Dropping two stars from my previous rating. Technically, I should probably drop it one, but I'm dropping it one more for the level of frustration I feel and for pain & suffering. This place is more inconsistent than a fast food drive thru. This place is more inconsistent than the 2013 Detroit Tigers. This place is more inconsistent than Michigan weather. Boom. Burn. Don't give me a side of cottage cheese on a giant plate in a giant heap every time...and then switch it up and put it on some tiny, dinky plate and still charge me the same price. Get some sort of quality control up in this piece. Consistency is the key to success in any business...unless you're consistently crappy. I order the same crap every time I'm in here. It comes out different every time. Different portions, different preparations, different presentations... when it's good, it's good...and I know it can be good...which is why it's so effing disappointing when you feel like they're skimping. read more

I got there at 11:15 on a Saturday morning. I had my mind set on a good breakfast, but the breakfast specials ended at 11:00. My waitress came promptly with coffee and water. She had served me before, but it has been over a month since I was there. Wow! (I'm a coffee lover. Leo's has meh coffee, but they keep it coming and it's hot and fresh) I asked if I could have the one of the breakfast specials and she said "For you? No problem!" (I know, I know. But this is called service, and you don't get it in many restaurants) The eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and toast arrived quickly and were delicious. I destroyed my breakfast meat diet and had a wonderful breakfast. This was one of those meals that was just perfect. This is a busy and friendly restaurant. I don't hesitate to complain when food and service is bad, so I over tipped to make up for the teenagers and told the cashier the food was great, as usual. The owner overheard since he was cooking in the kitchen right next to the cashier. My usual breakfast is oatmeal, so this was a treat. I know I'll be back. read more

Always hot fresh food, and very fast for delivery! Probably the BEST CONEY ISLAND around highly recommend!!!

This place is a great family restaurant, they have something on the menu for everyone and their menu it is huge, and full of combinations. The Chicken Kabobs never disappoint, the rice is always good but make sure you specify as it comes topped with manaria sauce. I have had it both ways as both are good. The Lemon chicken rice soup is a great warm up for winter. This coney island is pretty much standard but the service is excellent and the atmosphere is always friendly. One cool way this coney island differentiates itself is, on every Friday afternoon they have a kid centered character in costume IE: spider-man, iron-man, Donald duck, etc. This place will be frequented by many as it has something for everyone on their menu. read more

We have enjoyed the meals we have ordered: chic gyros, salads and soup. Good portion sizes etc.... CON: I don't appreciate the constant invitations and free passes offered by the personal trainers from the gym next door...but that is not the fault of Leo's. read more

I usually love Leo's Coney Island. I get carry out (the same chicken Caesar salad) all the time from Leo's where I used to live to take to work. This location Leo's I have been to this one time and this one time only. I waited at the cash register for a minute until the worker acknowledged me. I received my food and when I got into my car I opened my take out box and the chicken on my salad was pea sized shavings of chicken. When I actually went to eat my salad there was a black hair on one of the pieces of chicken and the chicken was so hard it probably could have broken my teeth. The best comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Both carry out and dine in. Had a chicken wrap sandwich a Spoons. All I could think about was how much better Leo's was across the street. I'd like to yelp Spoons but the owner Pit-bulls everyone who leaves a review. Love the remodel. The servers and managers are friendly. Just a good, all around family restaurant. read more

I am giving 4 stars mainly because the burgers were good and the manager sought our feedback. The service by the waitress Brittany C. was really bad, she seemed annoyed and unhappy which affected our overall experience. One of us accidentally spilled a cup of water on the table, instead of reassuring and helping, the waitress was snappy about it while the manager came and cleaned the table himself, we overheard her complaining about it. The manager noticed we were not happy with the service and was very kind, he gave us 15% discount on the total bill. I would go again to this place but I hope the waitress would change her attitude or I would want to be served by somebody else. There is not tables big enough to accommodate more than 6 people together but the food and atmosphere were good overall. read more

Ordered delivery from here, I believe for the second time. I ordered a chef's salad (medium size, thinking the small would be too small - ha, ha), a bowl of chicken lemon rice soup, a coney chili/fries combo that came with a baby Greek salad, and 2 pieces of chocolate cream pie. It was so much more and better than I expected! The salad was huge, covered in ham, turkey, cheese with hard boiled eggs in a nice salad mix, with cucumbers and tomatoes. I believe the Thousand Island dressing was home-made - came in little cups with chunks of relish. Also came with toasted pita bread. I also had the chicken lemon rice soup, which was equally amazing! My son's coney combo was perfect, and the pie was excellent - tasted like bakery or home-made. Great meal for a good price! read more

Good food for a Coney Island , not much else that I can say. I really enjoy a grilled chicken salad that I tried once. Breakfast food is good, kinda hard to mess that up. They are always busy. Kinda hidden location. read more

As far as Coney Islands go, this place is decent. I like the lemon chicken rice soup. The prices are really cheap.

