I really like it here. The LensCrafters at the Galleria Mall is a great place to come to. The staff here is very friendly. Sure they might want to push you to buy a branded type of frame but its business so it's obviously they'll do that. Other than that its nice coming here. First of all Britt and Rhonda are Great, customer service is second to none! I was 5 min late arriving due to unforeseen circumstances however Britt made sure I was taken care of with all the registration and insurance particulars, checking my benefits and making certain I was getting all that I was entitled to. Rhonda was thorough with doing all the pretest and great to converse with during. The physician provided a complete break down of my exam and what to expect. I waited 15 minutes to be addressed and when I was the lady behind the counter went and grabbed somebody from the back of the store her name was Nancy she's the lab manager and when Nancy came out to help me she had a chip on her shoulder. I said I hope these glasses work since I couldn't get an executive bifocal and then boom Nancy just wanted to argue with me non-stop. Nancy said I was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about and then proceeded to say can you see out of them I said that's not the point I have a eye defect/disability to where I need a bifocal that goes 100% across so my eye doesn't turn. Nancy kept arguing with me and I finally said I don't know why you're arguing with me but I want my money back. She grabbed everything and threw it behind the counter said she'll be with you and I waited another 15 minutes in the meantime Nancy was back there talking about me to other coworkers and laughing then she came out to help another customer and was talking about me that is unacceptable behavior and that needs to be addressed. I will never do business with lens crafters again after the situation and discomfort Nancy caused. read more

Dude, I didn't want to go to Lens Crafters. I'd only ever gone to eye doctors you had to make appointments for and gotten designer glasses. I didn't want to go replace my Salvatore Ferragamos with some knockoff brand. But, I'd decimated my Ferragamos beyond repair. I couldn't see. I needed glasses, well, in about an hour. That, plus my insurance covered it. I was pleasantly surprised. I was in and out of the exam quickly with my new prescription in hand, and I actually had to take pictures of myself in about 6 different pairs of glasses and message them to my best girlfriend to choose them. I liked SO many! They carried a lot of lines that I liked, and although they didn't have the same Ferragamos, I ended up with a pair I loved. I had to go back to get glasses recently, and I went to Lens Crafters again. Same thing - in and out quickly, and I left the mall with a pair of Dolce & Gabbanas that look like they're from a boutique, but I paid a little less than retail for them. Superawesome. read more

My family and I walked into the LensCrafters inside the galleria mall Henderson ,NV 89014 on Friday 5/27 at around 7 pm we were "welcomed" by a young guy in a lavender shirt I didn't get his name but he instantly seemed annoyed that we even came in. I was looking for sports goggles for my 7 year old daughter she's a competitive cheerleader and she needs them to tumble. She had her performance googles on which were mostly covered in crystals . I asked him" do you have kids glasses" , the associate says "yeah not very many" "nothing fancy like she has "(pointing to my daughter ) I said well I had those done (they came from pearl vision and I had the crystals added. ) I immediately saw some silver goggle that were of interest but before I could get that out of my mouth he says "oh yeah you probably got that done at Joanns ".. Umm excuse you no they were professionally done but whatever I don't expect people to understand however jerk Don't assume anything and his attitude was terrible. Still I disregarded the comment and continued to say she was a competitive cheerleader ...and before I could finish he cuts me off and says "yeah I know" im thinking I'm sorry what ? You know what? That's she's a cheerleader? Oh you know already huh? Why because you want me to shut up and leave? Anyway all I actually responded with was "oh you know?" Okay well we will leave and we did. I had all intentions of buying her a pair of goggle to practice in and leave her crystal ones for her performances only but not now. I'm so disappointed in the whole 3 mins i spent in this location. PLUS they have a $30 one year warranty where they will replace/fix the glasses up to three times in one year. Huge deal since Frame Fixers charges $55 to repair! And they offer a straight 50% off everything for kids 12 and under, then give you the paperwork to submit back to your insurance if you are out of network. read more

I came here once to buy one of my eyeglasses and the service (like about 7 years ago) were very helpful. However, I came back a couple of weeks ago to see if they can get one of my eyeglasses fixed and just wanted to ask a question. And they were completely rude and I didn't even get to finish my question and the person that helped me just said "No, we do not fix that! I was surprised by this encounter and was kind of offended. (maybe because i wasn't buying an eyeglass frame from them). The only Pro i would say is that they do have a great selection of high-end frames! but Im pretty hesitant on going back there again even though they have a frame that I really liked.LOL. read more

