    Dining area, lovely ocean/beach views
    Linda F.

Love this location, sprawling ocean/beach view. They offer a prime rib beef dip with fries, one of my favorite meals. My friends both had delicious looking salads. Our server was attentive and allowed us three long time friends to enjoy our time catching up. (Did not take a photo of our meals- oops, you have to take my word for it :))

As a pastry chef, I have high standards and this place held its own. From the moment we sat down overlooking the beach, watching the bonfires flicker along the shore and taking in that smell of firewood in the air, I knew it was going to be a good night. Mules are my drink of choice and the Strawberry Basil Mule here is always my first order and never disappoints. The Pineapple Guava Margarita is equally solid and worth every sip. The food was quality all around. The Crispy Broccolini was done right, crispy but not overdone, which I appreciate. The Prime Rib Dip had a jus that was rich and full of flavor, and the Chopped Caesar with pancetta was the perfect complement to the meal. Only gripe is the portions are small for what you're paying, but that comes with the Huntington Beach territory. Now as a pastry chef, I have to talk dessert. The Brookie Cookie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce was the perfect way to end the night. Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this spot, especially for brunch and mimosas. The atmosphere, the cocktails, and the food make it a place worth coming back to.

The Brant is a great place for lunch. Huntington Beach views from inside or outside are available. We ordered the prime rib sandwich with fries.

The food is good. I appreciate how their food is presented. They provided wonderful customer service.

Some friends and I stopped in after running the Surf City Half and 5K, and the California Benedict I ordered hit the spot! Poached egg, bacon, avocado, tomato, hollandaise and basil pesto atop an English muffin, served with hash browns satisfied all of my cravings! Service was friendly, and they were able to seat us immediately!

The Brandt was such a great experience. The inside has an upscale beachy vibe with a beautiful view if you are near the window seating although much of the dining room has that view since they are second story. The cocktails were fabulous and had some unique twists that I really enjoyed. The lychee martini was amazing and i'm bummed it's only a drink of the month for them. The short ribs were super flavorful and served on a pineapple risotto that so unique and tasty. The french dip was also very good, always a nice classic and the halibut was a good dish but a little small on the fish serving. Our service was great and fairly quick. Would definitely come back for a date night, dinner with friends or celebration.

i made rez via opentable for the wknd. super easy. one of my girlfriends and i were overdue for a brunch date..like wayyy over due. we agreed on the brant, so glad we met here! the restaurant is so pretty and spacious! everyone was so friendly and welcoming. they are dog friendly as well! beautiful beech views as we sat next to the glass wall. we ordered to share: Crispy Brussels Stuffed French Toast The Brant Breakfast Sandwich everything was so good. def will be back as there were a few other menu items i want to try! we stayed for about 1.5hrs chatting and eating. until out of nowhere our waitress came to ask if she can clear our table and pack our leftovers before we were ready, def felt rushed, even tho the restaurant was kinda empty .. that part was off-putting . maybe she was due for a break or lunch. idk. we both felt like we were getting kicked out lol.. but ill be back to try their fried chicken and waffles! parking: located on the upper level of pacific city. parking garage / surface lot / valet

Beautiful spot with ocean (SUNSET!) views. Asparagus fries are probably not healthy, but they ARE GOOD. Chopped salad (LARGE) with filet (excellent). Finished with Smog City IPA and you have an excellent evening. Fantastic service; HIGHLY recommended!

Came here based on a Yelper who said this is one of her fav restaurants and made reservations on New Years because I was jonesing for a good burger. Forgot I had been here before a year ago but never yelped them because I only stopped in for a drink. I didn't know this place has a view along PCH. You don't see it until you walk in further to the dining area. There are 3 tables that are against the windows where you can get a nice view of the sunset, and PCH. We ordered burger with shoestring fries, and he ordered the salmon that comes with garlic mash and Brussel sprouts but subbed it out for broccolini. Our server didn't tell us about the specials or anything really, but the next table that came in got a gentleman who was talky and we heard about the chef, the cuisine and specials, which might have swayed my man's order if he had known, to the pork chop. Oh well. Food came out good and we enjoyed our evening. We had to ask our server about validated parking. She was nice but not very helpful as far as servers go. I like me a good clam chowder but they serve it Manhattan style here, which I am not a fan of. The peachy drink we had was really good though. Aside from the burger I ordered I don't know how I'd feel about coming back. This place is really close to Watertable inside the Sheraton and in my estimation, that was a better experience with better menu selection than what I saw here.

    BEST Broccolini in town
    Christine V.

The Brant is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is consistently great, the views are spectacular, and when you order right, the food is delicious. Out of all my visits, there have only been a couple of items I wouldn't recommend otherwise, it's a solid spot for both lunch and dinner. My go-to favorites are the pretzel board, the half chicken with mashed potatoes (sub broccolini), the burgers, and the Spicy Tuna Tartare Tacos. All are reliable and well executed. That said, the prime rib dip was mid, the salmon was overly fishy, and the Manhattan-style clam chowder was downright awful easily the most foul-smelling and worst-tasting soup I've ever had. Overall, if you order correctly, this place is amazing. They also offer vegetarian options, which makes it an easy choice for family dinners, especially since my dad is a vegetarian.

