Most succulent crepe I've ever eaten. Hole in the wall business, with a small amount of outside seating. It does get a little packed in there, but people are pretty fast about getting in/out so you won't be waiting too long; if not get it to go! Lemon Crepe and Coffee was the first meal we ate upon arriving in Dublin. It is conveniently located within a short walk of many tourist attractions. The restaurant isn't fancy. They have long tables with bench seating that reminded me of the tables we had in elementary school for lunch. Even during an off time (I think around 2 PM) they were pretty busy. We waited a few minutes in line to order and within 10 minutes we had our coffees and our crepes. I opted for the crisp complete breakfast crepe (bacon, cheese, and egg). It was pretty good and was filling without feeling heavy. I stole a couple bites of my husband's smoked caesar crepe and actually preferred that. Something about the different textures made it more appealing than my breakfast crepe. The coffee was not noteworthy but definitely much needed after nearly 24 hours of travel. Lemon Crepe and Coffee was a solid option for a late lunch and seemed to be very popular with locals and tourists alike. 4 stars. read more

Yep, I'm obsessed. No matter if you're looking for a sweet dessert or savoury lunch, there will be a crepe for you at Lemon Crepe & Coffee. Sure, there are other things on the menu, but crepe is in the name, I'm getting a crepe! I decided to be a bit healthy for my lunch crepe and went with the Veg Power. Spinach!! It went great with the cheese and garlic mayo. Even though we would have been satisfied on our savoury crepes alone, my friend and I decided, when in Dublin, you get a sweet crepe. Again, going off the whole "in the name of the restaurant" theme, we went with the Crepe Suzzette, which had lemon, sugar & butter inside. After one and a half crepes, I was stuffed to the brim and didn't even need to eat dinner that night. Talk about a filling meal... Overall, this place is reasonable in terms of Dublin pricing, in my opinion. The coffee drinks are good too. My only qualm is that there isn't a ton of seating so I guess depending on the time of day that could be a challenge. I'll be back for you, LC&C, next time I'm in Dublin. read more

Let me start this review by saying I was never a fan of crepes...... Until now. This place has completely turned me on to crepes and I have visited this central Dublin Dawson St location fairly often recently. They have crepes for every taste. My wife likes the sweet fruity crepes while I prefer the more meaty savory crepes. The last two times I visited I got the big breakfast crepe which contains bacon and sausage and other items and another time a smoked salmon crepe which was equally if not more incredible. My wife had a fruity crepe and another time the Strawberry Suzette crepe which was great. Their coffee selection. Is good too with much better cappuccinos and lattes than most places. Seating is limited outdoors, maybe 4-5 small tables but they do have heaters and it is not a bad street to watch the world go by. Indoor seating is setup bench style with maybe 4-5 rows and a couple two seater tables at the front. They do have a few high chairs which we have used and been happy with. The trick is that they fit right over the benches on the tables. Service has been incredibly friendly. Both those who take orders and those delivering food to the tables. They have even asked if they could bring us water or anything extra and I saw someone greet an older couple and take their order so they wouldn't have to wait in line. I thought that was incredibly nice and not something you see often. read more

Great choice of tasty crepes and galettes and good coffee. Lemon has been one of my favourites in Dublin since they first opened on South William Street. While pancakes are not usually very filling, in Lemon they are quite generous with the ingredients. If this Lemon is full, try the other one on Dawson St! read more

My landmark for a quick lunch in the city centre. The place (I talk about the one in Dawson Street, but I think the other one is similar) is always busy and there is a reason: the food is nice, at the right price and the service is quick. I tried different crêpes and toasts and they were all good: unfortunately the menu is huge and I forgot the names, but among the dishes that I well remember I recommend the sweet crêpe with fresh strawberries and wipped cream and the foamy and tasty cappuccino, both remarkable. The crepes in Lemon are fantastic. The inside is cramped and steamy and there are always people looking for a table. The crepes make it all worthwhile. Smoking outside underneath heating lamps and/or sun umbrellas for the nicotinally challenged, but that only ruins the good of the taste of the crepes. I've been to Dublin twice for work and Lemon was a great stop both times. The wait is never too long and while it's busy, we've always been able to steal away a place to sit. I've always been able to sit outside, which I definitely prefer. The inside is a little cramped with the huge picnic tables. Overall, they have a great assortment of crepes, although I could also think up more combinations and they are also celiac friendly, for those who need that. Other than the cramped tables inside, I wish the crepes came with a little more filling/toppings, but no major complaints. A solid four stars. read more

This place does exactly what it says on the tin. It serves nice crepes with various fillings. I usually have the banana supreme in here or some kind of chocolate crepe. Savoury crepes tend to leave me with nothing to write home about. Lemon is nice. You get your food fairly quickly and you can sit inside or outside. The staff are great and the crepes though they seem a bit highly priced are in fact filling and they use great ingredients. I visited Dublin for about 5 weeks in a two month period because A) I love Dublin and B) this place has the tastiest gluten free crepes on the planet! Okay, maybe B is a bit of a stretch but I had to force myself not to go there every day. As other GF travelers or people living in Dublin may know, it's difficult to find so when you do and it's good as well, it's hard not to get attached. My favorite was simply there ham, egg, and cheese with Ballymaloe relish. I could bathe in this relish-- it's divine. The coffee is also excellent. The staff have always been kind at this spot as well. It's one of my favorite places to go in Dublin and (if you're lucky) catch a seat outside and watch Dublin go by.
