The salon is beautiful and seems very clean. Unfortunately, the manicurists were unfriendly and spent the whole time whispering to each other. Although it's called Lemon Nails, my manicurist forgot to put the lemon in the water. She didn't even walk me over to the drying station which unfortunately was not a fan but lights. I don't like the lights. They don't dry the nails and expose me to unnecessary UVA light. When we were done, the manicurists, who had disappeared into the back to have their lunch break, didn't even bother coming out when we left. I live in the city, but had some errands to do up north. I went to Lemon nails and was so impressed with the design! I love the crystals hanging from the ceiling. It was clean and bright and comfortable. My manicure and pedicure were perfect. Toma is an artist. The location is good too. You can pick up some groceries, grab some coffee, and park! This place is always busy, so I assumed it was good. I've gone twice now and both times my pedicure chipped the next day. I returned to ask them to touch up the polish. Both times they touched up the polish, but did not use another layer of top coat, so the color chipped again a few days later. Normally, a good pedicure will last me two weeks. I will not be returning. So my search for a good nail salon continues! read more

My favorite place for a no chip manicure. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra $5 cause they do a best job in town!! Nice facilities too, very clean. Nice place to get the full works ( mani/pedi) - even more fun to come with a friend. read more

I called to make an appointment and they told me they had an opening and that I could come in. When I arrived, there were 4 other clients and only 3 technicians. I had a gel nail polish that I tried to soak off prior to coming in to speed up my appointment. She sat me down next to another client and was still wrapping her manicure, then moved to me to scrape the remainder of mine off. She was going back and fourth between the two of us. After another technician finished a manicure, she sat that client in the seat for a pedicure, than ran over to me to quickly and poorly polish my nails. Tuya, I believe. I had a white polish and she only painted 2 coats and there were lines showing. There were several bubbles that I pointed out, that she just continued to paint over. After the top coat, I said there is nail polish on my fingers, and she said, "well you didn't get a manicure, so I can't fix that", and took my card and refused to look up at me. When I got home, I noticed the side was peeling off, and went back to speak with the manager. She offered me to wait and fix it, or come back the following morning. I said I would come back, but really just didn't want to deal with them anymore. I will not be going to a salon that does not dedicate their full attention to their paying clients. I don't recommend that anyone pay for a service that they are not being properly accommodated for. read more

Speaking in a foreign language clearly about clients as they all look at the client who just exited while they are chattering away in whatever language they were speaking. They were all watching Ellen as they half heartedly paid attention to what they were doing. Not a good experience... With a nail salon on nearly every corner these days...I won't go back. I came here twice so far, one for no chip and the second for no chip mani and pedicure. The place is very clean and I appreciate it looking very professional. I will keep coming back because I do feel that they do a very good job on their clients. They definitely take their time. They lose one star however do to customer service. They have a giant sign that says walk in welcome, but twice before I walked in with no appointment and they look so mad about it. Like ugh why don't you have an appt. I mean I'm sorry, but if you prefer appointments only, don't have a sign that says walk in welcomes. Also, I feel that they aren't very nice, just overall look constantly annoyed and don't really take care of their customers. This is a customer service business and I really feel they need to step up their game and make their clients feel more welcome. However, that being said I do still hold true to my review at the beginning that they do a great job on service. I just feel with a little extra customer service effort, they would absolutely be 5 stars. read more

I was excited to find a new nail salon near us, so we tried this place. The first few times they were pleasant and took us as walk-ins, graciously. However, the last 2 times I showed up as a walk-in (note: they have a large neon sign on their door that says "Walk ins Welcome!) they were very bitchy about it. They obviously are not happy with people who walk-ins. I can understand that, when there are appointments, but don't be unprofessional about it. Don't know their names, but they made a face and made it look like I was asking them to climb Mt. Everest in my request. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Congratulations to Amy, Ellen and their partners! SO excited for them and their new business venture! I have followed Amy to several locations as she is the absolute best! I've had manicures all over the country while traveling on business and there is NO ONE better than Amy! I now travel almost 40 miles for mani/pedis with Amy. We went there 4 people. They were not busy so you think they would take there time. No. We had an appointment but they were rushing us. We came 15 min early so we have time to pick the colors ext. Very rude. My 8 years old started saying please don't pull it hurts. She's still pulling. Instead of cutting cuticles she was pulling them out. We end it up standing up and my daughter finished after one toe. Poor costumer service!!!! Never again. And they argue after. Terrible terrible. Why did I wait so long to try Lemon Nails?!? Not only is it charming & beautifully decorated, but the gals there (particularly Lucy!) do a phenomenal job. It is clean, relaxing & a pleasure to visit. Prices are fair...not the cheapest in the area, but you get what you pay for (mani/pedi was $45). I've never felt rushed and always left very happy. read more

Went there for a no chip manicure. It was at the end of the day on a Saturday. I did call in to make an appointment. The manicurist rushed me to choose the color, then proceeded to scrape my nails and cuticles so hard, I was in pain. I have never experienced anything like that before. The entire time the techs were speaking loudly to each other in their language. I found it very offensive. read more
