the staff is rude and unprofessional. our unit was dirty and not presentable when we moved in. no one ever seems to be in the office. they are in breach of the lease in multiple areas. the 'gated community' has gates that have never worked. there was an undercover drug sting with police drawing firearms - no notice went out. a guy flipped his car and a week later died on the property. there is dog poop everywhere. the heat and ac hardly work. people are smoking everywhere. this is an absolute scam. they don't verify how income is made so anyone can live here which seems great but then you have some really shady people coming and going. read more

Property is beautiful, location is good, buildings look nice on the outside. The positives stop there. Paying over $4,000/ month - the unit was FILTHY and in disrepair on move in. Finishes are all cheap and constantly falling apart. Want to submit a maintenance request? Good luck - completely unresponsive, and if they do show up, it's completely unannounced. Property management is AWFUL and essentially useless. Once you sign a lease, you no longer exist. They don't reply to emails, and treat tenants like inmates. The place is constantly in shambles and they do nothing about it. They're unresponsive and terrible at their jobs. It's been 28 days since I told the truth about this " luxury lifestyle " and nobody from the company or corporate is even concerned???Update... woah was I blind sided by the fallacies of this " Luxury " community. I did a lot research when moving into this community, gated community for safety, dog friendly, school districts, amenities, the fair price of the amount of sq footage and nice looking townhomes, garages, driveways, and picked corner unit in the back to feel safe and quiet. Well.. I hate to ruin it for anyone looking to move here! Please save yourself the stress and money! I have never been so sick and stressed for the last 6 months in my life! Last year no AC, went to hotel for 4 days $480 and they told me to turn it into my renters insurance. Was 99 degrees with two large dogs and two small children. In winter had no heat. Was 52 degrees and they dropped off a small 16 inch x16 inch electric heater. Went to hotel again and they said no chose not to stay in the unit! Brand new furnace had to be placed. And the electric bills for using the two small windows ac units for a 2000 sq ft townhouse, went up close to $550 a month! No reimbursement for that either! Now they are attempting to evict us for having an aggressive dog. We have lived there 3 years and never had any complaints about our ESA dogs. Neighbors had their dog off leash and my dog ran to get it away from me and their dog lost a tooth in my dogs head! My dog is 120 pounds! The neighbors is about 30 pounds. My dog is professionally trained and did what she was supposed to. She could have killed that dog if she was aggressive! Even though there were absolutely no injuries to the neighbors dog and the tooth was lost in my dogs skull and punctured in her muzzle, 4 days later she started having seizures! Only 16 months old. On 24 pills a day that costs $600 a month and we have paid $23,000 in vet bills! They refused to provide the neighbors up to date vaccinations or the renters insurance so we can file claim to get our money back. And guess who's getting blaimed and evicted for " harboring and aggressive dog" yup! Us! They never even did an investigation, called to get our statement, no call to animal control, nothing, they threw a letter from their legal team requesting " immediately remove your aggressive dog upon receiving this letter, it attacked and caused injuries to neighbors dog! If you fail to remove the dog we will be forced to start eviction proceedings! Ummm are u kidding me? This dog is prescribed to me as part of my treatment for my disability! That's like asking me to throw a child out when they did absolutely nothing wrong! They refused to email, call, speak to me at all and told me to contact legal. Who they also failed to answer me ! They are updating and renovating all older vacancies and we are the ones paying for the new ones with the old floor plans! The director should never be in that seat! The amount of complaints I hear about this property and her is ridiculous! And she s either not in the office or shuts her door! And god forbid you ever go to her upset about their negligence, you either get an email saying stop or we will not renew your lease or like me, the day my dog had 15 seizures in less than two hours I wanted her to watch the video of what she is putting me and my family through for selective enforcement and not properly following any kind of investigation process, I now have a " no trespassing order and will go to jail for 30'days if I ever enter the Office again! Which the office is a part of of my amenities in my lease and they removed me from having access just because she can't respond to her ignorance of property management and customer service! God forbid you have a layoff or need assistance! Don't apply and use RAFT! You will be getting evicted or non renewed for whatever reason they come up with! It's sad. I chose this place to call home, to feel safe, to have dogs and children around. I don't even feel safe in my own home anymore. I lived here on two separate occasions for one year leases and I do not recommend Lenox Farms. I certainly will not be moving back ever again. I lived in a townhouse for the first lease in 2018. The apartment itself was nice overall but when we moved in there was a horrible cigarette smell. I talked to the leasing office about it and they were not helpful so I spent $100 on odor eater products and eventually got rid of it myself. There was also a moth problem and I had to buy moth traps. There also wasn't much natural light in the unit and it seemed dark all the time. The shower also got moldy quickly do to the horrible ventilation in the bathrooms. On a positive note, the private garage was very nice to have. When it came time to renew the lease they were going to raise the rent about $150/month. I moved elsewhere due to personal reasons. Fast forward to 2020, I was drawn back in by the private garages and nice photos of the units on the website. I had a dog now so I picked an apartment unit near the back by the dog park. Things started off good and Jessica was helpful. About halfway through our lease things seemed to change. First, the maintenance employees who were great and very helpful left and we seemed to have lots of random contractors coming in to fix things. Also communication from the leasing office took a turn for the worst with miscommunications and lack of communication about literally everything. When the leasing office did respond, they told you what you want to hear and not what they were actually going to do. For example, cars park alongside the curbs on a daily basis and this is not allowed per the lease. The leasing office claims that they are addressing it and writing tickets but the picture below is what I saw everyday. It's funny that some people paid for reserved spaces and other selfish, entitled people just parked right in front of their door with no repercussions. Another thing that I emailed them about a few times was the DOG POOP. This place had the worst dog poop problem I've ever seen with irresponsible owners not picking up. There was literally poop every two feet. Lenox Farms did nothing other than send out emails. Oh wait, they did leave an aggressive letter from a lawyer in every single person's door (whether or not they owned a dog) threatening to evict them if they didn't pick up. But do you think anyone was every evicted? Now let's get to some more concerning topics before I forget - the CRIME. There were multiple high-profile incidents during the year that I lived here. A SWAT team conducted a high-risk search warrant to arrest someone living here. Another warrant was served on a stash house that was being used to store 100lbs of weed. Then there was the SHOOTING! Just do a quick Google search and see this for yourself. What did the leasing office do about all of this? Good question because I don't know. Made another attempt to fix that front gate that's been broken for 5 years and then gave up I guess. Let's get to the move out process before I get too carried away. We were paying roughly $2600 a month for a one bedroom apartment (not including dog rent fee). Around move out time they had about 20 units available at Lenox Farms and the rents were much cheaper. They were still going to RAISE our rent about $100/month to sign a new lease! Once we decided to get the hell out and end the lease, they posted our same apartment on the website for about $300 CHEAPER. Yet they always say everything is "market rate" so they can't be flexible. Outrageous! And a huge slap in the face to good tenants who always paid the rent on time. Prior to move out I ask what to do with the keys and I'm told to leave them on the counter and lock the door when I leave. I do exactly that. 4 days later, I get a call from the leasing office asking where the keys are. I tell them I left them on the counter and they say they just went into the apartment (4 days later) and can't find them. Furthermore, that new tenants are moving in the next day and we are going to be charged for new keys if they can't be found! What!? You waited until now to look for the keys? Then when I tell them I got a maintenance alert that maintenance went into the apartment the next morning and we also paid for the apartment to be cleaned so cleaners would have gone in, they backed off and let it be. Okay, so I think this nightmare is almost over but nope - then we get a bill for a $500 carpet replacement! We left the carpets exactly as we found them and there was no need to replace the carpet but they somehow thought they could charge us an extra $500! After numerous phone calls and emails back and forth Jonalis FINALLY removed the charge because the person who allegedly did the inspection and had pictures seemed to never be in the office and there was no proof at all that the carpets needed to replaced or that we caused it. Even trying to get away from this place was a major headache. Conclusion - DO NOT MOVE HERE! read more

