This is honestly heartbreaking to write because I've been coming here since before college. I've always been loyal and understanding because I know mistakes happen. I got a dip manicure on my natural nails on July 22. Just 9 days later, all 10 nails were lifting and cracking. I went back on August 1, and the owner fixed them for free, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, less than 4 days later, they're lifting and cracking again (see photos). This isn't a one-time issue for me. Over the years I've dealt with lifting, cracking, rushed work, and even left with my skin cut badly enough to bleed from filing. I kept giving them chances because I genuinely like the staff, but I can't keep paying full price, tipping 20-30%, and then spending more time coming back for repairs. After years of loyalty, I'm finally done. If you're looking for nails that actually last, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I hope they improve their training because they're going to keep losing longtime customers if this continues. I was charged $45 for a red fill-in and left a $20 cash tip. I found this Gem tucked in a Des Plaines Strip Mall, I've become a very loyal customer. David (the Owner) is such a nice man-funny character too. I see Sean every 3-4 weeks for my No-Chip Manicure and Pedicure, he is a perfectionist!!! I have never had any issues with my nails. One thing I do not like is that some Techs speak to each other in their native language loudly and they all can speak & understand English. Disclaimer: I didn't get any nail treatments here. Here's a fun story: my spouse and I were going there for a pedicure (and my spouse was the one getting it). The receptionist asked us which one of us was getting it done. Wow, I really appreciate that they didn't just assume that AJ was getting it, since women or those presenting as women might be the ones who are more likely to have nail work done (but not exclusively). I was actually shocked pleasantly and I'm being completely serious here, rather than my often jokey-but-inherently-useful self. It's a very large space with two salons or spaces, as it were, with a clean and modern appearance. (The overflow salon or space is the one that I took a photo of while waiting and it wasn't in use, at least not on that day.) People had a helpful attitude in general. AJ was happy with their shiny pedicure and the receptionist wrote down the name of the nail technician on a business card for future reference and appointments. I would get my nails done here, though I don't know what could be done with the fungus claws on my paws, er, dessicated feet. read more

I have been here several times already the first experience was great with Kelly! She is amazing. She does great on natural nails and no chip. Mai did my nails before because Kelly wasn't available. She was terrible. She did a rush job and no chip started peeling next day. It was my birthday weekend so I couldn't get it fixed because I was traveling to Mexico. I still came several times after that and the experience hasn't been the same the male owner David at the desk is rude and has a bad disposition. He gets an attitude when you speak with him and he acts like he's busy doing nothing. I asked could he foil my nails while I wait because Kelly was busy ( because he has done it before) He says I'm busy can't you see! That really should have been my last time. Today I came back to get a mani-pedi and he asked regular I said no " I'm getting a no chip, he said rudely go sit at Kelly's seat! I told him he was speaking rudely. went to get my nails done by Brian Thursday January 25th before I left for vacation the following day. I arrived around 5:30 and did not leave until 7:20 , towards the end Brian was rushing because they had closed and was slapping on the polish , I got a French tip and it was not even, clean or done correctly . I called the following day because a nail had already fallen off, I asked to speak with the manager , the girl answering the phone said she would relay the message to the manager and if I wanted to speak with him to call the following day to speak with him but that it wouldn't be a problem to come in when I get back the following week and fix them. I called the following day which was Sunday and another woman answered the phone and said he won't be in until Monday but will talk to him and that when I come in next week they will take care of it. I went in today February 4th I explained the the guy at the receptionist desk what had happened and he said the best he could do was charge me 45$ for a new set; I explained that's not what I was told and that they would be fixed. I asked if I could speak with the owner or manager and he said that the owner/ manager is not here today. I explained I wasn't going to pay that much for a set of nails that should've been done correctly to begin with. We agreed upon 35 which I still don't understand being that the nails were only a week old and more than half had fallen off. He tried arguing saying that I should've called right away which i did and said that I should've had them fixed right then and there but the salon was already closed and they were rushing me out. As I finished my nails I asked the guy who was doing my nails when the manager / owner will be in and he said that he is in right now and pointed to the guy who was at the reception desk helping me , this salon is filled with liars and people who do not know how to do business. I came in for an acrylic set and a pedicure. It was $70 which thinking about it now seems a little high. I'm all honesty I am not satisfied. My pedicure was a bit rushed and the lady that did it didn't scrub my feet- she ran one swipe down my foot and I don't feel like it was thorough at