Honestly, best deal for money and tires. Place looks like a shit-hole. Owner is rude. He is so rude his nickname is "tire nazi" Just like the soup Nazi on Seinfeld. My husband came here because it was recommended to him. I've been here before but he has they have stuff recommended to him by somebody other than me to go. Anyways the place is a mess and organized tires tire wheels everywhere just looks like a freaking mess. The owner he barely talks to you he will point. You kind of don't know what's going up and what's coming down but he ordered our tires and we showed up here the next day and now they're putting them on. They've got two guys working and they're using regular jacks that you would have in your garage. Now if you can withstand the messiness in the rudeness of the guy knowing this when you come in you're going to get the best for your buck when it comes to your tires. Yes, you do get the most for your dollar here. Yes, it's a small business and generally I love to support small businesses. But in this case, I'll spend a little more elsewhere next time rather than have to deal with all the BS that comes with the owner, Tim. He is extremely unprofessional and rude. I called wanting to know what brand of tires Leo Tire could get for my father-in law's motorhome. The response I got was "I don't know either...click" ??? WTF?? I did call back and gave him a piece of my mind...a lot of good it did...he just chuckled. Been going to them for years for flat repair, or quickly putting on new tires. You will get a good price, and quick service. But be prepared to be treated like crap. I called on a -2 degree day to find out how busy they were.. he called me a f*$@ing idiot and said go some where else. So I just called up to Leo tire because the steel wires are showing on my tire and I'm still driving my kids around on it at the moment trying to find used tires. I live in the middle of nowhere and do not get bad Internet service. When he asked me how many tires I needed I said at least one and chuckled and was going to tell him why but apparently he thought I was laughing at him or something and told me to have a nice day and hung up. I called back and nicely asked him why did he hang up on me I couldn't hear him the phone cut out and he said I asked you how many tires he needed and you didn't say anything and then he hung up again. I called back a third time and I said hey I'm outside I have really bad Internet so I hope this works you said you have four tires for how much? he said I don't have the tires and I'm not selling them to you. when he does have the tires. he's not selling me tires because I have bad Internet service and he misunderstood me. so instead of driving right down the road and getting some new tires right now I'm going to have to find somewhere else further to drive and put me and my kids an even more danger potentially because of this tire nazi. Went an paid for a tire to be repaired and all went according to plan, started driving down the road and the tire blew up due to being over filled, I was expecting the services to go smoothly and accurately but instead, I bought myself 5 hours on the side of the road. Figured since I paid them to patch it, they needed to inspect it too. Never knew I had to inspect it with them prior of being operated before hand. Worst company ever. read more

In line with previous reviews, this guy has very reasonable/fair prices, and won't try to sell you a tire unless you actually need it. 5 stars as this is important to me. Customer service isn't great but if you can get past that, this is your guy/place. Before going to Leo Tire and Wheel I went to a Belle Tire with a screw in my tire and the salesman at the belle tire told me he couldn't patch it (even though it was on the bottom of the tire) but he didn't stop there. He proceeded to tell me that because my truck was a 4X4 that I need to get 4 brand new tires and wouldn't budge when I asked him to just put 2 since the tread on all 4 still had life on them. I also told him that I rarely use the 4X4 in my truck and use 4X2 99.9% of the time (and if I want to ruin my car he should give me the info and let me decide). Needless to say I didn't get any tires from Belle Tire and walked out. When I went to Leo T&W he immediately told me he could fix (patch) it but because he was so busy (it was a Saturday morning at 9am), asked me if I could come back on Monday. I told him I wouldn't be in town next week and he let me leave the car and got the repair done that day before close. $20 for the patch, and he gave me an honest assessment of my tires. Actually a nice guy but you do need to know what you want/need in advance, otherwise I'd go somewhere else if you don't want to do some prep prior. read more