I recently moved to Fl and cannot enough about the amenities. I was at Lenox Farms in Braintree for 7 years. The staff was great then, now they are callous and good give a rats ass! I met the person who was taking over our lease on Aug 21. The new Renter came to see the unit she would be acquiring on Sept 8. I met with Eleni a few days later and I have a note written by her with rent that would be due for $750. Consequently we rented a place in Florida, made Airline reservations , had rotator cuff surgery and vacated the premises. We were never told that the new renter would not be moving in.Now we are being charged for a whole month. We gave 90 day notice but never asked by staff for move out or lease coverage by new tenant! This landlord is HORRIBLE and we are suing them! Our apartment was completely flooded by a pipe burst happened suddenly at night. Just me and my two year old daughter were at home, and we were scared and shocked about the incident. The next day I called the office, they have no empty unit to put us and they are not offering any help, they just tell me to call my insurance company to find a solution. We suddenly became homeless with a two-year old little girl!!! They sent construction team to our apartment and started tear down the floor and carpet and repair, leaving me and my daughter nowhere to stay during this pandemic, we have no choice but to fly to our relatives' in another state, because I am a working-mom and I need help. Besides, we don't know how long it will take for them to finish repair work. The director first offered me to move out and terminate the lease. But, after a few days, they changed their mind and told me no, we have to come back to stay in the lease. I find a lawyer to represent us, but the landlord tried to intimidate me by keeping sending me letters saying I owe them the rent until the end of the lease. We soon figured out that for all the repair work they did, they don't even pull any permit, it's a quick and dirty fix. The pipes might burst again and the electronic outlet/equipments were not inspected formally... They have no right to ask me to come back, and stay in that horrible apartment. I have no trust in this landlord! A similar accident happened to our neighbor a year ago, who also suffered from flooding. But, luckily they were offered an empty unit to stay. They dont't care about their resident, they just chase for money and try to scare you away with the big company title. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! read more

