This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! They let you add all the toppings you want and has a super thin crust that is very crisp and tasty. I like the fact that it's not super loaded with calories, which is good. The service was fantastic, and the ambience of the restaurant is like a great little pizza café . This restaurant always has the best pizza in town. The environment is the same at every MOD you go to around the US. The only issue I have with this location is the service. The manpower is not there and they focus more on online orders than the customers standing in front of them. Don't get me wrong, they are really nice employees, I just feel their priorities needs a little balancing and that falls on leadership. I don't think the supervisors here are business savoy. There is another location about 5 miles towards the west and conveniently on the way home from work. We will not come back to this location just because of the service. I always go here and usually the staff is amazing. We came here on June 1st 2025 around 3pm While we were getting our pizza the young lady who was calling names and handing out pizza she seemed very on edge. I understand that it gets busy and it can be overwhelming, but please don't take it on customers who ARE NOT giving you a hard time. I asked for the sauce on my pizza and she put the wrong sauce. I normally don't complain cause I get it but the fact she had an attitude wasn't called for. She showed her frustration to us and everyone else around. First time eating in MOD and it was good. Had the MOD Mad Dog. Staff was super friendly and there was a woman working the day I was in was wearing a bandana, because of her positive interactions with some local law enforcement I will be going back again. I haven't had MOD pizza in about 6 months or more and decided to come to this location due to the high reviews. Seems like many new faces since I last stepped in here but I absolutely love their customer service & cleanliness. We came to dine in right as it started to get busy for dinner and I must say I was impressed with his great this group of workers worked through the rush, greeting ppl walking in they managed to still go around to clean tables & ask customers how everything was etc. Shared a MOD thin slice whole 11" pizza with my toddler and we really enjoyed it. I frequent this lication often and normally don't have any issues with dine in or carry out.. tonight I decided to order a salad through the web site. Basically you pick what you want and whay kind of dressing you get. I go puck it up bring it home and btw I purchased the biggest salad for $16. The container was half full. Words can't describe how disappointing this location is : I placed an order online with Mod Pizza at 7:30 PM. It's now 8:30 PM, and my order hasn't even been prepped, let alone cooked or ready for pickup. There was zero communication -- no updates, no apology, nothing. The lobby isn't even busy, just 1 family dining and I get that it gets busy , but if you're going to take online orders, you need a system that actually works. Garbage Pizza, way overpriced and hardly anything on your pizza. And they usually always overcook it or burn it in their ovens. Don't waste your time or money. If I wanted to eat some bread with sauce I would have just eaten at home by dipping some french bread into some pasta sauce. This place never disappoints! They verbally greet you, also does the specific pizza dough/crust aroma, a yum-o. I adore the no name cakes but wanted to talk about what I think may be over looked? THE SALADS; you can walk along having the very friendly Mod Rep adding as much of all items offered that will fit in your Mini, Mod, or Mega/Family sized bowl. Currently practicing Whole 30 eating its some place I can still go to eat with or bring home to my family, YAY! This last visit I mobile ordered a Mod Create Your Own Salad. Ingredients shown on the slip pictured, I believe? It was so fresh and flavor packed that I did not even use dressing. For 10.98 at this location in Puyallup on 1/06/2023 I feel competitive price. I pay the same for a Cobb at Denny's and grocery store salads can not even compare to this quality though they cost less. Classic build your own pizza place. The pizza is fresh and the ingredients are nice. You're able to put as little or as much on as you'd like. The more you put on, the harder the crust will have to work. The staff is about what you'd expect from a place like this, think subway or chipotle. The restaurant is a little loud and can get very dirty since their staff is all working on pizza making or cashiering and there never seems to be a slow time for them to wipe the tables. This place was terrible. I'm sorry I love living in Puyallup but the quality of cleanliness in some of the restaurants out here is a hard no. This is one of them. This place is wonderful!! It's basically a subway ( have it your way) but instead a pizza place!! I love how they have so many classic pizza and salads and if your feeling adventurous or not have it your way!! I was pleasantly surprised they let us do a half and half pizza. Was not expecting that but it was great!! Also, watching them make the salads were amusing. To top it all off we had a beer to go with our pizza and salad.