I've been to Leo Tire on several occasions over the past few years, tires are the best price you'll find anywhere, prompt service, and no BS. A few tips for a positive experience: When you call be concise, know what tire you need, don't just say I need tires--no sh*t that's why you called, open your door find the tag with the tire specs you need and do that prior to dialing! Show up when he tells you to. That's usually the next morning at 9. When you get there he'll have you pull the car in on the side and then it really is quick, you can walk across the street to subway but chances are they will be done before you finish your sandwich. Tip the service guys I have always had a good experience at Leo Tire but not because the owner goes to customer service seminars and is supposed to care how you feel--it's not about you, just business, get in, get some good, low cost tires, and get out! I was there just yesterday, I had a screw in one of my tires that I had put on about a year prior there. I had plugged it but it was leaking and I'd already been to another tire shop to get it patched and they said they couldn't and wanted to sell me a new tire. So I called out to Leo Tire ready to buy a new tire, he looked at it when I got there and said those are still good tires, we can patch it. I was thrilled, he could have sold me a new tire and I was prepared for that but instead was honest and fair and patched it for $20 instead of a $100+ tire. read more

My family has done business with Leo Tire & Wheel since the beginning of the business. However, my family recently made the decision that, no matter how low the prices are, we will never do business with Tim Myers again. After all these years, what would make us take our business elsewhere? Tim, aka the Tire Nazi, is pure & simple a curmudgeon. He doesn't care for the appearance of his business, or for his own appearance. But we've looked past that before because 1. He owns a small business, & we choose to deal with small businesses as a rule. 2. My father had him in 6th grade at Leo Elementary. 3. He has the lowest prices around. We've heard rumors of Tim's rudeness to customers before, but had never experienced it first hand. But recently my husband called him to get a quote on a tire for my Jeep. Tim was rude & acted like my husband's inquiry was a burden to him. My husband told him the size & such for the quote, & Tim told him how much it would be for one tire. Then my husband asked if that quote, times 4 would be what he would charge for 4 tires. He asked that question, because some places discount the tires if you buy a full set. The Tire Nazi's reply to my husband is why we will never do business with him again. "If you f*****g can't figure that out, get off my f*****g phone!" & he hung up! My extended family and myself have purchased tires from "The Tire Nazi" or just "Tim" as we call him for many years. He has always treated all of us very well. He is just a rather reserved and quiet person running a retail business. He doesn't have a fancy showroom to sit in so I usually just go to the little diner across the street. They have always had my vehicle ready for me by the time I have had a small breakfast or lunch. If you have never been there then you ARE missing out big time. The guys in the back that install your tires are very efficient and do a nice job of torqueing your tires. You WILL save a pretty big chunk of cash so tip them $4, $5, $8. or whatever. When I moved to the area and asked locals about tire shops I was told about the "tire nazi", instantly I was intrigued by why he would have been given such a name. I guess it was a comparison to "soup nazi" from Seinfeld. Don't call this place not knowing your tire size or exactly what you want. You just very well may get hung up on! If your able to tolerate that sort of thing I've been told his tire prices are very reasonable. I have never bought tires here. I have however gotten tires swapped on or off rims or tires other tires shops wouldn't touch worked on. He saved the day one time, I went to a shop in Fort Wayne and was told 3 hour wait to swap a tire on a rim for a car that had no spare. Stopped by here with no appointment or calling ahead and got done in 15 minutes and only $10 when other place would charge $30. I have also gotten truck tires balance and rotated for $20 and tires wasn't even purchased from him. So if you're able to tolerate a little rudeness and you like shopping local, give him a try. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The absolute worst service I have ever had. I called and said "Hi I'm looking for 4 used tires"...dead silence. So I said "ok the size is 265/70R17". He quickly mumbles a sentence that I couldn't understand. I said politely "Do what?" He laughs at me and says "I said 4 used tires for 200 bucks and you say "do what" (as he's mocking me). I used them years ago and yes, the price was good but service very dry. I called for my mom's tires, gave the size and asked if Mastercraft was the only brand he carried, to which he replied, "What brand are you looking for?" I told him I get Tiger Paws and he quoted the price. At that point, I assumed we were disconnected because the call went dead. I called back and apologized I thought the call dropped and asked him if I could ask 2 more questions. No answer. I asked again, no answer. I said "Sir?" several times to which he replied, "ASK YOUR QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!" I swallowed my immediate clap back and just calmly said, "Sir, I thought the call dropped again when you didn't respond", to which he replied, "Okay, then have a nice day" and hung up the phone! What a douche! I just wanted to compare Good Year with the Tiger Paws, because I have a sports car and my elderly mother a Kia, so I know she knew about Good Year Tires, but not Tiger Paws, and the other question was what day can we bring it in!