Looks can be deceiving. This place is not well-maintained and the corporate owners are terrible to work with. I'm owed a security deposit still, two months after moving out. Service orders are slow, if ever completed without nagging the on-site staff, water bills are exorbitant, for no apparent reason, landscaping crew have no respect for vehicles and will blow snow and sediment on your cars with snowblowers, lawn mowers, and leaf blowers. The Facebook page and google page show photos that aren't even of this property... and the on-site staff were told, but couldn't be bothered to change them. Don't forget the gate that didn't work for the 14 months that I lived there! I have never seen it closed. read more

It's 6pm on Sunday and there is a deafening alarm by the trash compactor that's been going off since 330am this morning. It was impossible to sleep. Can't get ahold of anyone from maintenance even though there's supposed to be 24hr available emergency service. The dispatch said no one can turn it off until Monday. I have lived here for 3 months now. In that time we have had a water heater explode that left us without hot water for a day and 2 leaks in our ceiling. At the moment, they are tearing apart a big area of my apartment to repair the water damage. The maintenance staff are responsive and do try to help, but there seems to be a lack of coordination that makes everything much more difficult. In my first weeks of being a resident there was apparently a dispute with the trash service which resulted in the trash and recycling overflowing in the dumpster area. It was disgusting and took the better part of 2 weeks to resolve. It still happens periodically that there is a giant pile of trash sitting on the ground when I go to drop my trash off. I would not want to (and am glad I do not) live near those dumpsters for this specific reason. During summer one would expect the a weekly grass cutting was normal, however, if there is a holiday on a Monday. Forget it, that's too hard to plan for (it's not like they are known in advance or anything). No, we get to go 2 weeks before the grass gets cut so it looks like a field instead of a lawn between the buildings. In the first ceiling leak I was told they would come back to paint the stain in my ceiling. To date this has not happened. For example, there was the seal coating project for the driveways. I had to move my car 5 times before they actually performed the seal coating in my area. Each time there was a notice that the next day was when my area was being completed. So being responsible I had to move my car to ensure it was not sealed in that day. In addition, they sent an e-mail about cancelling my area one of those times, but apparently they seal coated just a small strip right in front of my garage. So now I have tar on my garage floor from that. Another example: There is an effort to replace the toilets and aerators in the sinks. Roughly one third of the community was completed and then everything stopped. No notice, no updates, just a dumpster and storage containers parked by my unit for months now. Another example: There was some notice about the gates to the community were being repaired and would be used. They even went as far as to distribute gate openers to the residents. Just before the announced date for the gates to work there was an e-mail saying there was an issue and it was being postponed. Then nothing. The gates still don't work to my knowledge. Another example: The a/c in the clubhouse broke as some point in early July. There was no notification of this and when calling during the July 4 holiday about why the clubhouse was 95 F inside they said there was nothing they could do. So that was a ruined party with guests that could have been avoided by a simple e-mail about something being broken in advance. However, we did get 5 e-mails detailing a Luau party they had later in the month (because that's much more important than letting residents know when the amenities are unusable). When viewing the units we specifically asked about insulation between units and were told unequivocally that there are no complaints and the units are very quiet. Well, turns out that wasn't true. Laying in bed, I can hear my neighbors snore, them sing to their baby, and every footstep my upstairs neighbor takes. During my most recent ceiling leak, I managed to take photos of the ceiling to prove there is absolutely no insulation between the floors. If you don't like hearing crying babies all night, then you definitely want to look elsewhere. Lastly, there used to be a movie theater. However, that is now gone and we were promised a yoga/spin studio. Instead they simply moved the weight equipment into the old movie theater room (which is now too cramped to use effectively) and put some yoga mats on the floor in the old weight area. Tl;Dr; For the $2500+/mo it costs for these "luxury" apartments the only thing lacking is luxury, communication, and follow through. read more

I was happy when i moved in and it seemed to be a nice community. I had a great experience with the management and over all I liked everything. I even gave good rating for them. BUT until I decided to move out after my completion of lease as I bought a new house. The management also has changed now and since then everything has screwed up. I have emailed Jessica/Jeff several times with few questions and I have never got any response back from them ever on any of my emails. I mean i understand that a person can miss an email or two by mistake but not responding to any of the emails is not acceptable. Unwilling to help, the new management really need to pull up their socks and do a better job. I have hear complaints from other current residents too. Now the fun part. Once you move out they will literally rob you. Yes thats the right word. They billed me $650 telling me that I did a carpet damage. I don't smoke, had no pets and kept the apartment very clean and gave them back in the same condition I got it. They just billed me this amount without even notifying/letting me know that they are doing any changes on damage that I might have done. So basically once you leave, don't be surprise if they bill you $3000 for any Bullshit they make up and try screw you. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT COME HERE OR YOU WILL END UP IN MY SITUATION. I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STAR IF I COULD! read more

