The last work they did on our car was shoddy. They don't stand by their work and just make excuses rather than take accountability. Instead of taking our vehicle back, we took it down to Ventura. We ended up with a great mechanic, and we will now move all our vehicles down there for work. The problem we took our car to this place for wasn't actually fixed, which is why we ended up with issues not long after.

The second guy at the smog check referred me here cause he didn't know what the problem was. Eugene checked my vehicle and asked insightful questions about my car. It turns out after having my battery replaced which 'restarted' my vehicle's system and Eugene helped reset it for me and gave me routes to drive so my car could get up to par with the mileage for the smog check. After checking it twice (cause we didn't drive enough the first time), he helped pass me for my smog check! He didn't charge me before hand and was super informative about what the problem my car had. 10/10 for Eugene's excellent service

Saturday at 12:30 my Truck (1970 GMC) the steering got super tight and I lost power steering…read more I sit on a lifted truck with large tires. It became almost impossible to turn the wheel. I called several places in Ventura. However they were all closing at 1pm. No time to get it fixed that day. I decided to drive to California Auto Plus. I got there at 12:50. Ten minutes before closing. Owner, Carlos took a look and noticed my "One Belt" had come off. I have a crate engine in there. Which means, my radiator fan, starter, alternator and power steering all run off of the One Belt! He got the belt delivered, noticed one of the pooly's was off point. Took it apart and added a washer to fix it. Which was the cause of the belt coming off., Got the new belt in there and I was in my way home by 1:45. He didn't have to do any of these things. His reviews are real. Carlos was a life saver. He's the real deal. A nice guy that cares about his clients. I have several classics, he's definitely my new mechanic. Honest and knowledgeable and more so caring! Thank you Carlos!