all. My feet don't feel any different than what I walked in with. It wasn't a busy day and it shouldn't have been that rushed, I think the entire pedicure lasted about 20 min. My acrylic set is okay but not quite the shape I requested and the more I look at it the more I realize I am not happy with both services. The polish job is okay but when I got home I realized it doesn't look like enough coats were applied. I don't mind paying the cost of the services but I don't feel like what I paid for was worth what they charged me. I also think they may have overcharged me for the nails because I know prices have gone up but my receipt said $40 for a basic set of acrylics- not a no chip or anything. They got new nail techs and they are constantly rushing you out as soon as you sit down. I went on Monday for a full set, and by Wednesday they were already lifting!! I went in to get my acrylics done last Monday and they appeared to be very chunky but I didn't say anything. As the days went on I chipped my nail and i went in today to fix it. They said it would be a 30 min wait. I waited 45 minutes and i talked to the receptionist because I was so upset. There were many people that came after me that were served before I was. As a person of color I felt personally attacked and I felt like I wasn't welcome. I waited 15 more minutes and I walked out. If I could give them zero stars I would. All I can say about this place is that I'm disappointed. I have been coming to this salon for over 3 years not sure why because there is always something with them. For the past year I have been scheduling with only Kenny, and occasionally lily. They are both always 10/10 and are on time unless over booked. Since I started with Kenny they have a new receptionist. I have gone in 3 separate times where I walked out not taken care of never got my nails done. First time he over booked Kenny and Kenny told me he had no idea, that the receptionist never said anything to him. The second time I came in asking about my appointment and apparently never put me in the system this was 09/16 for 5:45 with lily. He said oh yeah we can't do it we close at 7. And instead of being helpful and offering me something for tomorrow he says they are all booked. This place was really nice when I first started coming here. Slowly the techs start to get comfortable with you and do a crappy job. Every time I go they act like I am inconveniencing them. They do my nails as quickly as humanly possible every time, so much so I stopped asking for no chip because they don't let each coat of gel dry so it ripples on my nail. Two days ago was the last straw. I came in for an acrylic full of my nails for my birthday. The guy only put acrylic up by my cuticle and filed the rest. Then he glooped on polish so thick it took two hours to dry completely (I sat under the fans/lamp for half an hour and they were still tacky). Last night my pinky nails started cracking across the nail and breaking. The acrylic was so thin it was just breaking. I have chunks of acrylic missing from my nails. I had to soak off the polish and file down my nails. I paid $20 for this crappy job. I have a friend at work who used to come here and stopped because the same thing happened to her - the acrylic would break off. BEWARE!!! I had the most horrendous experience at this location even though I have been here multiple times and I have never had an issue with any of the nail techs or management. I called in a head for a fill-in and a pedicure. My fill-in turn to be a disaster!!! Two weeks prior I had gotten a full set Ombré nails and I was going in for a fill-in the tech clearly did not know what he was doing he completely ruined the Ombré out of my nails and he could not fix it he added layers and layers of acrylic trying to repair the issue and only made it worse. I arrived at 3:45 and ended up leaving past 7 PM after they were closed. The tech tried to repair what he did and he ended up having to cover the nails with polish the nails have ridges all over imperfections a complete mess in mind you I was getting a fill-in for my birthday weekend which starts today. Not only did they not apologize for the inconvenience they tried to overcharge me as if I would have gotten a full set of nails when it was only a fill-in. They did not care that I was inconvenienced that they kept me there for hours and then my nails look like a disaster I showed management the nails and they simply after they charged me told me never to come back to their salon again the owner or manager had the most horrendous attitude he was yelling in front of customers telling me never to come here again that he did not care what my nails look like he did not care if I was satisfied and mind you I was calm the whole time his employees had to tell him to calm down because honestly he was in the wrong. He said he did not care if I was satisfied as a customer and honestly you should care as an owner or manager that your customer is satisfied because customers make your business so the fact that you had to yell in front of everybody and let the whole employees and customers know that you don't care about customer satisfaction is very low very low level of customer service. I will never be back at this location again and I will make everyone aware and share my images on social media and every review site possible so that other customers are aware that just because you had a good experience previously the day you express your not happy it's going to be an issue they're not going to care about you as a customer they're not going to value you or respect and they're going to overcharge you for the service. I made them aware that I will be doing a review and sharing images of what my nails look like and what kind of disaster they did and the owner or manager insisted that he did not care for me never to come back to the location which again. