There are dozens of these Burger, Sub, Baked Potato, Gyro places in Tulsa. Most all of them ran by owners of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean descent. What's with that? Are they all spin offs of Bill and Ruth's? There are so many of these little restaurants scattered around Tulsa, that they don't rate high on my list of places to try. They are all alike. However, this little shop has a fairly good rating on both Google and Yelp, that stood out. And I didn't want Mexican or diner food today. Inside, plain Jane sandwich shop décor. Order at the counter; pick your food up at the counter. I have already described the menu. I ordered the Gyro platter with Hummus and Tabouli. My wife had the loaded baked potato with chili. The Gyro meat had been reheated, which is no big deal. The pita bread soft, hot and fresh. The Tabouli and Hummus fair. My wife thought the chili on the baked potato was excellent. The owner working the counter is a very nice guy, great customer service. We enjoyed the food. Try a Burger! read more

Friendly service. FRESH and hot food. I grabbed the veggie Philly although I would need to try the real deal to get a true idea, but the veggie was flavorful. I'm supposing the grill is seasoned well, they know how to season their veggies when cooking, or both. Everything was served piping hot and I could tell my fries weren't sitting under some lamp. Was in the area and recalled seeing a Tulsa World review about Steak & Bake, so decided to give it a try. We ordered the 12 inch Philly Steak sandwich and fries. I was thinking we'd receive a foot long sandwich that we would cut in half. Instead it was made in two 6 inch buns, which worked out well.. After a short wait, the sandwich and fries were served piping hot. Actually too hot to immediately bite into. There was plenty of meat in the sandwich, but it lacked some flavor. We were both adding salt & pepper and felt it still needed something more........perhaps more cheese and larger chunks of pepper/onion. The diced pepper & onions kind of disappeared and didnt offer much. While it was okay and the service was friendly, I wont be rushing back, but if in the area would consider stopping in again. read more

We love this place! We eat here on Friday nights as a tradition. Great Mediterranean food and really nice owners. They always take care of us.The Mediterranean feast, cabbage roll platter, gyros, and kids meals are all great. We have pretty high standards. 1.5 Stars Went here for a later scheduled lunch to try the cheese steaks. I thought I had ordered the 12" Philly cheese steak but was served a 12oz hamburger steak. So miscommunication there. I was too hungry to ask for what I ordered and will accept equal percent of the blame for not following up with what I ordered. I also probably should've ordered one of their weekend mediterranean specials, because why I got was underwhelming. Wife got the chicken philly. They give you lots of meet and veggies, but bread looked like a standard hoagie roll you can get at the super market. Kids got a grilled cheese, that was utterly burnt and demolished. Like inside and outside was black. Whoever cooked it knew too, because the put the most burnt side face down in the basket. The kids were on the verge of hangry meltdown, so I didn't bother asking for a new one. At least they ate it. read more

I just moved into the area and have been trying various places. On the menu I aw cabbage rolls and tabouli which I happened to have been craving. I got 2 cabbage rolls, a gyro, and a side of tabouli. The gyro is your run of the mill Kronos pita, but the lamb/beef was seasoned to perfection. The cabbage rolls are unlike any I have had before but we're amazing. The tabouli I was leery about due to the amount of parsley, but was shocked how good it was. I've now been there 2 days in a row and had a good patty melt too. The real star of S&B is their Mediterranean Feast that is offered on Friday & Saturdays!!! Gyro meat is superb, along with spicy hummus! This place has good gyros(nice size)and pretty good burgers. Coworker got the double burger and he thought it was in the top 5-7 in Tulsa. Fries are frozen, okra is fair, and drinks are coke products. Ketchup is in a pump on the bar. Owners are friendly, Definitely worth a second trip, if you are at 101st and Sheridan give it a try. read more

So where do I begin. My daughter yesterday brought some wings, burgers, cheesesteaks home. So I tried a little and was amazed of how the wings and burger was. Almost Iike a place from back home in NY. So I call and place the order today for 2 cheese steaks and kids meal strips. I specifically say 1 with everything and 1 without mushrooms cause of allergies. Low and behold $31 later both have mushrooms. So I proceeded to call and for the next 20 min the line is busy.
