Way better than texadelphia etc. The meat is super thinly sliced and grilled the right way since the chain has its origins in south jersey where every place has Philly cheesesteaks. It's a better Subway. Good subs. Now that Rotonto's has gone belly-up I get my subs here. A good Philly Cheesesteak. Today it was a meatball. They're a little slow with their hot sandwiches. Their buns are a little hard for me, but dem's the breaks. UPDATE: I'm lowering my rating one star. I still get a sandwich here occasionally but this place has become a trial. When I began coming here the manager was a young man who was personable and pleasant. He left a while back and his father replaced him (owner of this shop I think). He is slow, speaks severely broken English and does a lot of things wrong. I became a member of their Club early on. You are supposed to get one free sub every so often. I would tell the guy I was in the club assuming a visit was recorded. I'm really bad about checking receipts. After a year or so my wife who checks receipts went with me. We bought one sub to share. She said he's charged you for two. It turns out he'd been charging me for a "club" sandwich I didn't order instead of giving me credit for a visit time after time. This place is really good. I ordered from the one off of Webster and HWY 3. I actually had a last minute conference meeting scheduled and I had to order food for everyone and they met all my expectations. They even delivered our food as well and we were 10 miles from them. This is the worst single experience I have ever had in a fast-food restaurant in my entire long life. Seriously! The person behind the counter was friendly, but very creepy.. The tuna sandwich and chicken salad sandwich we ordered were not edible. There was an odd taste to the both. Both of our stomachs started getting upset halfway through eating them, so we stopped and just threw out the rest of both sandwiches. We had upset stomachs later on too. The chocolate chip cookies were burned so badly on the bottoms that we could not eat them either. This is the first time I have ever thrown out a chocolate chip cookie! To add insult to injury, the amount charged was nearly two dollars over the amount of the coupon we had. The clerk added everything up individually, then used the wrong discount and overcharged us. Just purchased 3 sandwich's from here. 2 Italian on wheat and 1 chicken salad on whole grain. The whole grain was so hard I couldn't bite into it! I went in for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. It seems they are competing with Subway with the selection of similar subs, and chips/cookie for sides. One of the major things that separates Lenny's from Subway or any other sub shop I've been to is the freshness. I ordered a turkey on wheat with hot pepper relish. The bread was soft and fluffy, and the meat is sliced fresh and paper thin. The prices are comparable, but the quality is off the charts. I'll definitely be returning. read more

Oh Lenny's, how I love thee! For me, everything about their sandwiches is perfect. I love their bread, they heap the meat on there, the cheese is good, and the hot pepper relish is absolutely to die for. For me, no other subs can really compare. I used to really like this Lenny's location until it seemed that staff/mgmt. changed and it went downhill fast. I still went occasionally up until I found a razor sharp glass shard in the lettuce of my sandwich. it actually cut my finger open when I touched it to examine what it was. Originally from the East Coast living in Chicago, I am deprived of a good cold cut. Chicago knows a lot about food but is clueless about how to make a good cold cut. Though since I have recently been transferred to the Clear Lake area, I was more than happy to find Lenny's. When I went to Lennys for the first time, I was hoping to find a sandwich that would wow me like Jason's Deli but that is not what I got. I ordered a 5 inch chicken philly which had plenty of meat and cheese but lacked green peppers and onions. I could barely see the green peppers because they were chopped up very fine and I didn't see any onions. I was expecting lots of larges pieces grilled onions and peppers like I saw in the picture posted on the website. I didn't find out about the sandwiches until I got home where I couldn't say anything to them about it. I won't be going back there again. read more

This place is just not what it was when I first started going almost ten years ago. The management has changed a couple of times and for the worse each time. I waited almost ten minutes to get my cold sandwich made, with a couple of sandwiches ahead of me, to top it off they didn't even ring me up so I could sit down a have something to drink. This Lenny's used to be great when they first opened and I would go at least once a week to get their club sub. HOWEVER, over the past several years they have been skimping on meat here. The sandwhich is half the size it used to be at the same cost. When working downtown I would go to the Lenny's in the tunnel and they always loaded the sandwhich with correct amount of meat. So much so that it'd make me full whereas I'd still be hungry after eating the same sandwhich at this location. My advice: Go to another location or Antonini's Subs a street down (Medical Center) they have more bang for your buck. read more

I ordered the club on a regular sub wheat bread. For a sub shop, their sandwiches are longer than I expected(they're roughly 8 inches). It comes with turkey,bacon,and ham along with provolone cheese and any veggies you desire...except spinach-they don't carry it. The sandwich is around 8 bucks along with tax. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. The sandwiches were mediocre at best. The wait time with only two people ahead of me took over 35 minutes just to get a sub sandwich to go. However, the fact that the gentleman sneezed, scratched his hair, and had no intentions of washing his hands before making the meals of the two nice ladies in the line in front of me or mine even. I was just introduced to Lenny's about 4 months ago, and I'm really mad I didn't discover it the previous 2+ years since I've lived here. Lenny's sandwiches are very good and reasonably priced. I've had the Italian, the Classic, and the Turkey and I'm not sure which one is my favorite - they are all very good. I haven't tried their Cheesesteaks, but having never been to Philly, I'm not sure I could give an accurate review on them anyway... I do hear they are good though. read more

This location is awesome! I walked up at about 7:59 (not knowing they closed at 8) and the guy working came and opened the door to welcome us.
