Used to be my go to for healthy quick and creative salads. However recently I feel the PORTIONS have gotten smaller and there options are hit or miss. For example one classic salad is the CHICKEN WITH GREEN BEANS which is delicious and spicy. But unfortunately they have changed the truffle mac and cheese which used to be more cheesy and thick with smaller noodles. The CUCUMBER LEMONADE is still my favorite but the food seems to be far too over priced for the portions and during my last experience the service seemed slow and confused and there wasn't any new salads that seemed too appealing. Hope this place picks up again and begins to capitalize on its CREATIVE style while maintaining its quality and value like it did during my first experience 15 years ago. I don't mind paying $25 for good quality food, but I do mind paying $25:for lazy, thoughtless food. I got the combo and since the seared chicken wasn't available I opted for the steak, which is NOT steak at all....it's pot roast. And for my 3 sides I got the corn mixture and the tomato and Avocado salad. Two different sides that pretty much tasted the exact same because they are just full of tomatoe. Covid: Very busy here y'all so if you're impatient and you're prone to giving employees a hard time, then DO NOT COME HERE. The employees here work very hard and are super polite. I waited until I got to the register to get helped. (Yes THEYRE PACKED!!) The only reason why I am giving this place 3 stars is because I wish their menu was more thorough with the description / ingredients in their food. I ordered a mango chicken bowl & do no recall reading "SPICY" on the menu. This bowl was WAY too spicy for me! (Sad face). Furthermore, the lemonade I ordered was watered down. I came in the evening so I don't think my ice melted THAT fast to give it the watered down effect. I wish my first experience here was better. The best thing about this place is it's eco friendly packaging, bright yellow straws, and great customer service. I got the poke bowl tonight around 8pm First, the employees were SO RUDE, they didn't want to help and were super quick and rushed me. As you may know from reading my other reviews, I always enjoy when parking is easy. You are able to park at the shopping plaza and get 2 hours validated when you make a purchase. I ordered the frozen lemonade along with the poke bowl. It was a bit more expensive than other food locations but it was very fresh and healthy. The flavors of the poke bowl combined together well and the lemonade provided a refreshing complement. There were good safety precautions at this location. The pay counter had a plastic wall to reduce covid risks and there were signs to stand at safe physical distance. Definitely a good place to stop by for something quick if you are looking for something fresh and healthy. read more

Overall: Lemonade has decent food, but the prices become exorbitant when you make a meal. Service is great and the location is nice! Food: 3 Traditional Mac N Cheese ($4.50): The cheese flavor is perfect for your comforting traditional version, but there was a slight grainy texture to the cheese sauce. The pasta was overcooked and too soft. In fact, I've found better al dente pasta at Souplantation. Tuscan Kale & Tangerines Salad ($3) comes with button mushrooms and a tangerine vinaigrette. The dressing was tangy with just a little heat. Spice wimps like me will be ok! It can taste very mushroom-y, so I wouldn't recommend this unless you love mushrooms. Seared Ahi Tuna ($7): The portion is decent, and the quality of fish is good. It's coated in black pepper on the outside so it can have a little kick to it. Lemonade is one of those places where everything seems so cheap on its own, but it becomes shockingly expensive when you try to make a meal. I'd suggest dropping by for a snack because $3 or $5 for a salad or hot side isn't a bad price. But my meal was $16, and it wouldn't leave anyone feeling completely satisfied. Service: 5 Lemonade is a casual eatery set up like a fancy cafeteria. You can see all of the foods that they're offering, and you tell them what you want. They give you a number, and you go to the cashier to pay. The staff is super friendly, and they're happy to give out samples before you make your order. We got the avo toast and turkey sandwich. The worker told us upfront that their ovens were broken and so they would not be able to toast any of the bread. I think that would have made the experience that much better, especially for the avo toast, but I liked their honesty. Both food items were excellent and tasted very fresh. I checked in after I started eating to discover the free lemonade offer which they were happy for me to use after I was done eating. The lemonade has to be great as it is the store's namesake. After that there's an area for hot foods such as mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, truffle mac and cheese, meat balls, chicken, ect. Each item has its own price tag that gets tallied up at the end, where you then have an option to add one of their lemonades- there's flavors such as cucumber mint, lavender, blood orange. These change from time to time! I would highly recommend the truffle mac and cheese, the chicken curry meatballs, and the chicken curry salad. Also, any of their kale salads are amazing. Ahi Tuna Avocado bowl was okay, you can definitely get way fresher, authentic, and fuller portions nearby and the Pineapple Mango Lemonade really just tasted like normal lemonade with a hint of pineapple. However, it was absolute chaos in Lemonade. The "line" was non-existent, with people all over the place picking out entrees and sides. I couldn't figure out exactly where I was supposed to place myself to order and could barely hear what the person helping me was saying because everyone seemed to be yelling. I had questions about a few of the items, but felt really rushed to just get in and out as quickly as possible. I understand that it was a busy afternoon and that the employees need to make sure the line moves along, but sheesh. It was not a pleasant ordering experience at all. After I paid $34 for two meals and a Perrier, I sat outside to recover from the ordering experience. My plate included a spicy poke salad, a broccoli salad, an endive (I think?) salad and mixed greens. It was good, but in my opinion, not $16 good.
