Had a wonderful experience here! I've been pushing off getting new glasses due to bad experience in the past but unfortunately my glasses broke and it was a must to go in. I am so glad this place is near by, everyone there is lovely and do an outstanding job at making you comfortable. The process was very speedy, took maybe 30-40 mins. They also have this new technology where you do not have to get your eyes dilated in order to see more of your retina, the cost is different but it's so much better to be able to walk out and not be even more visually impaired. Though you should ask about it because the subject came up through me explaining I hate dilating my eyes! I was also able to get my glasses within an hour and a half! Of course that time may vary on two accounts, your prescription and if the frame that you want is in stock. If your frame isn't in stock your likely to wait 2 weeks. But again I adore this place! They did such a wonderful job and the team here actually works together and share laughs!! It's wonderful to see, thank you all for such a spectacular and refreshing experience. read more

I went to the Montebello LensCrafters store on November 2,2019 ,because my glasses frame is loosing.I need to go to the store in West Covina to adjust my frame every month since I bought the glasses , so I consider to use my protection plan which I bought when I purchased this glasses. A girl in the store asked me the reason I came and told me to sit down and then she checked my info from her computer. She told me I could only change the same frame and go back to the store to do the exchange since I did not purchase from her store. It is not going to solve my problem if I change the same frame and I knew she was lying,so I asked her for the policy and called the store in West Covina to confirm. The policy indicates exchange can be in retail location and does not mention I could only change the same frame ,and also the doctor in West Covina who answered my phone gave me the same answer. I was very upset. I even asked her if I could speak to the store manager and have her business card . And she said she is the manager in the store and she gave me a business card with no name. She wrote "Natalia" on that business card not sure if that is her true name. I also ask for the copy of the policy and she refused to give it to me. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! If your going to get contacts and you have a special prescription, DO NOT USE this place. They tell you your order will be in 14 working days and it takes them more than a month. They have the worst customer service also. The only reason I went there was because of my Insurance. This is the second time I have been to this place and been shut down as a customer. The first time I went there I just walked in and asked how much it would cost to replace a lens since I had a small scratch. The lady was very rude and quickly told me over 300 like she was trying to scare me away so I wouldn't bother her even though I had this done with my girls glasses for like $60-80 in Anaheim when she scratched hers the day after she got them. Whatever I didn't even mention it just took my business back to the other store I got them from originally later and purchased a complete new pair that were a different color. This time I just went there because my other glasses I got for my girlfriends 9 year old son had the nose piece fall off about 2 weeks after I purchased them. I ordered it from Nancy who saw the little guy and she just wrote a note on a paper and said she would handle it. I waited over a month and went back in and asked again. Another girl helped me and said sorry they are not ready yet and it's just how it is with Oakley they take forever. I asked if I could have the order number or reference number so I could call them myself because it's not fair that his brand new expensive glasses I got him are hurting him every day because they have pegs digging into his skin. She said they were not allowed to give those numbers out and they already ordered them twice. So I just figure they probably never ordered them. Today my girl's kid got hit in the face by accident at school by another student and the glasses actually cut him and put a long scratch on the soft spot next to his eye and he was bleeding. Needless to say I felt terrible and was really upset with lens crafters now. So I called the store and tried to speak with the GM Carrie, but she was not available. So I called up the lens crafters in Anaheim and the guy was surprised and said we normally don't make people wait we just replace the complete frame. So I took the 2 hour round trip back to Anaheim and got them replaced in less than 10 mins no questions asked no paperwork. I have purchased 2 sets of Burberry Glasses and Oakleys and contacts for me 1 set of tiffanys glasses for my girl and 1 set of adult oakleys for her son all with protection plans. I buy all high end items and I don't expect the wal-mart treatment when I am going to lens crafters. This place really could care less about their customers and a child's safety. I would suggest you stay away from this store it's full of lazy people and visit a different location. read more