Although I moved out months ago, I have friends at Lenox Farms and still visit frequently. Management continues to turn over, rents increase and the issues remain the same. The "security" gates still not functioning (over two years), trash facilities are a worse eyesore and unsanitary mess than ever, but management offices completely renovated including new artwork and a fancy coffee machine. Gym equipment is FAR from "state of the art" - treadmill that was broken 4 months ago, STILL broken. New furniture in the clubhouse to impress potential customers but residents who've lived here for five years can't get their nasty old carpet replaced. Rules change with office staff and property "manager", vendors not managed and staff morale is poor. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DUMP!! read more

My husband and I have lived here for a few months and couldn't be happier. The quality of the unit is great, and it was clean upon move-in. The amenities offered are great as well: shuttle to the red line is convenient, the gym and rec area is good as well, and their snow removal is fast and thorough. As far as slow response times on service requests, that hasn't been my experience. We had a water pipe start leaking and shut off our water late one evening and the maintenance man drove all the way up from Cape Cod to fix it that night. Would definitely recommend, great value for your money here in the Boston area. read more

My wife and i have lived here for 6 months, i have to say the winter snow removal was good, i leave for work at 7:45am and it was already cleared by then. The community looks nice from the outside, the first time we came to visit it looked awesome. The apartments are nice and the main building is keep in top conditions. Unfortunately this is not the case with the rest of the community. This is a dog friendly community and with that comes the dog poop problem and as a Luxury Community you'd think they will have something in place to take care of this, but no. I am writing this review just to give my story. 22 days ago i filled a complaint about someone leaving dog poop right outside my door, 3 ft from my door. Not solid poop, more like cow pies. 22 days of back and forth emails with the office of how much they care and how they try to enforce everything but there is still dog poop outside my door. Last email i got today was trying to explain how every dog friendly community has this problem ( not true ), this sounded more like an excuse than a solution and is just disappointing. The truth is while Lenox Farms has nice looking apartments, the front office customer service is way bellow average. You'd think that for the amount of money you pay here you'd get better service since a mortgage for a half of million dollars is cheaper and you wouldn't have to deal with someone else's poop. We moved out recently and figured I'd update my opinion based on our last 6 months there. Most of my negative issues come from the lack of follow through by management re: their laundry list of rules. It's not fair to have all these rules, but only enforce them willy nilly. -The buildings are still beautiful but began to look boring and uninviting on my daily walk towards the end of our lease. You can't showcase your personality there as "it lessens the aesthetic continuity". Hogwash I say! However, some renters there believe they are above the rule and did so anyway... not fair for those who followed the lease faithfully. No grills? I saw them. No twinkle lights? I saw them. No wreaths? I saw plenty. One American flag? Oh they saw that though... that couple was told to take it down. But the rest all stayed? Not fair, and un-American. -No parking along the curb or your car will be towed= HA! Our leasing agent told us and it was engrained in our memory...no parking there! Apparently everyone else missed the memo. We ALWAYS had some snob parking directly across from our garage along the curb. ALWAYS. During many of the snow storms our area was last to be plowed thanks to that car. I often daydreamed about ramming my car through the snow banks and sideswiping their Beamer... oops? Did I do that? But I'm sure I'd be the one to blame even though he was illegally parked. -Noise level= Maybe I was deaf the first 6 months... or maybe it was that our neighbor hadn't given birth yet. Good lord... hubby and I decided NOT to have kids because of this reason! 3am cry fests! If it wasn't the baby screaming at all hours of the day (so loud you'd swear it was in the same room with us!) then it was all the "baby mama drama" going on over there. I've got the dish on that couple... even though I tried to drown out their quarrels with tv! (Lady, if you're reading this, he's a dog and leave him!) LOL! -Dog friendly=sneaker enemy. I must have stepped in dog crap at least 4 times here. Watch where I'm walking you say? Well I'm sorry, I didn't think I'd have to pay too much attention on the paved walkways. Lazy people who don't care about others. Notice after notice from management asking pet owners to please be more courteous but never any follow through with their enforcement. Lame. $120 Nike Air Max sneaks ruined. This place is super expensive and I thought there would be more adherence to the rules. I called the emergency line because my father had called me at work to say the microwave would not shut off. He was a little frazzled and Nick came right over and found out it was just the fan. When I sold my house in a very quiet rural area and decided to rent, finding someplace quiet yet close to the city was a top priority. After doing my homework and reading reviews on apartmentfinder and rent.com, I narrowed it down to three choices before choosing Lenox Farm. Eleni was my leasing agent. She was helpful, pleasant and courteous, and always prompt in getting back to me. When she was not available I found Andrew to be great at answering questions and getting back to be in a timely fashion. Kudos to both of them for being so great. They helped make my move (both in and out) as well as my overall experience at Lenox Farm easy and enjoyable. Obviously one's experience is going to vary upon where they live in this or any other community. My unit was in the back corner on the second floor. After doing such thorough research I expected it to be quiet, but I had no idea that I would never hear a single surrounding neighbor. Couple that with the fact that I had a private garage that entered directly into my unit, and I knew I had made the correct choice. During my one year stay at Lenox Farm, I tried to see the negatives that other reviewers had pointed out. Yes, occasionally people parked alongside the curb right outside of their unit. However, it was always addressed pretty quickly as the cars would only be there for a week or two before returning to the correct parking spaces. I would say I walked around the community a fair amount, particularly in the nicer months, and never found any stray animal waste. The clubhouse, pool, gym, and other amenities were always available when they were supposed to be, well maintained and enjoyable. I spent more than my fair share of time at the pool Last Summer. The community grounds were always meticulously maintained, and snow removal never caused even the slightest delay in my daily routine. If I had to find something to gripe about it would be the following: -Occasionally the shower would take a while before hot water was present, even in the warmer months. -The price seems a little on the high side (Rent was equivalent to a mortgage on a $425,000 house) considering it's Braintree and not the city, but is consistent with surroundings communities, and by far the best value. (meaning they're all overpriced). -The front gate was broken and stayed open for months at a time. Before moving a little further south to be closer to work I had a change of heart and wanted to stay at Lenox Farm, but by that point my unit was already leased to another (apparently it's a desirable unit). Nobody's fault but mine. Overall my experience at Lenox Farm was great and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering renting south of the city. read more

