This one was in the Upper West Side at 459 Columbus Avenue near 83rd Street. Your order and pick up at the counter. There are only a few tables in this deli. I was able to get one away from the draft coming in the front door. My husband and I both ordered the Lenwich ($9.49 each) - a sandwich of hot pastrami, corned beef, melted Swiss, coleslaw, Russian dressing on rye. I really enjoy this location of Lenwich. Not sure how valid my opinion is but I think there's something truly unique about this business. Off of first impressions the decor is modern, clean and sleek. The owners and staff are extremely friendly in the mornings and actually start to remember your name if you're a regular coffee/breakfast am customer. Everyone from the local schools, businesses and police station and fire dept frequent this business which make it a very comfortable neighborhood business. Secondly I come here because ALL of the food taste fresh and doesn't take like it was cooked on a grill that needs some deep cleaning. The coffee and espresso competes with the likes of Starbucks and may actually be better tasting. The pastries are delicious too, warmed and toasted. This location is centrally location across the street from Flywheel and Crunch gym on 83rd st. I plan on coming here even more often and you should also. read more

For some reason I thought it came with ham or bacon but it didn't. I also had a small coffee to go. Took about 20 mins from the time I arrived (no line) until I left. Came in yesterday to grab a sandwich while I was on my lunch break with a co worker. There is a separate ordering and pickup/paying station so make sure you're on the correct line. The ordering station is all the way in the back and just for telling them what kind of sandwich you want. The paying/pick up station is for paying for your sandwich plus any other thing with your order (chips/drink). I ordered the chicken and cheddar sandwich on a club. I like how they have all the choices of bread you can order near the cashier so it's easier to weigh your options. The ingredients for the salads looked fresh! After paying you wait near the counter for your name to be called and they will hand you a bag with your food. It took around 5/10 minutes to get my food which isn't bad near lunch time. We decided to sit outside since it was a particularly nice day outside. They also have the option to eat indoors though! My sandwich cost about $9.80 (including tax), which honestly isn't too crazy for the city and the portion I think was a good size. I was full but not overly stuffed after finishing it. They made the sandwich grilled hot on a toasty and buttery rye bread. The sandwich tasted great,but I wouldn't call it out of this world.
