stood by watching. We were turned away at 4:10 pm and told to come back at 5 pm to get in line again to get a ticket for the mini figure. Are you kidding me! This is more disorganized than it has ever been. Sure, we could have crashed the line and snuck a ticket, but that's not what I want my son to learn from this experience. Hand out the tickets as people come to the store - don't make them wait until and have to stand in an line that is not blocked off from people cutting and taking my son's ticket. Staff - think it through - put the tickets at the front of the store and hand them out as fast as you can - give them to the kids and they'll be anxiously awaiting their time to build. We left and didn't come back to see if we would get a ticket for a time to then come back later and hope that there were still enough of the lego mini figures left. You used to run out of lego figures after giving out too many tickets. Now you don't know how to give out tickets to the people who have waited in line. Hmmm.
