We have lost count as to how many times we have dined at Le Florimond. Lori and I bring our family to Le Florimond when we are in Paris. This restaurant features home style french food. It's like eating at your French Grandma's house. Our favorites included Grandma's stuffed cabbage and the mille-feuille. Rather than try to choose a wine let Laurent do it for you. Laurent is the manager of the dining room and our friend. I have reservations about revealing Le Florimond to the masses, I don't want it to get so crowded by tourists that it looses its charm. Send our regards to Laurent and enjoy an authentic French dinner. We are once again on the way soon.

What a great way to end our trip to Paris! This was such an amazing find. It is a small little place with great customer service and amazing food. We were welcomed by the manager. We had to fly out early the next morning so had dinner at 7 pm (early for Paris). We walked in without reservations and of course, the restaurant was empty, He did have a table for us, but as we walked in we noticed all but 2 tables were reserved. We started with sweetbreads, we are adventurous eaters and wanted to try them. They were amazing! Great flavor, crunchy on the outside and moist inside. I highly recommend it. My wife ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes, they have been slow-cooked for 8 hours and were very good. Not American-style ribs and it was to try something different. The best meal was mine though, I ordered the stuffed cabbage! It was full of flavor, and the gravy was amazing. I highly recommend this dish! This same man greeted everyone warmly and knew most of the customers. He made the experience outstanding. This is the place to go when you are in Paris. We will be back.

When you arrive at Le Florimond you will be greeted by the most pleasant staff I've ever experienced in Paris. This is just the beginning of an unparalleled dining experience. My spouse and I ordered duck pate and a puff pastry with smoked eggplant and roasted tomatoes. Both were excellent. For our main course we both ordered the duck confit. This is the star of the show. I have been to Paris many times and always order duck. From my experience this is the best I've had. I cant recommend this restaurant enough.

Oh Pleez!!! A Michelin star restaurant right around the corner from our little bitty hotel. Who knew that a plate of perfect Foie Gras/Chutney and a perfectly poached egg on a bed of fresh mushrooms with a cream sauce would be "THE MEAL" in Paris! What a find! We passed by and saw the Michelin star in the window and prayed that they could fit us in and they had a cancellation and we scored a table for two (hand of God). Very non pretentious hosts and just honest amazing good cooking. We were delighted and highly recommended.

INCREDIBLE!! Absolutely can't miss. They are so kind and the food was outrageously good. I had the foie gras with their gf bread and the duck confit. One of the top ten meals of my life. Cannot recommend highly enough! Menu is marked for gluten and dairy. Felt very safe for my gluten allergy.

Have eaten here a few times while traveling to Paris - this place is top notch! The owner is amazing, kind and attentive! The food is absolutely delicious - we had the hake, beef, and soufflé- amazing! Highly recommend stopping in and making a reservation as the restaurant is very small - we made a Friday night reservation on Wednesday and had no problem- this is a must do if you are a foodie - can't wait to travel back!

Our first night in Paris was made even more special with a dinner at Le Florimond. Upon entering the restaurant, Laurent and Hugo made us feel welcome and valued. They also made a point to learn our son's names and address them at the table (recognizing children and making them comfortable does not go unnoticed for me). The meals were exceptional (duck confit, wild boar, crispy mackerel), deserving of their Michelin star. The atmosphere was relaxed while also sophisticated. I cannot wait to return to Paris for another meal at Le Florimond!

Oh how I love French dining. It's an experience to be savored. The leisureliness of it. As a woman, it's a pleasure to be addressed by the maître d', removing & hanging my coat, and pulling out my chair. And that I, not my male companion, chooses the wine and then I am to taste and decide. Who wouldn't love that?! The sophistication is equally partnered by the warmth of atmospher and the professional yet congenial service. The other diners appeared to be both French and American w a smattering of other nationalities. The atmospher was lively. We made reservations a few weeks prior to our arrival. The wine list is ample. Sancerre was the theme of my trip to Paris. The soup was compliments of the chef and it was velvety and warming. The fish of the day with the braised leeks was tender & the seasonings applied w a light hand so that the ingredients shone through. The famous stuffed cabbage is everything it claims to be abundant in richness and flavor. The desserts of crem brûlée and the beautiful poached pear were just right in their delicate flavor with just enough sweetness to satisfy. As we strolled through the misty streets back to the hotel we agreed that Le Florimond was the perfect meal for our first night in Paris.

Le Soufflé doesn't only have soufflés, but it was definitely what we were eyeing to order. They have savory and sweet soufflés, so we made sure to get at least one of each. The cheese soufflé and French onion soup combo was a great appetizer to our meal. It also came with a couple bites of salad. I didn't have French onion soup until this meal, so I was really looking forward to it and it did not disappoint! The beef bourguignon soufflé was absolutely delicious as well and packed with flavor. The soufflé Grand Marnier was a perfect end to our meal, the liqueur added a nice alcoholic taste to the soufflé and is a great addition if you're looking for just a bit of alcohol in your system. The soufflés are the perfect size for sharing, so I would recommend doing that and trying a variety of dishes. Le Soufflé was a unique French dining and I would absolutely recommend them!

We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged.
