a takeout container of fried food

Average Chinese food worth very large portions. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken as a combo. It came with soup and an egg roll. Beware the egg roll has shrimp in it, which I did not appreciate and couldn't eat it. The soup was very good. The chicken was good, but I wish they didn't put the pineapple on top since it made the pets it was touching soggy. The fried rice was good. Overall I would try it again if I was in the area but would try a different dish.

Got carry out from this restaurant during the pandemic. I ordered the sesame chicken and Almond Boneless chicken combinations. Both were suppose to get the soup of the day with the combos but one came chicken noodle and the other wonton. I've never heard of an Asian restaurant serving chicken noodle soup. The wonton was really good and the chicken noodle was so so. The Sesame chicken breading was really soft and not crispy but had a bbq taste. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again. The Almond Boneless chicken had a really good flavor. I would definitely get it again. This Chinese restaurant has some really good meals (Almond Boneless Chicken) and some others (Sesame Chicken) that are so so. I would try it again but get something different than Sesame Chicken next time.

This is the second time I've ordered from this restaurant and my order has been messed up. I ordered sesame chicken with SHRIMP fried rice. I received some sesame chicken that taste like it's been sitting out all day and CHICKEN fried rice with my meal. On tops of it being the wrong fried rice, it tastes and looks old too.

Was just ok. Tried it to see what the fuss was all about, I've had way better. Staff was slow and/or rude. Prices average as well.

There was one waitress. Only was allowed 1 tea cup because they were out of cups. The beef dish was all veggies no need.

Food arrives fairly quickly so you won't stay too hungry. The wait to get seated is longer though, especially when it gets busy. There's a lot of seating and it's perfect for group settings. The biggest concern is that the floors are very slippery. I wore trail shoes with lots of grip and even found myself having to walk very carefully.

It's interesting they don't disclose that you get charged for the sauce bar (it's like $1.50/per a person). Good thing I got lots of sauces and they did have fresh sliced oranges! The shao lum bao (soup dumplings) had thick skin and flavor was ok so it didn't taste authentic to me and I was disappointed. The soup bases were ok tasting and got oily after cooking meat (we tried the creamy chicken soup base, the pumpkin soup base, and the spicy mild soup base). You order the soup bases and then select each of the items that are charged separately (like meat, vegetables, and dumplings or noodles). That is why it gets to be pricey! Overall, everything tasted ok. Even the sauces were not as tasty (but prob my fault for not mixing them well). It was good to try once but would not return. Unless their prices dropped hahaha

I don't speak on things that I have no personal experience with. Every time I've been here, I would've rated them 5 stars without hesitation. I do carry out, but I've always been treated respectfully by the staff here, so I'm going to assume it's the same for dine in people. I could be wrong, but it's just an assumption based off my own experiences here. My issue this time, and this time only, is that the Dan Dan noodles which are supposed to have pieces of pork in it, was completely missing from my bowl. It had plenty of noodles and bok choy. As well as a huge heap of chili garlic oil, which I love. But no pork, no protein at all. It was a pretty good noodles and spicy soup bowl. But not Dan Dan. Which I don't understand even because I've had this several times and it's been great! Also, the noodles definitely leave something to be desired. They're not bad at all. But they're clearly a store bought, thin ramen noodle. I expect more from a restaurant like this. For example, Noodletopia in Madison Heights, now they know how to make noodles! They do it right in front of you even. They're thick and they have bite to them. That's how noodles should be done. And they've consistently made them the same way. Aside from the less than good noodles though...there should be no excuse to forget the pork in those noodles. That's practically what most people come to have! I'll chalk this visit up to just making a mistake. So I'll go again eventually. But I really hope I'm not wasting my money if another attempt, because I know just how good their noodles can be when the people making it are paying attention. I hope that I wrong and others line their noodles. But this visit,'certainly could've been better in my opinion. Which is meaningless of course...or should be at least.
