Good- food Bad- service. My friend and I went there for lunch . When we walked in , there were only 2 people at the bar area and 2 servers who did not even bother to greet us even though they both look when we walked in. We waited for a while to be seated. It took forever to serve our food. I understand if it was a busy day but it was not. Again, It was just us and the 2 other at the bar. I was satisfied with my order but, based on their slow and unwelcoming environment I don't think I will be coming back. Tasteful food and warm service goes hand and hand.

So worth and so delicious! At first, the price seems a little high for just two skewers but holy! The beef lule plate was huge! It came with a big plate of rice with fresh greens on the side and two foot long beef lules. I fully enjoyed my time here.

Yesterday was a complete blast! The amount of people that showed up was better than I expected, most of the samples were good! Also I'm familiar with after anyway but it was good to see them too! People were laughing enjoying the game and the ambiance . Thank you Yelp elite for making this Opportunity possible.

We were looking for Mediterranean food in Azusa and found this restaurant in downtown. The menu has a good variety. We got chicken and beef lule. The plate was big enough for us to share. It comes with rice or salad or a mix of both. We added on a lentil soup too. So yummy! What makes this restaurant so FUN is the commitment to the Dodgers. At the front door are cardboard cutouts of some of the players advertising beer. AND, every TV was set to the game when the game was on. People at the bar, the booths, and the tables were cheering... on a weeknight for a regular season game. We loved it! Parking on the street but more hopeful in the back.

Friend & I went after shopping, as I raved about their vegan beef Lule. It was about 1:30pm after lunch rush. Our server, we found out was the manager, she apologized for being out of the vegan Lule. She did suggest the falafel instead. My friend loves babaganoush, which we found out, the chef just made. She got a Greek salad- no cheese, added falafel. The manager was making sure everyone was helped - as she was waiting tables, server, and drinks. Luckily we were in no hurry. Food: the roasted eggplant is incredible and star of our lunch. Smoky, spicy, delicious. Falafel was light, crispy outside, tender inside. My grilled squash, zucchini, & onions were perfect cooked al dente. I took home over half of my plate, having filled up on pita & eggplant Definitely will come back again. Venue is cute, lemon decor, but not over the top.

Yum! First time trying Lemon Zest on a Sunday evening after church and boy did it hit! The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, and our server, Jerica was so nice. We ordered the chicken combo and beef combo, along with a trio of starters: baba ganoush, yogurt, and hummus, and we can't forget the amazing garlic sauce! Both the chicken and beef lule kabobs were perfectly seasoned. The beef kabob was juicy and cooked just right. The rice didn't seem the freshest, but it was still tasty. The two combos plus the starters were perfect for our party of 3. We're definitely adding Lemon Zest to our Sunday dinner rotation.

This is the absolute worst mediterranean experience I have ever had! It was flavorless, the rice was terrible the meat was overcooked. They forgot half my order. The fries are terrible. Theres no hummus!!! The bread was flat and tasted old. I cant believe anyone would go here again. This is why I stick to mom and pop shops when it's mediterranean, they know how to cook!! Not to mention the female workers were being disrespectful and causing drama in the workplace. Just rotten folk.

I've been on a Mediterranean kick lately and I finally decided to dine at this restaurant. The restaurant is located in downtown Azusa and the ambiance is super cute. It's clean, the bar is beautiful and they also have 2 tvs for game nights. We were seated and given menus right away. Our waitress was the only server and she handled everything pretty well once service started to pick up. To start, I ordered the hummus with pita bread for the table. Their hummus is the best I've ever had! It's fresh, flavorful and the pita bread was warm and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend the hummus! I ordered the Chipotle Chicken wrap which was delicious. It's served with fries or salad and I chose the fries. The fries were fresh and hit with the perfect amount of salt. My son ordered the Chipotle loaded fries and added chicken for protein. He loved his entree! My mother ordered the Kabob plate with beef and chicken which is paired with salad and rice. She said the chicken was very tender and delicious. I wasn't expecting me to love this place but, I do and it's my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. If you're in the mood for an amazing meal, definitely come here.

Ambiance This Lemon Zest location is so clean, nicely decorated, spacious, has tvs to watch sports and a movie, and has a full bar. Vegan food I just love getting the vegan beef lule kabob plate (protein made of plant based beyond meat), which I always pickup to go. Maybe next time will stay to enjoy the atmosphere.

Charming and cozy, a very nice feeling as you walk in. Good Feng Shui. Welcoming feel and decorated just perfectly with small touches to make you feel comfortable with a relaxed familiar feel, just like when you've visiting family. What can I say they're Dodgers fans and we love that! Three monitors to watch the game while you enjoy a delicious dinner. The lamb T-bone steak absolutely delicious and it's complemented with basmati rice, and either a Greek salad or Caesar with shaved Parmesan both excellent! Friendly service even though we walked in 20 minutes to closing! Location on Azusa down the block from Max's, if you like lamb this is the place!

