Everyone in the office is friendly, nice and patient, and really welcoming! I had a bit of an issue with the new Retina camera (I have sensory issues) as it emits a very high pitched noise (think camera flash charging, but the sound never stops and it's really loud) and they were sooo gracious and patient with me. Incredibly understanding! They let me husband in with some earplugs for me, and I was good to go! They had no issues with understanding this and letting him bring them in for me. I'm also a contact lens wearer, and have gotten many fittings here, and just ordered my first boxes of contacts from them last year as well, and it was great! I got my first pair of glasses done by them last year, and omg I'm in LOVE with them. As a previous patient of Costco, you couldn't pay me to go back there, or anywhere else (they've messed up my glasses so bad, they're unwearable, so I wasted a lot of money) With Comfort Vision, you get what you pay for, and that a very high quality care of your eyes and eye health! I was late to my appointment, and instead of being offered to reschedule, I was rushed into my appointment. The staff said they were "doing me a favor" by letting me still be seen, but I've never been treated so harshly at this eye clinic. This was after me apologizing for being late and even agreeing to do the additional (and out of pocket) OptoMap photos to speed up the appointment. If my late arrival was such a burden to the schedule, I would've rather just rescheduled.

I feel as if this clinic kinda nickel and dimes you. Of all the vision clinic's I've been to over the years, this is the only place I can't seem to go to w/o always having to pay for something out of pocket. If it's covered by insurance there's something that they say it isn't and it'll cost you. To top it off, their products are pricey with regards to frames, lenses, contacts, services, etc. My last visit I had at Mill Creek Vision for my annual preventative eye exam, but they got me out of pocket for contact lens fitting (which I thought was covered my insurance, but they claim it isn't), Anyhoo, afterwards I asked for copies of my glasses and contact prescriptions and took them to Costco and purchased all my hardware there (despite jumping through some minor insurance hoops to get my annual hardware allowance back-which I did). Gotta tell ya, definitely more cost effective going that route. 2. But the biggest loss of stars in my rating is due to their front desk staff. A staff that DOES NOT know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE and lacks a certain amount of professionalism. They are very condescending in how they talk and treat their customers. I base this on how they were with me and my family and how I observed them with other customers while I waited. There is one or two who stand out. If you've been there you probably know who I'm talking about. Anyhoo, they will make you feel as if you are interrupting them, putting them out for "Doing their job". They don't always do what is best for the patient/customer so if you don't ask, or question something chances are it'll get overlooked, ignored and you might get over charged or something forgotten. It doesn't help also that they seem to rush you at check in and during check out so they can get back to finger blasting their keyboards or phones. Again based on personal experience. The first three appointments I was able to schedule me and my family for the same day. If there's availability why not? Last time I tried to do it and despite open availability they denied it. Their reason I was told on the phone, they CAN'T schedule more than two family members at a time. WHAT? REALLY? So I ask why not, you've done it before and they tell me that it's policy. I try and continue to ask specifics about this policy and I'm told again, it's their policy and something about cancellation issues. Yeah whatever, I figure they're just being lazy. Policy or not, kinda ridiculous that they can't accommodate two adults and a child on the same day...oh wait a minute they have! but not today. Then there's a test that they do that looks at the back of your eyeball. You'd think it's a test that SHOULD be standard to an eye exam. It is an eye exam after all...it isn't so it'll cost you since it's NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE as part of your PREVENTATIVE CARE. Of course you can pass and instead they dilate your eyes for free I think (or maybe that'll cost you as well, I don't know, but what I do know, I've had that same test in other clinics and it was covered by insurance). Trying to get them to explain results in dirty looks and a mean-girl attitude...an no REAL explanation. So the "face" of the business does not make a good impression and they obviously don't realize that it's just as important as the service provided. This would be my 4th appointment to this vision clinic, but the front desk staff attitude has been pretty much consistent through out. So me and my family will probably be on the look out for another vision clinic. Too bad their front desk staff doesn't have the same customer service skills their optical staff does.

Be very aware that your treatment is based on how much money this office can get from your visit. I saw my insurance statement that they wanted to charge almost 4 times of the insurance allowance. Because they know they would not be able to get the money they want, they treated my eye exam very casually. The tech took two tests that lasted less than 2 minutes. The doc took less than 4 minutes flipping a few charts of 1 better or two better, then wrote my eye exam prescription, which is the exact same as the that of the eye glasses I wore that day. I spent a lot more time signing many documents and waited in front than the total time for the actual eye exam. Do NOT recommend this place to anyone. The practice can be defined as unethical!

Even with a scheduled appointment, we waited over 45 minutes, and the front desk staff was rude and dismissive instead of apologetic. When we finally saw the doctor, the appointment felt rushed and careless. I did not feel confident in the results at all, and I left worried that my child's prescription might not even be correct. When I immediately asked to cancel the glasses order the same day, I was flatly refused with no clear explanation. What made this even worse was the complete lack of communication afterward. I called multiple times the same day and again the next day, but no one answered the phone or returned my calls. As a parent, being ignored when you are concerned about your child's vision is unacceptable. This experience caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. I trusted this clinic with my child's eye care and left feeling unheard, dismissed, and deeply disappointed. I would never return and strongly warn other parents to look elsewhere.

Amazing Service Experience Yesterday, the screw holding one…read moreof my eyeglasses arms on fell out. Obviously, I can't wear the glasses without the screw in the arm. I tried several repair kits, but none of them had the right-sized screw. I thought perhaps there would be an eyeglass store in Woodinville that might be able to help me. Fortunately, I picked The Optik. I sent an email as well as a text to The Optik. Approximately 20 minutes later, I got an email back from an associate named Lilly. Her email was very pleasant and inviting, so I drove over. A sign on the door indicated that they were short of staff and there might be a wait, but I didn't have to. Lilly was sitting right at the desk. She recognized me as I walked in. She took my glasses and said Please sit down and make yourself comfortable. I'll be right back. Who does this nowadays? In about 10 minutes, she was back out and said that she wasn't able to find the exact screw, but she did find a screw that she cut and used to repair glasses. Remember this: I had no appointment. I had not purchased my glasses there, and she didn't know me from Jack. I haven't had better service from anyone in the past few years than I received from her. Thank you to Lilly, and thank you to the owners at The Optik, who hire the right people with the right attitude and training. If you need new glasses or a minor repair, like I did, I highly recommend that you go to The Optik.

Check in was easy and fast and inside is updated and clean. Plenty of parking. You will do usual eye check in stuff like measuring eye pressure and vision check. The only difference I had with this place was they didn't do dilation. At the end of appointment, they told me that retinal imaging isn't covered and i have to pay out of pocket after exam was finished. It would've been nice to let patients know ahead of time to choose either dilation which is covered under insurance vs retinal imaging for convenience but not covered by insurance. Ended up paying for $40 dollars for the scan and checked out in an hour. Overall staffs were friendly, but the experience left bitter taste in my mouth.