I went to this location on a Saturday , the day after Black Friday . It was pretty early in the day - maybe 11:00am . I was welcomed by all the staff , everyone was nice and cheery . I actually wasn't sure how the FSA/HSA card worked and the staff gladly helped me with this . I believe the 2 staff members that helped me were Chris (I believe he is acting store manager at the moment) and Darcy . They welcomed me to browse and left me to try frames on at my leisure . I was provided with a tray to keep the frames I liked along the way . The prices were fine ! I bought 2 pair of designer frames - one Burberry , one Versace . Both pair with lenses came to about $670 . This is right up my alley . I also purchased a year supply of contact lenses for $290, which I have a $100 mail in rebate for , reducing the price to $190 . The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 : this LensCrafters location no longer offers the 1 hour service for your glasses . You have to wait a good week or two for your glasses to come in - which sucks . Also , when I called to check on my order after about 6 days , I was given the impression that I was a bother . I asked the young lady about the status of my glasses (because I obviously need them) and she says "we were backed up on Saturday and I'm sure your order won't be in for 2 weeks" .. Mind you , she didn't even check . It wasn't until I insisted that it shouldn't take that long , she checked my actual order and my glasses had shipped out and are on the way to LensCrafters . Ma'am , I spent $700 on glasses , the last thing I need you to do is GUESS . Otherwise , I'll continue to visit LensCrafters for any vision related services ! read more

I did not see the doctor, I only came here for glasses. I already forgot the optician's name, and she was absolutely wonderful. After my last bad experience with an optician, I decided to try lenscrafters because of their selection (that did not disappoint). They are high tech, take pictures of you with glasses on, place them side-by-side, so you can see what you look like with glasses on. They also have different sorts of packages when it comes to your lenses. But over-all, the customer service, selection and quality were 5 stars. My husband and I had appointments together on a Saturday. There hours are perfect for our busy lives. We each saw a different Dr. and had similar great experiences with them. Their technology is great as we didn't have to have our eyes dilated due to this. The Drs explained everything about the tests and what they were for. The optician that helped us both figure out frames and fittings was great and very knowledgeable about his field. My husband and I both left feeling like we got the best of care for our eyes. We move around a lot due to my husbands career so we in turn have to always change physicians, dentists, eye Drs etc... This is one of the best experiences we have had so far moving here. read more

I am beyond frustrated with this company and it has been a year since my exam. After doing my exam and purchasing my glasses from this location, I decided to go back to my old prescription because this one seemed too harsh (my wife returned hers within a couple days for the same reason and loves her new prescription/glasses from another store). My biggest complaint is that we were scheduled for an annual appointment without asking to be and called to confirm. I cancelled. The day before my now cancelled appointment I received another call to confirm the appointment. I asked to not be called again as I did not want to be a customer of theirs. I was told ok and they apologized. Since then I have received 2 more calls from an (855) number to schedule an appointment. I have now asked them on two separate occasions to add me to their "do not call list". Everyone I speak to is nice and apologetic, but I keep getting calls to book another appointment. read more

Very expensive even with insurance! Learned to just get script then buy lens and get frames from A-z and you will save hundreds .... Just what I learned after years and years of buying glasses ! Use to be great when you could get glasses in a hr ! Not no more it's like the 1960's weeks to get made ! Last thing make sure you have a spare pair if you really need glasses to see ! Or you will wait weeks to get new ones . Again buy online you will save hundreds and quicker ! Lol paid over Aprox ! $1300 2 pair of glasses my own frames ! And paid $285 online with my own frames for a third pair same exact script and frames and lens .... Talk about inflation... thanks for reading... if you need a strong Rx you will pay ? I visited Lenscrafters in mid February, saw the doctor, got glasses and contacts. I was very impressed with everyone there. Especially Nancy who was extremely helpful in choosing the perfect frames. Danielle was amazing, she is one of the Options there and she went above and beyond. I have a seizure disorder and the bright lights during the tests can be extremely difficult for me as they may cause my siezures. I had a few small seizures and she was so helpful. She treated me with so much respect and the care she displayed was really endearing. read more

Every one of the eye exams were explained, pictures of my eyes were thoroughly explained to me by the doctor, who not to mention took his time with me and made me feel like they wanted me there. And glasses to choose from were awesome. Got glasses and sunglasses. Only drawback is they take off the logo of the frames you buy and put their logo. If I'm paying $300 for raybans, I want to see the rayban sign. It was an extra $30 to keep the original sign on there. read more

I had a great experience at this location. Dr. Eusebio was able to figure out the cause of my double vision, which I've had for 30 years. I've seen plenty of other eye doctors but none of them could ever tell me what the cause was, much less give me glasses that would fix the problem. Dr. Eusebio took his time with me during the exam and gave my eyes time to adjust to the different settings, whereas the previous doctors were always in too much of a rush. The staff was also pleasant and professional. My only complaint is that the selection of frames could have been larger, but I was able to find some that worked for me. I am a Medicaid patient so I'm glad to be getting glasses at all. Another thing I really liked about this location is, if you want to upgrade the frames or lenses beyond what the insurance pays, you can just pay the difference rather than the full price as some other places do. Also, the lady who helped me with the frames was very nice and respectful, and I didn't feel like I was treated any less nicely than other customers as a person on Medicaid. I haven't gotten my glasses yet so if there's any problems I will revise this review, but so far my experience has been excellent. read more