Super helpful. Went in on a whim to get an emergency pair of glasses and the store manager, Chris, was super helpful and making sure they were able to get me my glasses the day of. Mind you, my prescription is horrible, but I lucked out on them not having to special order my lenses and having them in stock. A good selection of frames as well and everyone working was nice and helpful. read more

I've been a LensCrafters customer for a couple of years now and never have I had a bad customer service experience as we did last night. My boyfriend and I were heading to this location to pick up his glasses around 7:30pm, keep in mind the mall doesn't close until 9pm and it was not busy. We walk in and 2 associates are talking to each other, and 1 is with a customer. We wait there for a couple of minutes, then we are treated and sent to the tables where customers pick up their glasses. The female associate with dark red/burgundy hair comes up to us and ask for my bf's name. Hands him his glasses and walks away letting him know he can try them. He tries them but the associate doesn't stay to make sure his glasses are fine or if he had any questions. After he tries them she comes back and says "good?", "ok here is your case". Before she even tries walking away I ask for a couple of samples of the cleaning wipes as the LensCrafters I go to offers them. She drops the wipes on the table (Rude!). And again before she tries walking away I stop her and ask to her to give us a bag, (you would think they would give you one), she didn't seem happy and gives us one with a straight face. Like c'mon how difficult is it to ask customers question, put the merchandise in a bag and say "have a good night guys and thank you for shopping her". Pretty ridiculous. This would be the last time I ever go there. read more

I never thought i'd hate a place as much as this one. I went in 2 weeks ago to try contacts for the first time, the optometrist was very nice and gave me a pair to try for a week. I went back a week later for a follow up and mentioned that the contacts gave me very blurry vision. I was helped by a diff optometrist and even thought i mentioned i had blurry vision she insisted my vision was fine! After much deliberation she finally changed my prescription to something SHE thought would be better. I tried them on for another week and went back today. Problem is that my right eye vision is great, but my left eye is completely blurry!! I was helped by the same optometrist and she had the nerve to tell me she couldn't do anything for my eyes since they were "fine" by their standards. How the heck is a blurry left eye fine!?!!! Who is she to say what I can and can not see!?!! The worst thing is that I used up my insurance in this garbage dump or else i'd go somewhere else! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will actually be calling in a formal complaint tomorrow (since today is a holiday). I went in on Saturday to get my mom's glasses fixed, nothing major- just a missing screw. They tell us 1 hour which was perfect because right after we were going to the movies right on time. Guess what, we walk the entire mall, eat at Marie Calendars, spend money we didn't have (lol) and an hour later go in to pick up the glasses to be told they weren't ready. Umm...okay, really? Its just a screw. So we say okay, and about another 1/2 hour rolls by, late for the movie so we were pissed. Asked the lady (BLONDE, EXTREMELY ANNOYING VOICE), and was told we WERE NOT PRIORITY! Excuse me? When your taking our money for new frames then we are priority but when we are getting your cheap frames fixed at no cost we are no longer anyone's problem. Guess what, now we have a problem. There is another blonde there named Sarah who is very nice the last time I was there so if you must go there, ask for her. Otherwise, everyone in that establishment are incredibly rude including the Latin girl who found our situation hilarious and the Asian woman who pretended that we were not there. After 2 HOURS we get our glasses (wow 2 hours to place a screw on some frames? really?) I dont blame the lab, they were just doing their job in the order that these heffers place it in. Overall, avoid this place at all costs & go elsewhere. Overpriced people who love taking your money but couldn't care less about you when it comes to simple repairs. read more

I called for an appointment arrived late 10mins late i was informed that i could take the next appointment at 12:40 pm we decided to make the appointment for the following Saturday so we call to cancel the appointment and they didn't even have me listed for the first appointment can you imagine had i gone and there no appointment needles to say we wont reschedule the appointment just poor service. read more