I just posted a photo. I have sent Lenox Farms/UDR three times and haven't heard from them yet. An email to on site management on September 1st and two text messages to someone in the corporate office. To date, NO ONE responded. Here is a copy of my email: "The other day, my wife and I took our 2 great (error in original...should have said "year") old daughter out to the playground here on premises. Our daughter ran up onto the jungle gym and stopped as we were walking behind her.  She stopped and picked something up that was ON the jungle gym near a slide. My wife immediately slapped it out of her hand once she noticed what it was...but after our daughter had picked it up. What had she picked up?  A USED TAMPON (see photo attached). I'm disgusted beyond measure and upset because our daughter held it.  Lenox routinely sends out emails to the community regarding improperly parked cars.  I would hope Lenox will also address this as well since it poses a SIGNIFICANT  health risk and cannot be ignored.  My wife can comment on the seriousness of the health risks since she is the Infectious Disease Physician.  As a father and tenant who has lived here for many years...potentially far longer than your average resident...I'm disgusted and angry.  To add to this,  we received a letter saying our rent will be increased again if we choose to stay here for another year.  I can tell you that my wife and I were not always a Doctor and an Attorney. We were once living in apartments that were anything but "luxury." In that time,  however, we have NEVER experienced anything like this in this so-called "Luxury" establishment.  And now, our rent is going to be increased if we decide to remain.  To be honest,  we're not sure if we should post this on social media, move out or what we should do. I'll end with this... look at the photo and imagine how you would feel if you had picked it up...now imagine if it was your two year old daughter. And for that "privilege" we another rent increase?" What type of person leaves such a thing on a jungle gym? What kind of person doesn't just throw it into the garbage? Those are not things that i fault Lenox Farms for because clearly whomever did that is a sick person. My issue is a lapse of leadership and BASIC Customer Service. We have been contacted three times about renewing our lease, but no one has contacted us regarding the incident. That's BASIC customer service. This place says it's luxury but clearly it's not. Even you pay almost $4,000 per month, you have a right to expect a certain level of customer service. (tenure my prior post for other examples). I'll update if they ever contact me. The are a number of things that I haven't commented on out of concern of reprisal from Lenox Farms (i.e., a substantial increase in rent). Love the bad reviews! Definitely seen cars that have just sat. Usually friends cars left there or some piece of junk someone picked up. See my prior review but seems to be a trend of rude staff. The walls are also paper thin with no insulation. I had to sleep on my couch some nights and eventually moved my bed to my living room cause all I could hear was my neighbors doing ... stuff and yes you can hear the snoring and barking dogs and kids all day so hopefully you don't ever want a nap during the day. read more

When I moved to braintree, I had was very specific in what I wanted. I wanted to be close to red line access, feel secure, and a place where dogs were welcome with open arms. Lenox farms far exceeded my expectations. The staff always go above and beyond to try and make your life easier. Even though the monthly price of an apartment is more expensive that most other places in the area, the private garage, friendly community, and entertaining club house makes up for it. The one improvement I can see is with the shuttle. It might be beneficial to people if you have the shuttle leave in 15 minute intervals. Even though this isn't the biggest deal in the summer, watching the shuttle drive away when it is 10 degrees and snowing during the winter months is not fun for anyone and it could be easily avoided if the shuttle was on a better schedule. read more