We go to Leo's in Canton for their lemon rice soup, saganaki, and deliciously fresh char grilled chicken kabobs. Everything is always fresh and flavorful. We were excited to find a place who does saganaki correctly with the correct cheese and cooking method. Always delicious! The lemon rice soup is the best in the area. The grilled chicken kabobs are my favorite. I love that they are juicy and charred (in a good way) and are obviously cooked fresh (unlike some Leo's). The tzatziki is always well seasoned and not runny. I usually get a bowl to go! The owner is present most of the time we are eating there which is probably why everything is done with care! We have been here twice. The first time, I was not impressed. I recall getting a cheeseburger and it being very bland. This time my wife ordered breakfast with eggs and asked for cheese on the eggs. No joke, it comes out with a cold slice of cheese on the eggs. Now I'm a sarcastic one, so a part of me was thinking, well that IS what you asked for. I ordered the club (per the menu), which said it was turkey... long story short, they gave me chicken. I asked for a side of ranch, didn't get that either... and never asked again. Went 2 days in a row for breakfast told the manager about the condition in the bathroom came back the next day and nothing has been done. Their bathrooms are extremely dirty and ignored by the staff and management. I can only imagine how the kitchen is maintained on cleanliness. read more

Decent food and good service. The Greek salad dressing is amazing. Everything else is pretty darned good. Breakfast, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, lemon rice soup - all solid. This Leo's Coney is in a busy strip mall. Our last visit was about 6pm on a Friday and the place was almost full, but the service was efficient and we were in and out in half an hour. We get carry out Greek salad from time to time and it is easily the best item on the menu. read more

Poor service and no concern about wrong food sent out. My wife and I went here this morning, she was hungry and this was my lunch time. She wanted to go to Leo's, I wanted to go to the one near our house in Livonia but she insisted on going to the one in Canton seeing we were about to pass it. We like Leo's, we go to different ones to experience them and have no issues overall, little things maybe but not show stoppers like today. She went in ahead of me, ordered ice tea for me and water for her. I came in and sat down with just a couple straws on the table and it took about 4 minutes to get the drinks - not an issue. The waitress seemed to be pre-occupied for some reason. She left after not getting our order right away when she brought the drinks so after three more minutes, she took the order - I got a 'jersey' burger and fries to have something different. My wife had the feta skillet. My wife's order came out in about 7 minutes but mine for held up for a while, it was 10 minutes more I had to wait for my burger which wasn't too bad, but then the problem was it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't notice it until after she dropped off the ranch dressing she forgot for my fries, that the burger was their "Philly" burger not a "jersey" burger - the difference was the additional cheese and two slices of bacon added to the "jersey" burger. I'm patient, can't see where she is at and my wife said she can't signal her to come back so I expected her to come back and check on us but didn't. After 10 minutes of waiting, I said screw it I have to eat, at that point I could not afford to wait for another 15 minutes for them to fix this. Now what really irked me at that time is there was a gentleman sitting across from us and a couple behind my wife, all ordered AFTER us but got their food long before we did. This has happened there before, I don't know if the waitress that we get waited to put in the order or the kitchen sits on it. She served the gentleman across from us too. Either way, it has happened at this location before. After a while, she was a no show. So while I was finishing up my burger, the waitress flies back through, throws our check onto the table where the gentleman was sitting stops to think, then grabs it when she realized it was for us and slaps it on the table. She flew out of there without saying anything. A little later she came back with the cart to bus the tables, ignored the empty plates and cups on the table, my wife spoke up about the mistake as I am chewing the last of it, she started to say that was what I ordered but then caught herself when the check said "jersey" burger and not "Philly" burger. All we got from her was "oh I'm sorry I will tell them" which to me is a response to blow me off. I was wondering who is she going to tell and why does that matter - I wanted her to explain it to me, not guess who was she going to talk to. My wife asked of a box (it wasn't offered) to take home the remaining amount of food she order. During the remaining amount of time, we waited (and waited) for her to return and when she did, she just left the box and moved on. I was too pissed off about it at that point so I was going to bring it up to the guy who was at the register and was going to ask him to take something off the bill for the mess up and rude behavior but he was on the phone, ignored me when I tried to say something so I just paid it and left. I didn't mind not doing the follow up but I do mind that she didn't do a thing to show we were worth while as a customer, if she came back and said "we'll take the ice tea off" or something like that, I would have been satisfied but saying you are going to bring it to someone's attention and then don't do any follow up, that's rude. read more

Grilled Chicken Salad Lovers Beware!!! I visited this place two weeks ago. I ordered a gourmet salad from the menu. This salad is supposed to have a specific taste to it because it has mandarin oranges, dried fruit, spinach, and feta. It also has raspberry vinaigrette dressing. I decided to add grilled chicken. BIG BIG Mistake. When they brought the salad it had gyro chicken seasoning on the chicken. When I brought it up to the waitress, she said that I should have asked for it to not come with the seasoning on it (mind you, it was my first time at this restaurant, so I wouldn't have known to ask about something so specific). I kindly asked to have the chicken taken off of my order, because it wasn't what I was expecting, to which they obliged. But I also asked for a small box for it separately (as I just did not want it in my salad and I figured they would just throw it away anyway). As a result of this, the waitress made me feel like a jerk. I had a very unpleasant experience and they will not be receiving my business again. read more

Southeastern Michigan is a coney island wonderland and Leo's is among the best. The food is plentiful, inexpensive and consistently good. The service is pleasant and fast. We have not had a better breakfast in Canton. read more

Stopped going to this Leo's because every time we went in our waitresses were terrible. Very poor service, all snobs and have attitudes about everything. Don't even ask them a question about something on the menu or ask to have something substituted, they will answer you in a sarcastic tone and roll their eyes. read more

If you're going to Coney you're going for some good, quick, and cheap eats. This one in particular is a good staple for Canton for just that. There are many Coney's to choose from around Southeastern Michigan but you can't go wrong with just about any of the Leo's! read more

GENEROUS food portions. This is right behind where we live so we walk over here and can always share a meal. So normally we can leave here spending $10 or less for the two of us. The service is always fast and they stay on top of making sure that your drinks are always full which is a huge thing for me. read more

the food here comes out SUPER quick, which is awesome. and it's pretty good food, and i like that you can seat yourself. HOWEVER, the service is awful. and i mean AWFUL. our server never once checked on us, we had to flag her down multiple times whenever we needed her for something (the only things we flagged her down for was to order dessert and for our bill). other than that she didn't check to see how everything was and if we needed anything. it was extremely rude to be ignored. and this happens pretty much every time i come here. always bad service. read more