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a business that does not value customers. It is simply low and degrading for someone that owns a business to treat a customer in such a poor unprofessional manner and that should not be acceptable period! So if you care about your money and you care about being valued as a customer do not waste your time here. The level of disrespect was simply disgusting and mind you I was calm the whole time talking like a normal person yet the owner/manager was yelling like a psycho in front of the customers I have never experienced such level of disrespect and humiliation and the fact they have a business due to customers like myself we make their business and YOU AREN'T SHIT without customers like me that support you and your business yet they acted like I inconvenienced them and they did me a favor! Your business is booming and you have what you have thanks to customers like myself so you SHOULD care about us customers and you should address any situation like this to ensure that never happens again instead of being complete trash!!! I am the type of customer that never complains about anything however one thing I do expect it's always respect and I will always stand up for what is right and this right here people with simply not right at all! Le's Nail & Spa II truly was a disappointment. I messaged them on instagram a couple days in advance for a dip & pedi and mani & pedi for my boyfriend's birthday. We walk in and told the girl at the front desk we had an appointment and exactly what it was for. We were seated by the girl and she told me that we would be getting a pedicure at the same time so we could be together. She asked me what color I would like and I said white, she came back with a white dip powder and told me to give this to the nail tech... I was not even given options or the opportunity to look at other color options. A couple min later I was told to be seated with one of the nail techs for my dip manicure. The man seemed like he was very annoyed to be at work, didn't clean my cuticles or push them back what so ever. F the horrible dip job, my bf was taken to be worked on and I assumed it was for his manicure because the girl mentioned us doing pedi's together. Jokes on me, he showed up 10 min later with his shoes on saying he's all done getting his toes cleaned. No manicure, when I mentioned it to my nail tech he said the girl up front didn't tell him. I was hesitant on doing my pedicure at this point because my bf would have to wait around but he insisted I do it. The pedicure was probably even worse than the dip mani because the dead skin again was not cleaned off and the cuticles were happily sitting there looking all crusty even after I was done. The seat for the pedi station was stuck and did not move back so I was sitting at a 90 degree angle with a hard A$$ pillow pushing my head and neck even more forward. I arrived the same time as my cousins yet I finished everything before them?! I have very rough skin on my heels and usually when I go to places they'll see and do a damn good job doing it. The color on my toe nails was a light silver with glitter. I was expecting at least 3/4 coats but I got 2 and you can't even see it, but I still say whatever and let it slide(which honestly looking back, I should've said something because my total was 72$!!!) my total was 72$ and for what? I look back and honestly I did my dipping powder set on my hands only obviously and just a regular pedi. Nothing extra or non chip gel. He was a bit impatient with me because this was my first time getting dip powder and my left wrist hurt a little so a certain angle was uncomfortable. Also, another customer sitting next to me was getting such horrible attitude from her lady! Like I mean horrible! She was rolling her eyes and questioning this lady like wowwww! She is a customer! She is bringing in business and income for your damn salon! I know this isn't the easiest job but this lady was so sweet and she had questions because she is new to doing her nails as well. I used to go to Le's a lot prior to the pandemic. I brought my mom in for a French Manicure and Pedicure and in less than 24 hours, her nails chipped. Yes, I know it's not no chip and there's no guarantee how long they will last but they shouldn't have chipped within that time frame. Also, my mom had to pay an extra fee for a base coat for her nails. (I would assume her nails would last for her 3 day trip). We spoke with Mai and she was very rude, basically didn't want to hear us out on our problem. I even told her that this happened to be before with my pedicure, chipping two days after and they fixed it for me right away, no questions or problems. read more

Usually it's the minor things that make this place sub-par like for example making my cuticles bleed constantly when getting my nails done or the rude techs that get upset when I instinctively pull my hands away when they over do removing my cuticles. After years of searching for a great nail shop, I finally got recommended to this nail shop. Originally I went to there first shop not knowing they just opened a new shop. The person who recommended me told me to ask for Julie or Kim. Thankfully Julie was free at this shop. When I first walked in I was stunned on how art decal and huge the shop was. The shop is designed like a nail bar. Julie welcomed me as I told her I was recommended to her. She had a great sense of humor and spoke to me as I got my nails done. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I walked out of there with a smile from ear to ear. I would recommend this nail shop to anyone.
