I really enjoyed their Philly Cheese steak on my first visit in late February so much so today was my 6th visit. Matter of fact I was bragging about it, even positively comparing it to Geno's of Philadelphia earlier today. Tender meat and grilled onions coated in melted cheese on a hoagie roll that contained but didn't overpower the ingredients. So imagine my disappointment when I say if the sandwich I received today (4/6/26) had been the sandwich I got in February then I never would have returned. Today the meat was dry and NOT tender, couldn't even taste the onions and the only reason I believe there was cheese on it was the onions and meat stuck together. My wife liked the limited time Crab Salad sandwich they had during March and was disappointed that time was over today. She would love to see it become a regular menu item. She returned to the Philly she remembered from February and like me, was severely disappointed today. I would have posted this review on the Lenny's Website but it doesn't even recognize the Tulsa location while requiring a location to leave any type of feedback. Next time I will do it my way...Not Lenny's way. You probably have to do a little experimenting here to make each sub turn out the way you like it. I tried the Italian Sub, Lenny's Way. It was a mistake. The sub had a decent amount of meat: Ham, Prosciutto, Capicola, and Genoa salami. Lenny's way has the typical mixture of salad components that you find on a sub, plus vinegar and oil dressing, and pickles. I added Pepperoncini peppers and the red pepper sauce. My mistake. I normally like all of those condiments on a sandwich, but it was too much for this Italian Sub. All that I could taste was vinegar. It took over the sandwich. After a few bites I raked off the peppers and the very vinegary pickles, which improved the sandwich. Now I know. Don't order Lenny's way, order it your way, with some of the condiments on the side, so you can figure out what works with the particular type of sub you prefer. My wife had the Tuna Sub. She enjoyed it. Lenny's way worked on the Tuna Sub for her. Service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is clean. read more

Just watched the guy making my to go order touch my sandwich, scrape extra toppings off the cutting board with his gloved hand, eat the toppings off his hand, and then continue to prepare my sandwich wearing the same gloves. Once he wrapped up my sandwich he picked up the rest of the extra spill over toppings off the cutting board and ate them. What is going on in this place!? I walked out and threw my sandwiches in the trash. If these are the food handling violations you do in front of customer, what goes on in the back? Absolutely disgusting! Lennys Subs has a lot of great options for a sub shop. You can order ahead by phone or online. The staff is always super friendly which cannot be said for all sub shops. This location is nearby my work so we have done catering through Lennys several times and they always deliver sold quality. For catering, they have several options, but one of our favorites is to do the box lunches that way everyone can pick which sub, chips, and drink they want. Favorite sub here is the chicken philly, but everything else I've tried here has been delicious. The subs come in 5", 7.5", 10", 15" or a wrap. The variety of sizes offered is nice. I like to get the 5" because then I have room for chips or a cookie. They have their own house brand of chips that are pretty tasty. read more

So I went a little overboard on this one. The Service - My sandwich maker was very attentive and helpful. Made a number of suggestions and played with me when I was being silly. The price - I can't speak to this as I ordered a sandwich that wasn't meant to be a value. The food - Fantastic!!! So the bread was that delicious italian style loaf that has a small amount of crunch to the top of it but hot doughy goodness in the middle. Upon walking in I was really expecting something much more than what it is. But what they do offer is pretty darn good. I am not a fan of sandwiches, so for me to be a fan you have to be doing something unique! I have been to Lenny's a few times since I have moved here and apparently it is one of the favorite sandwich places in Tulsa. My company orders it often for everyone, so those were the first time I have tried it. I never thought it was horrible, but I just felt like it was nothing that special. I have also been to the actual location for lunch as well and it is the same thing if you were to cater it. I have tried several items, the hot subs, cold subs, salads, and even the hot dog. I just feel like none of it does anything for me. I have never craved it again after I leave there. I do enjoy their hot relish, but that is about the only thing they do different. The bread is okay and the meat taste like something you can buy at the store. I don't know, this place is just so underwhelming to me. Every time I do go here the staff is always pleasant and I feel like that is why I do not mind going back. That and also the fact that everyone I work with loves the food here. I wish there was something they could do to make it better. Jimmy Johns has always been my favorite sub shop and Lenny's just does not compare.
