Lenny's makes a good sub, not a super huge or unique selection, but overall we have a good experience at this location. Just make sure to allow some time, it does take a while to get your food. The employees are polite but no real sense of urgency even if there are multiple people waiting. We have been to other sub shops (not Lenny's) and there seems to be a goal of getting the food out quick and accurate. I do recommend this location if you are in the area, HOWEVER there is a lot of competition in this part of town now. Oh, I forgot to mention, the boy had an app on his phone for BOGO, so he got an Italian cold and I got a cheesesteak. Check out the photo, size DOES matter. Super fresh bread! Bread was nice an warm when they brought my cheese steak and the Sammy was hot. The sub came loaded with beef, cheese and onions. GrubHub, but I think if all the ingredients used to make the sandwich are fresh, Lenny's could be an excellent dining option. I didn't report it to GrubHub, but I should have; overall, if all the ingredients used to make the sandwich are fresh, I believe Lenny's would be a wonderful place to eat. Perhaps next time, I will specify my preferences more clearly to ensure a better experience. Someone recommended Lenny's to us. So for a lunch date, he had the Cubano and I had the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado. The sandwiches were fresh and good to taste, but they didn't standout anymore then what we make at home. They have Lenny's lemonade that was said to be really good and the chips were good, too. I usually love Lenny's. Today, I ordered delivery and my food was not made with the same quality. I ordered the Mile High Turkey--it had half a tomato and 3 slices of meat. My husband's sandwich was also lacking. I selected jalapeño chips, we got regular and he did not get his drink. The drink was probably a delivery person fail. I realize now to order only when I'm there to watch. It's just sad that workers wouldn't put the same quality sandwich if they're not being watched. The work ethic has really gone down hill. I used to go to lenny's all the time, but stopped going completely on account of this location. They always leave ingredients I've ordered out of the sandwich. I believe it happened to me about 5 or 6 times within a span of 6 months. So half the time they mess up my order. And I don't mean they forgot the olives or banana peppers boohoo, no, they often forget the bacon and avocado. What makes it worse is bacon and avocado is a part of the sandwich name! At least I got the turkey I guess. One time I ordered something different than the usual and paid extra to have bacon added. The person was still working on it when I arrived to pick it up, and I watched him pull one baby piece of bacon from the thirty overly dry pieces of bacon under the heat lamp and carefully place it onto the sandwich like it was the holy grail. read more

In short, Saturday 6/6/20 at approximately 8pm the cook reached in to the trash to pull out the receipt (granted is was in the top of the piled up trash) to verify what I ordered, then grabbed my bread to put the Philly sandwich together..... I immediately said "what are you doing... stop stop stop you reached in the trash" and he nicely said "oh sorry" and changed gloves (WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS). Subsequently he went behind the wall near the restroom where I presume they store the bread somewhere, completely out of sight with his new gloves on his dirty hands and reappeared with another 7.5 inch piece of bread. To add insult to injury, my sandwich was not made how I ordered it, and it was a waste of my time and money (moot point because I threw it in the trash anyway.)Some re-education and guidance is highly needed and recommended. Especially during a pandemic. I'm disgusted with your store and the lack of basic understanding that food prep should be taken VERY serious, and washing hands is a minimum. Can really complain about anything in particular here. I'm just a real stickler, and usually don't give five stars. I have placed a few to go orders here for my father. I am not a huge fan of the food here (but that's just a PERSONAL preference thing), although I have had a tuna salad wrap that was very good. When I've been here to place the orders to go I've had pleasant experiences. The men and women working there are very nice and I have found them in good humor. I've enjoyed my interactions with those I've met. The location itself is easy to access and is bright and inviting. The times I have been there ....there are multiple tables taken and it's clean.
