I brought my car in to have an estimate. I was hit from behind. It left a few small scratches but more importantly my bumper was bursting out of the seems. After talking with Leo I decided to have the bumper realigned and not repainted. Leo was very professional and honest with the quote. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of extra things I didn't need. He said this small job would only take about a 1/2 day to complete. I dropped my car off a few days later and Leo was not in. I left my car with one of the shop technicians. I filled out some paperwork and was on my way. Around noon I called to check on my vehicle and Leo told me he didnt even know my car was there. The technician dropped the ball but he assured me he'd have it repaired in a few hours at 3pm. I arrived at 2:45 and sure enough my car was ready to go. Now the kicker is he didn't charge me a red cent and took the brunt for the mis-communication. Customer service and quality work are of the utmost importance at this place. The biggest buffoons in the business! We took our 94 Miata here after a t-bone accident cause by a distracted driver and they had the car for around 6 months and when the clowns returned the car they had made these obvious mistakes: Left off the entire wiring harness for the required stop light. Did not bother to rekey the replaced drivers door so we had no key that would unlock it. Just left off the crossovers to the door speakers to an expensive stereo as if it did not matter. The drivers side view mirror is the wrong year so does not fit correctly and one of the 2 screws holding it on broke due to the stress of being forced into the hole in the door, leaving it hanging. The car now drives like a metal trash can with metal roller skates attached and I can only expect that it is due to their lousy attempt to straighten the frame. The missing parts were magically on the "mechanics" work bench and I retrieved the parts from these idiots and have fixed all the issues except for the drivability and will be taking it to an actual body shop to have that addressed. Did these idiots think I would not notice the missing parts? Their "work" feels more like vandalism that I was charged for! read more

Hand's down a great body shop and a great owner. I was a little hesitant to try a small body shop over Sterling McCall for the repair of my Acura TL, but based on the YELP reviews, I thought I would give it a chance. I wasn't disappointed. Leo took me around the shop and showed me some of the work they have done, where they do the work and even introduced me to some of the guys that will be working on my car. Super nice owner and the work was top notch. I couldn't even tell I had an accident. He even fixed a couple of small dings for no cost. Exceptional Service! Fair Bid! Our black Navigator has some body rust as it was a Yankee car! Like everyone else, I was looking for a good body shop and gave this one a chance. Went in there for a quote, few days later I decided to drop off my car. I was estimated for my rear bumper to get fixed and repainted along with the hood, side mirrors, front bumper and a full body kit that I wanted to get installed. This repair should at least take 2 weeks the most. First off, Leo's employees didn't seem professional and nagged about things I pointed out that I didn't like, second THEY FORGOT TO REPAINT THE HOOD ON THE DAY I WAS THERE TO PICK IT UP!!!! And also THEY FORGOT TO INSTALL THE DECALS ON THE REAR BUMPER!! I had to leave it for them to continue on the repair. These guys TOOK MORE THAN A MONTH TO GET MY CAR READY!!! On top of that they didn't do a good job on the paint. The rear bumper has a paint chip already and I noticed overspray on the side mirror. Oh but wait, when I finally got the car back I noticed one of my tires where flat out of air, they didn't even take the courtesy to refill for my safety. What if I wouldn't have noticed!!! Good thing I had a electric air pump on my trunk.... What a bad experience!!!! I wouldn't recommend this Bodyshop to anyone. read more

