The man said he was just finishing up a smog and could squeeze me in after. So I only ended up waiting around a few min before he saw my car, and the smog check was fast. He didn't give me a hard time about my car being dirty or having sat unused for a while. He asked about the battery - if it had been dead that morning, the tests wouldn't be accurate. But mine was okay. Smog took maybe 15 min. The throw bird seed out on the driveway and it was pleasing to watch the flock of blackbirds coming and going while I waited. Car passed no problems.

I thought A/C system was on its last legs, but it works great now. He even treated my tires, and cleaned the entire engine compartment. No other place has ever done that. Took it in as the engine was severely underperforming; didn't know whether or not it needed rings, an engine rebuild or a complete new engine. They not only diagnosed the engine and issues but do the complete inspection on the vehicle. After the repairs, it's running better than ever.