Stay away from this place....see photos of the "luxury" the place is falling apart and a dump. The only reason they have the reviews they do is because they try and contact you and pay you to remove bad reviews. They actually left a refrigerator for three months with the doors on outside the dumpster. It's a dump. The "Fancy Town Houses!!!" Yup see the dumpster out front? Now that's classy! Read some of the reviews and clearly they are from management. They are just a little "to good" and over the top. No place is perfect but the positive reviews are over the top. Don't fall for the attempted fancy gates out front which may make one think it is for added security. They are left open most of the time and try to make you think it's a step above the other places you visit to be more secure. When they are closed you can expect them to be bent or slammed into when leaving for work the next day by the undesirable clientele that mostly lives here and their friends that visit. Shuttle to the T... Sounds great but it will cost you an extra fee monthly and is sometimes not operable with last minute notice. You can expect a large rent increase yearly for sure. If you have questions regarding the increase or anything else for that matter there is person most likely the bleached blond with the bad hair that will be nasty rude and attempt to be demeaning to you if you question anything or express your opinion or concern... Again you are bothering them. See other reviews and you will see the same. Management is pretty bad and the basically useless with no follow up or follow through as other reviews also state.Most of the time interns are left at office and with lack of experience and can't assist you. As other reviews show they will be nice when you move in but after that forget it. If you ask for anything after you sign the lease you are bothering them. This is a very high turn over property because of these reasons. Also, I hope you like the scenery just be careful where you step because everyone has dogs and they don't clean up and it is not enforced by management. Also, you will hear them bark as the walls are paper thin. Do yourself and family a favor and stay away. I pay around the same where I moved but am treated ten times better. My son and I moved into Lenox Farms last year, I love it here! We live in a townhome, with a loft, the light streams in the morning, great breeze through the house. Having a garage is amazing, the staff here are fantastic and helpful. The grounds are beautiful! The pool has a resort feel to it, they have cabana's! When I work from home I like to set in the residents lounge over looking the pool. It is just a peaceful place to be. They also have a business center, weight room and cardio equipment. One of my favorite things I like about living here is, I never hear my neighbors, the building is well built. We got a new dog park too, it has astro turf which is great, dogs don't get dirty when they play. There is some agility equipment in there too. read more

FAKE Luxury at its finest! *BEWARE* There is so much wrong with this place I don't know where I should begin, I guess I should start with the lack of safety and security in this community. The gates DO NOT WORK a female resident was chased by a unknown male in this community, she called Braintree police but they had no luck finding him how scary is that huh?!? Management said they will close the gates months later gates still aren't working. Management will deny this story just go to Braintree police department and request a crime report on Lenox farms once you see all the crap that goes on in this community you will be baffled. LOOKS ARE DECEIVING. Now Let's talk apartments I'll start with the walls they are constantly banging all hours of the night waking my family up from their sleep I called maintenance they came over and said oh it's just the pipes expanding I immediately said just the pipes expanding?!?!?!? So what's the solutions it's been months later and still I'm being told they are working on a solution, so if you haven't guessed it by now maintenance at Lenox Farms sucks they do not fix anything in a timely manner and majority of the time you are told it can't be fix because they either have to order a part or the part they need is on back order. The walls are also VERY THIN so thin I can hear my neighbor sneeze and snore ha and we are renting the townhouse so I could only imagine it's so much worst for the apartments. Water pressure is sooo low since they changed everyone's faucet it legit takes 5mins or more just for the water to get hot (you don't have to believe me try it during the tour) and since we pay for water here you're paying for all the water being wasted while you're waiting for hot water not to mention the utility bills are astronomical. How's that for luxury apartments... The floors are cheap the vinyl planks are lifting my neighbors complained about this as well. Don't you dare think you will receive ANY packages either if you are a resident here packages go missing all the time, Lenox farms has a site called active building where residents can communicate amongst each other and it's literally filled with residents looking for their packages or complaining about all the dog poop that is left in the community. The trash area is another problem it's sooo nasty the compactor is always constantly breaking as a result trash residents leave ends up overflowing into the streets and before you ask yes board of health is very aware of the situation. Another huge issue several residents are reporting seeing coyotes and a fox so if you have any fur babies and decide to move here be careful. Take the time to do research and look at other homes elsewhere make sure you do not sign a lease at Lenox farms unless you are truly happy because in order to break the lease you have to give a 60 day notice and pay 4x the rent which half of it is due within 10 days of the notice to break the lease so if your rent is 2,000 per month guess who would have to pay $8,000 to get out of your lease all because you're unhappy. Don't let the luxury look of this place fool you like it did me trust me you do want to call this place home. read more