First time and will definitely come back to try other things in their menu. Don't have a reservation and I was seated right away. Does have a cute view of PCH and the ambiance is a mix of American and Spanish. Meaning then have some cute tulip latent hanging in the dining room. The bacon wrapped dates is a must as well as the chicken.

Yummy artichoke and fries, but sad overpriced burger
    Mariah C.

The views from are unbeatable, but the food is a hit-or-miss experience. On the positive side, the artichoke appetizer was good, and the french fries that came with my meal were perfectly crispy. However, the actual burger was a big disappointment, it arrived completely cold and very dry. Combined with mediocre service, I won't be returning here for a full dinner. I might consider stopping by strictly to grab a drink on the patio and take in the Huntington Beach pier scenery, but skip the main food menu.

So glad I stumbled upon this place! I asked ChatGPT for a nice sit down brunch place with an ocean view. Thank you ChatGPT! It delivered exactly what I was wanting The view here on the patio is just perfect. .. sometimes with such a great view .. the food is lackluster (I'm looking at you rooftop Laguna) Luckily this most the case here. The food was all good! Service is a bit sluggish, but honestly..enjoying the ocean breeze makes waiting for your food.. a breeze We had the breakfast sandwich. The burger.. and tuna tacos. No flaws . Nothing amazing , but I'll take solid good food over a hit and miss menu anytime Brunch doesn't have a lot of lighter fare options. So looking forward to. Dinner service ! We will definitely be back!

Busy hustle type vibe with the diners, cars on PCH and beachgoers. Park in the underground structure, get validated. Food we ordered: - Calamari: Standard quality with light batter and soft pieces. The pesto sauce was very good. - Ribeye House Butchered Cut: I ordered mine Black & Blue (aka Pittsburg Style) which can be difficult. They did a very good job with it. Outside had good crunchy sear in most areas and soft tender rare inside. It was generously seasoned topped with compound butter. I subbed the garlic fries for mash potatoes which was just okay. Overall, very impressed. Steak is my favorite. - Picanha: Flat Iron Steak topped with chimichuri. Ordered medium rare and it came out cooked perfect. Very soft and tender pieces. The garlic fries were very good and the arugula salad had a nice blend of citrusy and savory flavor. Overall, the food was great. Lots of seasoning and flavors. We were celebrating a birthday so they brought out a complimentary chocolate cake and ice cream. Very nice gesture. Another note; Service was great and the manager also walked the floor the entire time to check in on guests, run food, clear tables when needed and helped his staff. As someone who's worked in restaurants, that's always nice to see.

Back to the food - I had the prime rib dip, and it looked really good, but the meat was extremely salty!!! The bottom buns were mushy from condensation too. And the au jus was not good. The horseradish was really good though. My friend said the steak on her salad was good, but the salad was awful because of how drenched it was in dressing. My other friend said his fish tacos were average at best. I felt embarrassed because I was the one who picked this place. On a positive note, the NA Aperol NOOH was really good! Such a shame because the view is so beautiful and the restaurant aesthetic is really nice, but the food is just that bad. Parking - they do validate parking for the first two hours free in their building garage.

From the French Onion soup with bone marrow, the Mac and cheese shareable, to the garlic bread with pesto.. But the entrees and desserts SHINED! My father had a medical emergency that morning and went to the ER with my mother. We could not keep the full reservation. I immediately called the restaurant to cancel 2 spots since it was a legitimate last minute emergency. 4 of us did come to the dinner since we prepaid and I was getting very sketchy vibes about refunds. Clearly my spidey senses were accurate since I never heard back from anyone about a refund for the 2 meals and I'm out $230. Over the phone the manager told me it was fine. I showed up and asked the Host about it and she deferred to the manager. The manager came to our table and said he'd figure it out & work on refunding the 2 reservations. After dinner, I followed up & he said he has to talk to 'higher ups'. I called the manager a couple of times to follow up in the week following the dinner. He said he's trying to figure it out with the hotel. I also emailed the hotel who did not respond to my email at all. I called the hotel number on the reservation and left a message, who did not return my call. It's been 1.5 months and I haven't heard back from anyone. When we got there the restaurant was largely empty. We didn't even need reservations for the Father's Day special dinner. The Father's Day special dinner was offered to everyone who came to the restaurant, with or without pre-paid reservations. I made the reservation because the Mother's Day brunch is usually full so I thought it would be the same for Father's Day and my husband really wanted to go. As far as the food goes, it was OK. Maybe I don't know what a ribeye is supposed to taste like, maybe it was a bad ribeye, maybe it's because I always get a filet, but I was underwhelmed, 3-stars at best. They had this mushroom ravioli type course that was good. Dessert, as I recall was good. None of it was worth $115 per person. To be fair our server was very pleasant. The manager was pleasant as well, however, I still haven't heard back from the manager or the hotel about a refund for 2 of the meals. It has been over a month and neither the manager nor the hotel have returned my calls or emails to resolve this issue. Three-stars for our meal. For $115 per person, I expect much better. One-star for customer service.