This place is an absolute joke they offer you no assistance after they've taken your money. They force you into what they want you to have as far as contacts not what you like and what you know then on your prescription "which I've never seen before" they make it for the specific contact that they want you to use not any other contact they're getting a kickback from the company when I go to Cosco I can go anywhere pick any contact I would like and have no issues getting what I want this place is ridiculous and then when you tell them you want a different brand because I don't like that brand that they force you into no you have to pay again for a new prescription what a joke and no I will not return for a new prescription like they keep trying to force me into they will never see another dime of my money prescriptions are supposed to be good for a year mine is like six months old and I have to get a new one because awls they're out for his money they don't care about nobody do not go here read more

Had a horrible experience with the staff from the optometrists in the back, they should teach their staff how to properly explain to patients what copay or out of pocket expense they have before driving 30 mins to get to the appt, and we called before to verify they took the insurance and the exact reason we were coming for for them to tell us the provider that takes that insurance isn't there and we have to pay out of pocket? Really please let your patients know before hand. I've been in the medical field for more than 6 years and I always make sure my patients have a good understanding of payments or policies before hand. Smh read more

Great eye care equipment. I've been going to Walmart for several years, and I haven't received as thorough care there than I did here. The staff was all very knowledgeable and friendly, and the doctor was kind as well. I made my appointment online, and received multiple reminders, which is great with my crazy schedule. The associate that helped me pick out my glasses must have been new, because she seemed a bit awkward and hovered around me a bit as I was picking frames, but she eventually caught on that I wanted some time, and let me be. BOOOOO! HISSSSSSS! I called this place up and asked how much an eye exam was, guy on the phone quoted me $78 (he worked at the Lenscrafter, not at the Optometrist) - when at my appointment they tell me basic eye exam is $94 - wah?! They said that the doctor and the Lenscrafter store are not affiliated with one another(even though they are in the same store) - I understand how there was a miscommunication, but they needs to coordinate with each other better....this along with being made to wait almost 45 minutes before being seen mades me grumpy and surly, so I threw a tantrum and left for the Vision Center at Walmart where I was treated much much better, eye exam there was $65 (just for glasses, for contacts it's an additional $30) not to mention the frames at Walmart were much less expensive (some less than half the cost) plus I just walked in without an appointment and had to wait less time than I did at Lenscrafters with an appointment! I won't ever go into another Lenscrafters again, I'll stick with Walmart read more

The Doctor at Lens Crafters is great, however, there is one staff member who will push contacts on you like no other even when you nicely decline, because she will "get you the best deal there is" even though they don't price match. When I respectfully decline your offer of contact lenses because I don't have the extra money, your sales pitch should stop. Their contacts are also more expensive than any other office that I called. I will not return to lens crafters for exams OR contact lenses based on this staff member. don't get your eye exam here. The staff is very friendly as they rip you off with fee after excessive fee, on top of any insurance coverage you may have. They may even suggest financing. You should not need to get financing to get an eye exam. read more

Hold on to your wallet if going to this Lenscrafters for a eye exam. They quote a price on the phone for a eyeglass exam but once in the store the threats of a price increase prior to the exam begin. Gah, you ever been to a restaurant, and the chef and his food is amazing, but the servers and the managers in the place are crap? That's the equivalent of this place. I haven't met the doctors who run their practice towards the back of the store, but I'm sure they are fine guys. It's their staff that is dragging them down. I only came to this place because my regular doctor, Dr. McLaughlin, spends a lot of her time practicing here. I guarantee you that you'll have to wait a minimum of 45 minutes for your appointment and the office staff will not come out to apologize or update you. There's only like two examination rooms in the back, and they must way overbook appointments or something, The office manager is really unfriendly, and she actually made mistakes on billing our appointment. I will give it to her that she did call us after I left bad feedback in an email survey, but c'mon, you're supposed to already offer friendly customer service. read more

I have been coming here for 3 years straight. Never had a problem. Now, I am up for my 4th yearly exam and was scheduled for 9/24 but called to rescheduled for 9/10. They had availability at 10:45am and they booked me I took a day off today to do all this and here I am thinking I have an appointment today but nope someone made a mistake and put my appointment to 9/11/19. Loved coming here because of all the eyeglass selection but even if you make an appointment you sit down for hour. read more