Disclosure: I do not live here, nor have I ever lived here. Edit: I walked all across this property and was *looking* for negatives based on Yelp reviews (I wanted no surprises lol). I did not see a single dog poop or trash. To further support, the grass was a little lengthy (still very presentable, not an overgrown mess), so I know I didn't go on a day that they had just cleaned up the grounds. My bf and I were originally planning to move south of the city, but have since decided to stay in our current home for the time being. With that said, when we decide to move in the next year this will 110% be THE place. We literally toured every apartment from Quincy to Norwood in the $1500-$3000 range for a 1 or 2 bedroom. For the amenities, square footage, security, cleanliness, professionalism of the staff and price you WILL NOT find a place that ranks with Lenox farms. I work nearby and decided to call them about 20 minutes prior and see if I could come on my lunch break, they quickly accommodated me. I met with Elini, an absolutely wonderful/personable young woman, and she quickly prepped all of the info I was looking for. I told her my budget (which could accommodate a larger unit), and she didn't push to upsell me anything I didn't want. We toured a beautiful 1 bedroom (1200 SQFT!!) and she showed me all of the amenities. I was absolutely in love. She was open and honest about all of my concerns (I read a lot of reviews prior). ALL apartments have noise and the occasional crap neighbor, what do you expect when you have 500+ people living in a community? I came back again that Sunday to bring my bf and we met with Jemina, another wonderful woman! She showed us several different units across the property. Elini even followed up with me after our tour (ON HER DAY OFF!) to make sure I had all my questions answered. Absolutely wonderful team! As for the actual units: you will not find a more FUNCTIONAL unit anywhere, period. Beautiful built in bookshelves, built in office space with desk, amazing custom shelves in the walk in closet, ceiling fans, GREAT floor plans, TWO SINKS in the bathrooms, so. much. storage! I work in interior design, and the architect really made a livable space! The small details make everything for me. Huge garages with room for plenty of storage. All the little conveniences I have lived without and forgot how much I loved! The clubhouse is amazing, TWO gyms, a cardio room and a weight room, beautiful pool, office with printer, and club room with table games. The other great factor is the beautiful wooded drive into the community, so close to town/highway but you feel like you're safe and nestled in the middle of nowhere, very serene! We have lived at Lenox Farms in Braintree for over a year and 1/2 now and are LOVING every minute of it. From the convenience of its location, to the layout, to the friendly and accommodating staff, we couldn't ask for a better "living" experience. We deal mostly with Andrew in the leasing office and he's FANTASTIC! Andrew is incredibly quick to respond and sees that all of our apartment needs are dealt with in a quick and efficient manner. The entire leasing and maintenance staff are awesome! Last year's consistent snow removal is enough to put them all on a pedestal! I highly recommend Lenox Farms to anyone looking for that in between Boston and Cape Cod living experience! read more

I moved to Lenox Farms a month ago from Providence, RI. The surrounding area is nice, plenty to do, and the complex is close to the Red Line. The move-in process was easy; came here a few different times for tours of the different apartment layouts and everyone I encountered at the office was friendly & professional. I ended up renting one of the townhouses and was worried about Route 3 being kind of close, but I can't hear the traffic at all! So far, I haven't met many neighbors (everyone has their own garage and it's the dead of winter right now), but the people I've encountered at the gym and out walking their dogs have been welcoming. The complex itself is beautiful. Anytime I've had family or friends over, they are seriously jealous. It is more expensive than other places I've lived, but I think it's worth it. The gym is wicked convenient, and I've already visited the game room in the clubhouse three times! We've had a few snow storms since moving in, and the crew clearing the roads has been really thorough. I'm sure it's just a local company that gets hired to do it, but they've been doing awesome. Someone even shovels/salts our entrance stairway! For other maintenance-type stuff: I've only needed one outside light bulb replaced and I figured it would take a while since it wasn't an emergency, but it was handled the same day I submitted the request. After reading some of the other Yelp reviews, it seems that some people have issues with the on-site management enforcing corporate policies too strictly. Prior to living in Rhode Island, I actually lived at another property in Mass managed by the same company that manages Lenox and I never had any issues with the rent or anything. Maybe some people don't understand that renting from a larger management company means less "rule-bending." So far, so good! read more

I have lived here for 9 months. I agree with many of the reviews already written. I pay nearly $3000/month in rent and while the apt is nice it's not that nice. Pros: Very nice finishes in the apartments. (SS appliances, hard wood floors, huge bath tubs, granite counters, full size W/D) My experience with maintenance staff was very good. Because I have a townhouse style, little noise from my direct neighbors. You can access the T, about a 1.5 mile walk, there is a shuttle but you have to pay extra for it. Pool in the summer although crowded with the same people every time I went over. Multiple out door grills although most of the starters are broken. I had my dad visit from out of state and borrowed a bike (for free). I have used the treadmill more recently and for the most part the fitness area is very nice for an apartment 'gym'. Cons: Curb parking is banned yet people do it all the time. I have a dog and I pick up after him. Unlike many others here. So many issues with the trash compactor...ongoing saga. No recycling. I have to make a separate trip to the town for that. They put in stop signs but no one stops at them. They speed around just like they always have. Noise: Smoke alarms going off constantly. Apparently for no reason. Ours went off at 3AM, scared me right out of bed. There was no fire, no smoke etc. Rt 3 is basically my back yard. Loud trucks, sirens etc. On the other side of the complex is a shooting range which has gotten very loud with hunting season. We have to pay water and sewer. The billing cycle is 4 months behind. I need to leave a few months early on my lease due to a job. No help at all from management. Required to pay 2x monthly rent (over $5000). I have seen many people moving out recently. Bottom line don't rent here. I would not rent here if I had to do it over again. It looks nice but looks can be deceiving. UPDATE I moved out nearly 2 months ago and have as of today finally dealt with the final bill / payment with Lenox Farms. I will be glad to never deal with them or hear from them again. I also noticed on their website that the unit I left is vacant, renting at $2,751 / month. read more

