I came to try the December special, the Duck the Halls: duck confit, sweet potato hash, arugula, 2 eggs, and spicy aioli. Mine was not cut, not sure why but super tasty with tender duck meat! I also tried the pork belly bao buns: pork belly, picked onions and chimichurri and avocado. These were outstanding, with a nice crunch, a zippity do da from the picked onions and chimichurri, which was balanced by the smooth, silky avocado. Filling! The Very Good - 'tasty' is no lie. I got 'Pig' (Bacon, 2 over medium eggs, American, on a toasted parker house roll) 'Tasty' (Craft chorizo, 2 over medium eggs, cheddar, on a toasted parker house). - both breakfast sandwiches. Firstly, I have no idea who the Parkers are - let alone where they live, but whoever/wherever they are big fist bump on their rolls. What makes them so good? Butter. Just a little butter to crisp up the roll elevates these breakfast sandwiches. 5-start effort. The ok- service was friendly and helpful but took longer than I thought - especially based on the customer volume. Looked like a lot of hands in the kitchen but not super efficient back there. It wasn't a long wait- just a bit longer than I thought it should be for two breakfast sammies. It's a small spot. Clean, bright, some flavor. It was too nice out to eat inside. Stopped by Tasty Yolk for a quick bite and was seriously impressed! I ordered one of their What a Jerk burritos, and it did not disappoint. Good and fast service. You can text them to place an order which is very convenient. The wrap was perfectly grilled with that golden crisp on the outside, and the inside was packed with flavor. I never write reviews, so this says a lot. We used to love The Yolk -- the food is great -- but the service needs to be addressed. They must prioritize online orders over in-person and grossly underestimate how long things take. We placed an order and were told 10 minutes; after 30 minutes (and three check-ins later), it still wasn't ready. Each time we asked, we got the same "two more minutes" response. It's not that they forgot our order, but everything else kept getting bumped ahead. We finally canceled and left. Come on, Yolk -- get it together. I never have any complaints when I come here. My go to meal is the Futone Burrito. I tend to add pulled pork for the extra protein. They have an array of specialty sandwhichs which are always good. I've walked by this business for months and finally got a chance to try it this morning. My party tried the banker (brisket), the pig (bacon), and the tasty (chorizo). These were breakfast sandwiches on a roll with cheese and your choice of meat. All three sandwiches were tasty and had a good serving of meat. The establishment is small with indoor and outdoor tables. There is only street parking here. Its a cool place to pop in for lunch or breakfast in the Black Rock/Fairfield area. Also got the smashed potato on the side. The wrap was lovely, packed to the brim with spinach. It was light but very tasty and filled me up. The green hot sauce was a nice condiment for some spice. A few weeks ago, I visited the Tasty Yolk in Bridgeport as a part of my tour of the 2022 CT Yelp Top 25. Tasty Yolk is Number 2 on the List. They're open for B, L and D most days and serve creative breakfast and non-breakfast sandwiches, burritos, etc. But I was moved to drive an hour for a Breakfast Sandwich Special that had an All Star Team of fantastic ingredients. Two eggs. Heirloom Tomato. Arugula Pesto. Roasted Red Pepper Relish. A Terrific Fresh Bun. Sounds great? Now add Foodie Fav Burrata! They called it the Burrata Bing. It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in recent years. Oozy. Juicy. Acidic. Colorful. It was awesome. The iced coffee and potatoes with house hot sauces were good too. The shop had a nice modern aesthetic. There was some seating, but you wouldn't plan a big group meeting there. Most people got takeout when I was eating there. Service was friendly. I had such high hopes for a place with a 5 star rating. I'm not a fan of sandwiches with eggs on it so I chose the kids meal scrambled egg box with bacon and a side smashed potato. The potato was whatever. Literally nothing special in any way. The eggs though. Gross. These were not scrambled eggs. This was an egg laid flat and then folded. Nothing was scrambled. I could see the different parts of the egg which then makes them inedible to me. I understand others might not have food aversions like I do but don't call something "scrambled eggs" when that's not what you're serving. Wonderful breakfast spot! The shop itself had a tasteful design and cute indoor and outdoor seating. Even the logo for the restaurant is adorable. But the breakfast wrap I got... The Fatone... Though the name almost deterred me, the breakfast wrap was wonderful. By far one of the best breakfast wraps I've had in awhile. The bacon inside was crispy. Egg whites were cooked correctly. And the added mango aioli had a smooth taste. I ate the burrito even faster than the already fast service. I switch it up to a brioche roll....wow at least two servings of veg on this breakfast delight. It's super tasty and filling! I have been welcomed through the door every time! Today was that day, when a couple of us decided to get together for some breakfast. I ordered the Banker, and added the potato on the sandwich. The order was ready in not time, and I was pleasantly surprised, and amazed by the looks of it. The egg, the perfectly done steak, and the taste of potato by the first bite. Yummy! This is a gourmet breakfast sandwich that deserves my praise! Lovin' it! If you have the chance you should try TTY yourselves to experience what I did. The individual products are high quality so the final product was fantastic. I appreciate that it's wrapped in foil, so it stays warm longer. The lady who welcomed me and took my order was very nice and friendly. Cons: The breakfast sandwich which I ordered (the one with brisket, something resembling an egg, cheese, and spicy aïoli has to be one of the most memorably bad breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Served so piping hot that my scalded tongue is still in recovery, this greasy slop slid apart into the gooey mess that it was, with nothing redeeming about it. Topped off with a very mediocre stewed coffee (sitting for too long) and no decaf (which is what I'd prefer) on the menu. Two stars because the lady was very nice. That's really it. read more

Really great sandwich spot. I sometimes have some small adjustments and they're able to execute perfectly, every time. I like that they have brioche buns available, and the various sauces they have are (chef's kiss) mwah! Also, they always have some creative special that makes me want to try.