I have been to this establishment several times just for drinks. This time I had the opportunity to try there food. I had their gyro with lamb. It was tasty, seasoned to perfection and the tzaziki sauce was fire. The service is always impeccable and Rai is always a joy. The live band was the topping on the sundae.

I am honestly very disappointed in the quality of food cooked at Lemon Zest. I have visited this restaurant several times and never had an issue with my food . This is very disappointing, unfortunately I will no longer visit this restaurant again it has definitely changed.

Came here for a quick after-work bite, but unfortunately it wasn't very quick. It took a while for the waitress to come and take our order, and took foreverrr for the food to come out even though there was only one other table being served. So maybe don't come here if you're in a rush. I appreciate the freshly made food, it was delicious nevertheless. I'm in LOVE with the Greek salad. Just thinking about it makes me salivate. And not to mention the cute vibe inside.

We both got the chicken shawarma with rice and pita and a side order of falafel and it all tasted excellent and fresh. The owner Kal was generous to throw in some extra sauces even though we didn't add them originally which was very kind. The amount of food was plentiful, I came in hungry and we still had leftovers to take home. But the best part of eating here was the hospitality that Kal showed us. He let us try the beef empanadas and the salsa which was his own recipe and it was absolutely delicious. This will forever be our spot to visit when we come to the movies. We ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes while they prepared it. The employee helping us was very kind, apologetic, and explained they've been having issues with the Covina location's online ordering system. We ordered the Duet Kabob entrée. Overall, the food was good. The beef was especially tender and flavorful, I actually enjoyed it more than the chicken. The hummus was a little bland for my taste. I also paid extra for a side of garlic paste, but it wasn't included with the order. I didn't realize it until I got home, so I should have checked the bag before leaving. The prices also seemed a bit high compared to other Mediterranean restaurants we've visited, where similar meals are more reasonably priced. The restaurant itself looked a little dated and could use some attention. It didn't feel very clean, and the entrance seemed cluttered with gates and signs, which didn't make for the most inviting first impression. Overall, the food was enjoyable, especially the beef, but between the online ordering issue, the missing item, the atmosphere, and the higher prices, I felt the experience could have been better.

I placed an order online for pickup and was given a pickup time. The place is very open, spacious and just has a neat vibe to it. I walked right up to the counter to give them my name for pick up and they said they were finishing it up. There were other people waiting for their orders as well. A couple minutes later, the gentleman behind the counter called out "Daniel" and the guy waiting next to me jumped right in and grabbed the bag and took off. I had wondered "I hope they didn't pronounce my name wrong and that was MY order." But didn't think much of it. Then the gentleman behind the counter asked me the name for my order. When I said "Danielle" he said "oh that was yours, the guy just left." He kind of looked at me like it was my problem to fix, so I took off after the guy and the employee followed me. Thankfully, the guy didn't get very far because he was verifying the order, so we made the exchange. Whew! I ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob with extra grilled veggies and a side Mediterranean salad as well as the hummus trio with sliced cucumbers instead of pita bread. The chicken kabob meal was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the option to add on more veggies was much appreciated! I was really excited about the hummus trio, but sadly I found it to be lacking flavor. With the 3 options of regular hummus, spicy red bell pepper and edamame, I was definitely expecting a flavor explosion, but it fell flat for me. I'd definitely come back to try more of their main dishes. Seems like a great little spot to dine in.

I still decided to order hummus (because last week when I ordered it, I wasn't satisfied) and me trying to be healthy, I ordered it with cucumber. And I ordered a small Caesar salad. It seems the quality of their food has changed. The hummus wasn't as crave worthy as it used to be to be. And they gave a little bit of cucumber. Last week when I ordered from PKG (different location) they gave a ton of pita bread (which wasn't soft, but crunchy due to warming it up too much on the fire) with no hummus! I had to get my husband's hummus and it was a small container. Not enough for the amount of pita bread they provided. The Caesar salad wasn't good, but the dressing seemed watered down and not creamy enough, imo. Not sure what it is but the quality of the food isn't like it was before. Service was kind of slow for just ordering hummus and salad.

My friend and I had lunch on the patio and waited a solid 30 minutes just to get water. The service was painfully slow and careless; tables around us were left uncleaned, and when our food arrived, we had no utensils. After asking the food runner and waiting around while our meals got cold, my friend finally had to get up and track down silverware herself. When the waiter finally acknowledged us, he literally threw the utensils onto the table. Then, when we asked for extra napkins, he actually put his hand up to block us and just walked away. I was so shocked by the blatant rudeness that I called for the manager. While the manager apologized and gave us a free dessert, a sweet treat doesn't fix a total lack of professionalism. If employees hate being there that much, they shouldn't be working in hospitality! Management is also to blame by keeping them employed. When reading some of the other reviews, seems like service is really lacking here and the waiters have major attitude problems. The food is always great, but this type of behavior and level of disrespect makes me never want to come back. I will take my money elsewhere.
