Wow, this place is SLOW. I can't account for the sandwiches because my only interaction was with the counter staff - waited quite a while for coffee and saw two coffee orders get returned for being made incorrectly. The coffee was nothing special and the bakery items I purchased were just "okay"- part of me wishes I got a breakfast sandwich but I may have been there another half hour and it took me way too long to get my pre-made items. The counter staff was not rude but could have been friendlier- I'm sure they were frustrated at the returned coffee orders. Just prepare to wait a while! read more

Great space, super friendly staff and of course the food is fantastic. I was looking for some breakfast on an off Friday and this came up. I couldn't remember why I had bookmarked this place until i pulled up the menu and saw 'Hash Brown Waffle' on the menu. So Good (I had the roasted red pepper and garlic). It's a sliced and diced and riced potato cooked in the waffle iron with all sorts of goodness on the inside and an egg on top; just a fantastic breakfast dish. Also the coffee was hot, fresh, served in a huge mug, and the staff was conspiring in the kitchen to keep it topped off for me...did I mention they were super nice? The rest of the baked goods looked great and I brought home some chocolate chip cookies for later - the donuts looked fantastic too except the lady in front of me bought the place out - I'll have to come earlier next time. I'll be back here again, probably for lunch since all the lunch foods sounded great too. read more

This place is 100% delicious. So far I've had: the tuna melt, coleslaw with apple and blue cheese (YUM!), strawberry almond muffin, chocolate chip cookies (some of the best I've ever had), little bag of dried fruit, granola and white chocolate chips as a late afternoon snack, the shrimp tacos and probably a few other sweets. The sweets are out of this world. The shrimp tacos were awesome - although I think she said now that summer has ended, she plans to replace them with something more seasonal for fall. I'm sure that will be just as good. I've not been for breakfast, but she has all sorts of yummy sounding breakfast things, too. Leisha seems to have so many amazingly delicious and creative menu ideas...probably enough for 4 restaurants! This may be this place's only flaw. The menu is extensive, which is great. But between the build your own potato bar, and lots of options to personalize any order you get, and their offer to make any sandwich a hot one, it can take a little while for them to prepare your delicious lunch. They're so new -- I this may be the natural kinks in getting all the processes down when you're just starting out. But until those are worked out, I think if you're willing to wait 5 minutes longer than you'd expect, the food is worth it. Fresh, creative, delicious, healthy, and a good value. I've been to Leisha's a couple times now. The atmosphere is very nice, and while there may be a bit of a wait for your food, trust me it's worth it. Staff is very friendly. Had a work meeting here once and we got some tea+coffee and a variety biscuits+muffins- plus there were these little mini red velvet cupcakes and holy crap they were amazing. Fantastic bakery and lunch spot. I was in town just for the day and popped in based on some reviews and I was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the artisan turkey wrap and the salsa and tortilla battered chicken strips. Both were delicious. The staff were uber friendly and really eager to reach out to each customer in order to ensure they were having a great time. I took home a vanilla and a strawberry cheesecake cupcake for my wife and 3 year old daughter. They loved them. My daughter ran around in circles yelling "yay" because she was so happy to have a pink and purple decorated cupcake. Next time I am in the area, I will be back. read more

Like most hidden gems, I accidently stumbled upon this one. It's a beautiful and cozy place not far from I-95. It's in Stanford, which has a cool trendy vibe to it. Just a side note to any photographers, this area has an abundance of historical architecture and an unlimited amount of photo ops. Ok, back to my review. We tried a mocha with an extra shot of caffeine. It was delicious and very strong. The pumpkin, caramel, pecan cupcake was amazing and light. Last but not least was their famous chocolate chip cookie(which was on the house since this was our first visit to the bakery). Overall, this place makes the client feel like family. We went during lunch hour which is why the service may not have been great so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I didn't feel that welcomed when we walked in. No greeting and everyone was just jumbled in front of the register. The food was okay. The chicken sticks that are heated up in front of you we're not tasty at all. The chicken wrap was edible. The best compliment I can give this place is that the owner herself was very nice and welcoming. When we walked out, she gave us two free cookies. The peanut maple bacon cookie was the big hit with everyone. One co-worker called it the best cookie he ever had. I'll definitely be back in the future to sample other treats. I called Leisha's last minute Thursday Night in need of a cake and cupcakes for my 30th birthday party Saturday Night in the city. I called expecting to be told this order could not be done. I was greeted warmly by Maya who happily took my order and said "Of course we can do it! What would you like?" They listened to my ideas and gave me so many options for flavors saying "we can literally do anything you can think of." Even when I changed my mind on Friday to incorporate a mardi gras theme for the cakes they were happy to change it up for me! Saturday I got to see the inside of this quaint little cafe and I was impressed. Not only by the nice decor, but by the friendly staff and tasty treats! While they finished icing, I sat down and ordered the artisan turkey sandwich and while I waited, they brought a sample of the cake! It was strawberry and champagne and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!! They also let me have a chocolate chip cookie since it was my first time there! The cookies were amazing as well. Leisha herself helped me bring the cupcakes outside and she was so nice and accomodating! They even helped to make sure the cake and cupcakes would travel well to NY! My guests ate all the cupcakes and I absolutely love how they came out. My only regret is not calling them sooner!