On the surface this appears to be a nice place when you first visit with the exception that half of the complex is right next to a very busy / loud route 3. Interior design is nice but the materials used are cheap and drawls, fixtures, toilets etc are always breaking or falling apart - not my idea of a "luxury apartment". The community amenities are nice and it's a great place if you have a dog - if you don't like dogs don't move here. Overall this is an okay place if you don't mind paying the close to downtown Boston rents they charge. I am sure these high rents are what have driven so many people out of the complex recently. Two years ago when we moved in they were full but now they have over 30 vacant units with another 15 people scheduled to move out in the next 30 days. This leads me to my biggest problem with Lenox Farms, they are currently experiencing an exodus of tenants, have a large vacancy rate but they still are insisting on raising rents on everyone. WTF??? Gets even better, heaven forbid that your life may be up in the air and you need the flexibility of a month to month, which I understand you would usually pay an extra $500/month for that flexibility but not at this place - they want to raise rent from $3,000 to over $5,000/month! In a time when they have huge vacancies their response is to threaten the tenants to sign a new lease or they will increase your rent 65-70% !! Yes, Lenox Farms is now asking over 5k/month to live in Lametree Massachusetts next to a very busy highway in the suburbs and they don't even pay for water like most landlords - still blows my mind how they nickel and dime you. We previously lived in a brand new gorgeous high end 2 bed / 2 bath corner unit in Boston in an incredible area overlooking the harbor and the downtown skyline and paid 4k month (their penthouses were 5k). Lenox Farms is now charging more than downtown Boston -what crack head in management thought that was a good idea??? I have worked in property management and real estate for the last 20 years and with every real estate transaction you also need to plan your exit strategy (unless you plan on being there forever). Management is nice and flexible to get you in the door but now apparently on the way out they have chosen to violate and screw the tenant for every last cent they possibly can. Management is out of touch with the local market, you can't start charging Boston rents for boring suburbia - it doesn't matter if you have a pool that is only open a few months a year. BTW there are nice 3-4 bedroom homes in the same area that can be rented for $2200/month and most likely the home owners will be more appreciative and respectful of their tenants and not try to gauge and screw them over on the way out. Unless management changes over a new leaf avoid this place like plague, it will only cost you HUGE on the way out. read more

Lenox Farms is great if you want a place that's easily to qualify for as far as move in requirements - and the floor plans are generally spacious and while living there I haven't had an issue with maintenance as far as getting things done relatively quickly and within the time frame I required. It is also close to the highway - i.e. - right on the highway if you want to get to Boston in decent time, or use the T. The problems however outweigh the positive elements by far. Packages - they can go to USPS box, they can go on your doorstep or they can end up in the Parcel Pending unit - no rhyme or reason as to what goes where and if you forget to pick up a package you're charged $3 per day. Pet waste - The complex is literally covered in poop - every grass verge. They provide bags but so many people, not all, simply do not use them. So if you have children, be careful and of course, while walking around yourself, do the same. If I wanted poop to be covering my neighborhoods I wouldn't choose a luxury unit. Snow removal - removal of snow happens and it done well, but they are lazy when it comes to putting down salt on the steps etc which resulted in me suffering a concussion. Garbage - A "luxury" development yet the garbage area is sat right out front for all to see, not only are there 3 massive dumpsters sat out for everyone to look at - they're a consistent mess ... with management unable to get this under wraps. Often sending out desperate emails that are lengthy, pompous and have little to no effect. Gets tiresome when you are someone who manages to put their garbage in the unit. Note this is such a luxury development that the garbage area has LIVE CCTV trained on it 24/7. What the hell? Gated Community - no it is not, yes technically it has gates but in 2 years they have never worked - so giving me codes for the front gates and blah blah-ing about how safe it is doesn't make any sense. The gates do not work, period. They have never been closed since I have moved in. Massive rent increases with no justification - it may seem affordable/reasonable when you move in but after a lease renewal and rent hike along with the fact it doesn't live up to it's claims as a luxury community, you'll be wanting out, and you'll certainly be wondering what you are paying for. Management - the girls working in the office are helpful, management themselves, mainly the assistant property manager send out long winded, pompous emails that have little to no effect, and that sound as if they are coming from the desk of the president - and not one of our better ones. It gets tiresome seeing these emails on almost a daily basis. Getting treated as if you're in kindergarten by management gets old, and being that the 7000th garbage plea has had little to no effect, it's probably time to take a different approach. read more

Pretty place to live worst people I have ever meant that are management cold hearted rude I would never recommend anyone I know to move there cause of the people who work in the office. I have never dealt with a worse crew. I look forward to never seeing them again. The rent is crazy high and they raise it and raise it on you well your ac doesn't work and your garage ceiling is caving in. It's a joke how high the rent is and what they do for you is nothing.