Just went in for new lenses with my prescription and was told I would have to get a whole new exam and frame, when i clearly stated i had a valid prescription and good frame. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with service and lenses. I've been struggling in getting lenses corrected and assistant manager or supervisor is so impatient and can't comprehend customer needs I spend over $350 plus insurance in addition $25 to replace lense and they still can fix my lenses material is too thick. The store assistant or manager starts arguing and just kept stating that she couldn't help me that I would have to pay more money to get more expensive lenses and starts arguing and tells me to get out of her store screaming, really? She doesn't understand customer satisfaction is crucial in any business. I'll take my business elsewhere. I will never go there again. They need to get rid of her and give the job to someone who really needs a job and not argue with customer instead listen to customers needs and try to help not irritate customer. read more

Their glasses give me headaches! I have been in to redo my glasses twice and still these glasses give me headaches. I will NEVER go in this store again. Yes STORE because They try to upsell everything, and there is NO quality in their work. I mean EVERYONE not just the sales and clerks. The Optometrists feel they will tell YOU what you need to wear. Your opinion or the fact that these are YOUR eyes do not matter. Yes Im upset enough to come in here and write a review, thats how bad these glasses are. If you are happy with your current optometrist DONT switch. I did and its was a BIG mistake. I've been wearing glasses for over 15 years and I wanted to try some of their fancier frames. But trust me they will give you the wrong prescription and get upset when you tell them it makes your head hurt. I ended up going back to my optometrist to ask him to give me the prescription because they wouldnt refund but would exchange and they STILL got it wrong. Contacts from my old optometrist are great. glasses from these guys HEADACHES! No excuses, they had three opportunities to correct the lenses and what did they do? I've been a customer at this location for several years I've had several bad experiences with their service regarding contact lenses 4 bad experiences to be exact I've continued to be a loyal customer regardless of their mistakes but this last visit was the straw that broke the camels back ... I went into the store just to reorder a 6 months supply ... everything went smooth with the purchase and I was out the door .. they were even delivered within 7 days ... however I opened the box and the wrong lenses had been ordered the axis on the lenses was incorrect can't tell you how upset I was again with LensCrafters this was the 4th time they made a mistake what an inconvenience... so back I go so they can correct the mistake but instead I asked for my current prescription and went to another optometrists in the montebello mall ... the most disappointing thing about this is that they couldn't even find the sale skill to keep me as a customer no discount for a future purchase or a simple incentive... the one thing they did offer was a bland " I'm sorry".. an optometrist office should be a place you can trust for your eye care needs you shouldn't have to worry that your prescription is gonna be wrong ... LensCrafters would get a NO Star rating if Yelp had the option ... future customers beware of the non professionalism of this location read more

if there is a ( zero ) star rating, thats where my rating would be. i was there 3 time for 3 different prescription, and all was not even close. my original prescription was 300, then i was in for a 550 prescription, second time was a 450 and third time was a 350. everything total was a waste of my time and seem like this place is not willing to help, but after your money. i highly recommend everyone to NOT go to such place and rather drive the distance for something better. waste about 4 weeks getting nothing done properly and a bunch of headach in return. read more

Don't go to this place I feel these people are not honest and if you're not happy with your frames they don't even try to work it out for you. And they don't tell you at the time of your purchase that your glasses only have 30 days to exchange them. Even the Target Optometry gives 90 days for exchange. I bought my frames at this location for the 1st time, didn't know about their service or prices, didn't think of reading any reviews which I should have. This is a terrible place to buy your frames, they sell you frames that are on display and make them into your glasses in 1 hr this is what the sales person told me after I asked him if those frames I picked out were the ones I was paying for. Well I think they are faulty frames because everyone trys them on. I had to echange the RayBans I picked out because they were faulty and then picked out DKNY and those are faulty too. When I told them they said I only had 30 days to exchange and they can't repair them either, now I'm stuck with faulty frames and unhappy. I tried to report them to the Better Business Bureau but the business was not found, I feel that's shady. I'm never buying my glasses there and not sending anyone there either. read more