it took FOUR attempts to get my car. FOUR! Someone side swiped me on the passenger side and I decided to give Leo's a try since the estimate was fairly reasonable for the amount of damage it caused. Repairs needed to be done on the passenger side..from front to end. Attempt #1: Dropped it off the beginning of the week..so by Thursday mid-morning, we were at the shop and after looking at the fix...we noticed a few dark dots that appears on the car that i knew wasn't here before. Leo was happy to get that removed so it took another several days after the initial drop off. Mind you, we live about 40 mins away from Leo's and we did not have a spare car while mine was in the shop. Attempt #2: the dark dots were no longer on the car..thought it looked perfect until i grazed my hand through the damaged area. It's felt like dry paint splatters across the passenger side door. May have not looked like a problem but the feeling of that shouldn't be there...my car was only 5 months old, a brand new purchase! Leo immediately confronted the painter there and the painter clearly knew he got caught and probably knew what he did in hopes that we didn't catch it. We were told to take the car home for a few days so the painter can "clear his mind"...omm..ok. AGAIN, 40 mins home and then 40 mins back to drop the car off. Attempt #3: Dropped off the car again for them to correct the paint splatter issue. I repeatedly told Leo that I've have gone back total FOUR times! And i refused to have another issue. He reassured that it will be fixed correctly. Again, several weeks have gone by since my first initial attempt. When he informed me that the car was ready, I told him that I couldn't make another drive to his shop so he delivered the car to my house. Also, Leo deducted $100 bucks for the issue...which almost covered all the tolls I took to get there At the end of the day, the job was completed but not in the condition and expectation that I wanted..AND it did not need to take four attempts to do so. I was not happy with their services and I guess you get what you pay for. I will not be returning nor recommending anyone to this place. It's poor management and communication. Not sure why all of the other services I read on here had 5 stars but when it came to my situation, it was very far from it. Maybe I picked an off day/week...after reading all of the good reviews I thought I didn't have to worry about anything. Clearly, I was wrong. read more

Wow, these guy's have really made my day. I just ripped off my front bumper pulling out of a parking spot when the corner got stuck on a decorative boulder (damn you boulder!) Friday now ruined, I resigned to spend my afternoon getting my bumper fixed so as to avoid having to hitch a ride to work on Monday. Having checked on Yelp I found this place and decided to trust the reviews. GLAD I DID. This place is awesome. (BTW the sign now calls this place Leo's body shop, not sure if it has changed hands, but either way, it still rocks). I pulled up, walked in, explained my dilema, IMMEDIATELY they came out front, looked at the bumper and front of my car, and told me they might be able to salvage my bumper. 10 mins later my bumper was back on my car, and ready to go. The cost? NOTHING, DIDN'T CHARGE ME A CENT, NO GOUGING, NO OVERCHARGING, THIS IS NOT YOUR EVERYDAY AUTO SHOP!!!!!!! I can't believe it, but chivalry is still alive and well in this day and age. after seeing soo many reviews i went in for a quote for an EASY paint job, got a quote of 4300 to paint the front bumper, paint the front fender and respray the sun spots. That is rather ridiculous. Leo wanted to charge extra for taking the bumper off, he also did NOT want to do a simple rear bumper repair, wanted me to buy a whole new bumper and then charge 400 extra to repaint it plus install. he also said he is not guaranteeing that the paint will match... even tho its oem color. ridiculous. after looking at the photos provided i see how he scams soo many people with certifit parts. the pictures posted are EXTREMELY easy pop it back in fixes. STAY AWAY from this place. if you have an easy bump and go fix then go to leo to donate money. otherwise seek a REAL body shop. read more

First, let me just say that In have never wrote a review before for any company, but Leo's Body Shop is worth the time. I brought my Mustang in to do some body work because someone backed into my car. The quote to fix at a dealership was over $4000. I stopped by Leo's to get another estimate and they quoted me $1,100! I decided to also get a whole new grill, front bumper, rocker moldings, side scoops and also all new lights to make my car look better. Not only did they make it look great, but the total came to $1,300 (I did buy all the parts)!! I would drive way out of my way to go back to Leo's... Within 15 minutes he let me know what I needed and was on the phone with parts store ordering the new part. All I'm going to say is that the delivery of the part took longer than it took to put the part on. LOL Go to this shop for all your auto mechanic, paint and body needs. Leo was really nice and gave me a fair price. His prices were the same as other shops but he estimated 1/2 of the working hours compared to the other body shops I've been at. I even asked if I pay with cash will I get a discount? And he did give me a discount. My car had a big scratch above the wheel, little bit in the door and a dent in the front bumper. Everything fixed for $600 cash. The body shop on Washington and Taylor estimated the price at $1200 (like I said they put double the hours. NO THANKS). Like others have mentioned, I don't know how they do it. Not only are they incredibly nice (Leo is awesome) but they offered to do it for the lowest price, at least a third under all the other quotes. They were really easy to work with and the process simple. Dropped my car off, they confirmed again how long they think it would take, and then called me late afternoon the expected completion date, and voila - got car back.
