Going to a Coney Island is so nostalgic for me since I moved from Michigan so I always try to swing into one when I come back into town to visit. Leo's has such a huge menu to choose from and the prices are always affordable. From sandwiches, to breakfast all day, to burgers, and Greek food there's something for everyone to enjoy. Portions are generally huge and the food is delicious! Staff was friendly and didn't rush my friend and I through ordering which was nice. I opted for a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and toast. I love hash browns from a Coney Island cause they're perfectly crispy. I do love their club sandwiches and would definitely recommend them. They're my second go to item on the menu with some French fries! Leo's has such a chill, laid back family vibe. Leo's coney islands were where my family would go for Sunday breakfasts and late night dinners for the evenings we ate out. They have plenty of locations all over which I absolutely love! Their affordability, menu selections, and diner experience is just so humbling and nostalgic I miss it writing this review! Leo's Coney Island is always busy and you never really need to wait for a seat. The staff is generally friendly. If you agree to get their texts you can get 10% off your bill. The menu has a lot on it so you never have a difficult time finding something you want. Most of the time it's cooked well and presented well I just hate when I order a medium salad and they put a small amount of topping on it (yes just order the small unless you just want more lettuce). Hello new Leo's Coney joint. We finally meet and you're dining area is quite impressive. Everything brand new and the decor is rather nice. Then again, it's always nice walking in to a brand new restaurant. The food here was ok, it must've been because I wasn't really that hungry. I don't know why it was a bit hard for me to finish my second coney. The cheese fries were ok as well. Maybe next time I should do a chicken fingers pita. On the other hand, I still had a great experience. Lunch with a friend, great conversations and very good service does make up for a lot. My soda was kept filled every time it empties, and she kept coming by to check if everything we needed anything else. Thank you Leo's for your great staff. They're totally awesome. read more

So when looking for a breakfast spot downriver on a commercial stretch of Eureka, I jumped for the familiar name "Leo's" which beaconed me in familiar red and blue neon. One thing I always look for in a breakfast spot is whether they serve real rye bread...you know...the hearty rye...very little air...the kind that doesn't get soggy when buttered...the kind you would get in "New Yawk" less the caraway seeds. I'm from Saginaw, MI and I remember loose meat burgers from Doyle's in Saginaw so when I ordered a loose meat sandwich from Leo's I thought it was going to be the same, on a hamburger bun with the fixings but it was on a hot dog bun and it was just a Coney with loose meat instead of a wiener. Last week my husband and I stopped in for dinner and OMG I will never ever come back to this place.. first of all there were maybe three customers including my husband and myself.. Very disappointed. When we walked in, the sign was up to seat yourself... we walked around, a few tables were marked not to sit at, but not all areas. Several tables were empty but not cleared off. We waited 5 minutes for someone to come over, she took our drink order and gave us menus. A different waitress brought our drinks, no spoon for the coffee and only flavored cream packets. She didn't come back for 10 minutes, by that time the coffee was cold she did bring regular cream packets and a new coffee after we asked her. I'm disappointed in this place. I used to love coming here and I preferred this location more than the other Taylor one. But today was one of the worst visits to date. First, on a positive note, our server got our drinks fast. That's about it. We only saw her 2x after that: once to bring our food, once to give us our bill but only AFTER the fact that I had to ask another server to have ours bring it. And once I asked for a box, she must've said something to everyone in the back about us cause THEY ALL LOOKED OVER AT US a few seconds after she walked back there. Talk about uncomfortable. Our breakfast food seemed like it was sitting around for a while cause it wasn't hot, it was warm/lukewarm but we were so hungry we didnt want to wait any longer. Came during brunch time, and the place was packed, so I was surprised at how fast we got our food. We ordered breakfast foods, and I've never had sunny side up eggs that weren't browned at the edges, and the bacon and hash browns were top quality. Our server was super nice, understanding, and helpful. She checked up on us the right amount of times and definitely knew what she was doing. The restaurant was also very clean. This is a newer Leo's too, so its beautiful interior added to the great dining experience. read more
